  1. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=2034867845 One of those items you didn't know exists until it appears on eBay... well I got one myself...
  2. Nothing that you are after currently Simon... though there is a combined Powerplay/Funplay pack on eBay at the mo...
  3. He missed the "s" off the "a" to mean "as"... -> glad the window hasn't closed as I'd sure like to buy...
  4. According to some stats someone did... Sunday is the best day to sell, Tuesday is the best day to buy...

    MIA 7800

has disappeared from the list of new releases at CGE on the website. Is it still coming out there or not?
  6. That old chestnut And yes, it's a bit of a time to wait...
  7. //waves hand being the geezer who does the C64 DP section Miner 2049er was released on cartridge for the C64, but not Bounty Bob (to my extensive knowledge). I've got a loose M2049, I've only ever seen one complete version on eBay (and got sniped for it).
  8. Yes they do have an effect in some 7800 games, just not all of them use that feature. What I meant was the switches were like the one on the 2600, not that they only for use with 2600 games plugged in.
  9. The switches by the joystick ports are the difficulty switches a la 2600. Though they are also used to interesting "eggs" in some programs too...
  10. I tried it with Sentinel and Barnyard Blaster, got nothing from it when I pressed the trigger. So I'm guessing it doesn't work...
  11. That's my history lesson too, so I guess it's mostly correct
  12. This gun should work with a 7800 right? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Mfc...item=1356907609 Because I don't get a squeak out of it now it's arrived. Faulty perhaps?
  13. @Viso... ah if that's the case, then yeah, S-video would be the best option. I no longer run my C64 through RF, and the difference is big...
  14. S-video? Ah what the heck, go for RGB Scart, even better! Hmmm do Americans know what that is though?
  15. Goto the link I posted. There's a reseller shop in the US (run by Burt) who can sell you the right cable for under $10. And you get the software there as well. Plus all the tech help you might need to get it working...
  16. Yes, though not as good. I have one at home myself...
  17. Make a list of the carts if you can, might be something I'm interested in. Always on the lookout for new stuff http://www.mayhem64.co.uk
  18. It was released by Ocean/Imagine for home computers (C64, Spectrum etc) in Europe. A pseudo sequel to the Renegade coin-op, same sort of thing, much bigger levels however...
  19. I've not had any space for ages and I still collect stuff in When it's for the C64 and you own more than 1,200 items in a room no more than 150ft square, that's some cramming!
  20. Well I could do with Klax and Pitfighter anyhows...! Hopefully they will be available...
  21. Or go here: http://sta.c64.org As these guys INVENTED the cables, build them for sale ($10 inc p&p roughly) and have the best free software (Star Commander) for transfering between 1541 and PC. All you do is connect your 1541 drive to your PC parallel port with the X/XE1541 cable (XE for Pentiums recommended) and run the software. Then you can transfer either way, sole programs or whole discs.
  22. If anyone wants one of those footpedal controllers anyhows, I have one spare for sale/trade at the moment. Pop me a message or email if you're interested
  23. The "Impossible Mission" footage is definitely the C64 version, and I'd almost say that the "Summer Games" and "Winter Games" footage was too...
  24. And just as a word to add, new games are still being released for C64. However without the constraint of having to be on ROM, it means they can be easily transfered over the net and anyone with the right equipment can copy them to proper 5.25" discs and play on a real C64...
  25. I took nearly 70 in total, and more than 50 will be used once I write all the copy to link them! Currently done floor 1, onto floor 2. The exhibition will be at various places around the world once it has finished here, so you might get a chance to see some things...
