  1. The 16-pin 'chip-looking' connector is for the old Apple II's. Basically they had a slot in the back, and you'd open the case to insert the plug in a DIP socket (just like an EPROM or something) - running the cord out the back. Here's a bad picture where you can almost see the plug:

    I have a similar joystick around here somewhere, but I don't know where it is. It had a Y at the end, with connectors for both IBM and Apple (with a cover for the pins). And, I too have lent out my digitial camera. Is that an epidemic or something? :ponder:
