  1. Have to wonder just how many DOS versions of Tempest 2000 does anyone really think Atari might have sold. Atari Interactive didn’t make it very far. I know there were other PC games to be released under the division but was anything outside of Tempest actually released?
  2. Enough good cannot be said about JagStudio. It’s the 🐝 🐝 knees!
  3. @trufun101 what are the character sizes pixelwise of the arcade vs DOS? I found this on Reddit
  4. I use the STe to run MIDI translator software, a STacy4 to run Cubase but would eventually like to get Cubase Audio setup on the Falcon. Power on both the STe and STacy several times a week as I use them both quite often for all the MIDI stuff.
  5. Any video of the final version?
  6. Thanks guys, fantastic news! The feeling:
  7. Personal best for the night, this is a dangerous game.
  8. A night of Jumping at Shadows: Math Moth Line on the Jag - you can call me: ShadowMaster

  9. Agree with every point made with the exception of affordable professional CD production disappearing, at least in the immediate future or time being. Maybe from a local level but I’ve never even considered local being a possibility. If anyone is looking for help to publish pressed CDs with professional packaging, you’re welcome to send me a message. I’ve got multiple projects that would make far more sense to release on a CD than cart but the chances of it being a successful release due to the limiting factors you outlined push me away from bothering. Less about money and more about reach. At one point I said “never again” on another Jaguar CD release but, I tend to stand behind the ‘never say never’ mentality because really, you never know. There’s always going to be the handful of hardcore purists and collectors who just want the full, real-deal experience of using actual hardware., which I can fully appreciate. With the way things are going for the JagGD though, I can’t imagine it being much longer before every single CD game is running on the cart by the end of the year including VLM. There’s only a handful of CD games that currently don’t work but it looks like Saint is making progress on that as of recent. Add on the upcoming possibilities with JagStudio using the GD as a massive bank switching cart and file loading system that will be far more reliable than the JagCD is, and it’s a done deal. I’m currently doing things I never imagined the Jaguar would be possible doing.. so, call me a believer and convinced. At this point, I view the JagCD as an overvalued liability and is why I sold mine a while back. Part of me still wants one but the non-collector part of me moved on.
  10. Where we’re going, we won’t need CD drives….
  11. Very much look forward to this, should it become a working thing. Hope so though... really don't want to try and find and waste money on another JagCD unit.
  12. Looks like a virus to me... but most likely just a garbage SD card.
  13. Love seeing new 3D stuff, thanks! Beat the game
  14. In the off chance that anyone is sitting on an unused dev Jaguar console with stub cable in good working condition. I'd like to pair it up with a recently acquired Alpine board to dig into the dev side of things a little deeper. With that, I have a complete in box Atari XEGS (was a NOS sealed unit) that I would consider trading for one. I maxed out my 130XE and really have no need for additional unused units but this would certainly be ideal for a collector. Alternatively I also have an Atari Megafile44 with some disk cartridges up for consideration since I don't use it. Please feel free to drop me a PM with pictures of the Dev Jag unit and I'll respond with the same. Thanks
  15. I guess it depends on the price but I would be more than willing to sink teeth into a Falcon and STbook remake.
  16. I've used and still have a Roland S50 that I got simply as a controller that I paid just under $100 for and it came with a hard case. Not idea to really use it as the synth itself since the sound is so dated but running it through a proper Roland 1080 or 2080 with some sort of FX processor is gold!
  17. Good News: All the JagSwag has shipped! Thanks to everyone who signed up and snagged some goodies.
  18. So I couldn't pass up a NIB "Blue Heat" for the PC. I'm in for a treat, right guys? Right?

  19. Great news, sadly I no longer own a NUON. Still kick myself for not buying a stack when the NUONs were on clearance for $60. Last 2 I owned the lasers died so I sold it off as spare parts. Aren't the controllers even more rare or did someone come up with a solution for that?
  20. Odd. Might be internal use super early models? *not that I’m asking you to open them up but surely the boards inside would have some kind of serial tracking:
  21. Yes, thanks. So now I wonder how long they actually did manufacture them only to have sat on so many by the end. Anyone with one later than May?
  22. While searching for one of the earliest production Jaguars released in October of 1993 (Kx3Axxxxxx serial), from what I can find, it appears that the last production run of the Jaguar would have been in March of 1995 (Mx53xxxxxx serial) Which means they would have been sitting on over 100k units for quite a long time, if true. Curious if anyone here knowingly owns a Jag that was in fact produced later than March of 1995 or if anyone is aware of the actual end of production date for new Jaguar consoles. 3rd number of the serial should be a 5 for 1995 and the number after that would be the month. 1 for Jan, 2 for Feb and so on., so anything above a 3.
