  1. Mayhem

    Baby Pac-Man

Yes, you are arguably the best 7800 programmer out there Bob also helps you share my birthday
  2. Firetrack is automatic fire, the "fire" button makes you fire faster heh... so that's not a bug. Being unable to go past level 1, is however...
  3. Yes, that pretty much matches what Crane told me when I asked him about Ghostbusters at CGE 2003 over dinner...
  4. My VIC-1001 and PAL revision A C64 both have ceramic chips in them iirc. Certainly in the case of the latter, the early VIC-II chips were made in ceramic before swapping to more heat tolerant plastic type.
  5. It was probably the limited CGE release in the metal tin. I own one myself, in fact I think it was the last copy Paul had left.
  6. That's a very old 6502 there! To me, it looks like the bottom half of a VIC1001 and the top half of an early US VIC-20.
  7. Based on comments in the ET thread, there's three copies of Red Sea Crossing. Gauntlet is a bit hard to judge, because there are boards and chips (no cases) out there as well, someone found a supply of the chips iirc. I bought one back at the time, although it has since been sold. Isn't the run on Video Life something like 20 odd as well?
  8. If Wonder wanted a second copy (and he could) then it's for trading against something else stunningly unique or ultra rare that somehow he doesn't have. Like if another monogram came up for example. I run it myself for certain items in what I collect, and it's pretty much common sense because a lot of the time, cold hard cash doesn't do it. I started eating popcorn like 4 pages ago...
  9. Ah, thought it was Epyx, it had released a few UK games in the US.
  10. Yes, the C64 version was released in the US by Epyx and called "Tower Toppler". Then there's the NES version called "Castellian".
  11. You after the HES (plastic clamshell), Salu (cardboard box) or both versions for those games? Still after the Salu version of F18 Hornet myself...
  12. There were five Atari Club releases, Gravitar was later available at retail, Atari Video Cube was rejigged slightly iirc and sold as Rubik's Cube. The others were Quadrun, Crazy Climber, and SwordQuest WaterWorld.
  13. I have the 7800 specific release, but not the manual, yet.
  14. Don't think Marc sells the boxes. Aside from Power Off, the games are all more than 15 years old.
  15. Complete... boxes...? (As it turns out, Im actually looking to sell CIB set of Ebivision titles heh)
  16. Actually the system in Brazil and Argentina is closer to standard PAL than NTSC.
  17. Probably people not realising, trying to find the harder games that are easier to locate here (Planet Smashers, Ninja Golf, Alien Brigade, Mean 18 etc). Or coming up through South America perhaps.
  18. Fair enough... but of course, that never happened in the UK heh... I just took it as read that any 7800 game I bought here was actually PAL. Thankfully they are were.
  19. Yes, all the boxes and manuals are the same between US and Europe. So you have NO way to determine if a game is NTSC or PAL until you open her up and try the cartridge out.
  20. You can buy Protector/YASI from Packrat as well.
  21. It was deliberately designed to just play cartridges, nothing else, hence the BIOS is different and you get a screen showing if you turn on the power with no cartridge inserted.
  22. You obviously didn't go through all the photos (yes, Stramash Zone is the full box/overlay/cart package)
  23. Nope, that's spot on. The Vectrex is basically just being used as a display. Here are my photos from the event: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mayhemers/albums/72157696448972444
