  1. It's still coming I believe...
  2. $65 originally, even when a few more orders were allowed several months later. Problems were, the box came back wrong, the overlays needed redoing twice, you can't legislate for things going wrong, and they repeatedly did sadly for this game. Then issues with getting the cart shells, so George ended up 3D printing them himself.
  3. Can't try it yet as my Windows is 32bit, c'est la vie.
  4. George used to take pre-orders, and now no longer does, I think what's happened with Warrior and Hellhole are likely reasons. But it wasn't going to be that way, a number of things happened in 2013/14 afaik which completely screwed up getting the products out within the time frame originally planned. This is based on the wait time there used to be prior for other games I ordered from him.
  5. Mine arrived in January, so they are slowly making their way out...
  6. For both HES and Salu, must have missed that Walter heh... still missing that Salu F18 here...!
  7. If the adverts were anything to go by, the Atari 800 was still $999 when the C64 launched in August 1982 at $595.
  8. Congrats! I've got one for my C64 CIB Spy Hunter, and yeah, not easy to locate... had to rely on another collector to pass along a spare to me, also unused with new velcro stickies.
  9. The boards are mostly all new... don't know about the shells.
  10. Yep, that's real, matches the one I own (albeit mine is NTSC).
  11. Note: DO NOT store floppy disks there, the drive has NO magnetic shielding and you'll eventually wipe them that way! I use that cubby hole to store the keyboard cable personally.
  12. There's not really any disputing about Billy getting a perfect Pac-Man game. The rumour out there is there's possible evidence he wasn't the first though...
  13. Don't think it was Paypal, it was straight charged to my credit card by the looks of it. Have a search for emails from [email protected] .
  14. Yeah... I think this is one of those carts that Ward Shrake dumped back in the 90s and no one has ever seen a real release, presuming that it was indeed only a prototype at best.
  15. Don't worry, I agree with you, the sticks are far too loose and have no pushback, so you can easily overshoot how far you want to move them. And I prefer concave tops to convex. Best three controllers for me have been GameCube, Xbox360 and maybe Dreamcast.
  16. $60-75 is about what a loose Chuckwagon goes for nowadays.
  17. Ah, someone else who likes Diamond Mine! Presume, like me, you mean the Roklan game here? I'd estimate I've played 3000+ C64 titles in my time in some capacity, but that's still a small part of the library, even discounting all the magazine listings and duplicates in GB64...
  18. Burning Rubber is the original Japanese title.
  19. The C64 version wasn't official...
  20. I think the rarity thing stretches across most formats, certain the double enders are easy to find on the Vic20 for example than the single enders. Still hunting for box/manual for a few of those...
  21. Now, I would still love to get the t-shirts heh.
  22. There is beginners and champion courses like the arcade, and also something else you can find...!
  23. Companies are lot stricter about look than feel nowadays, and it's the fact it looked like Super Mario that ran it into trouble, not that it copied the same gameplay. But you could be right, there might be less trouble now than it had originally.
