  1. Nintendo. The ROM for the game is still available on the forum mind you, so if you have a solution such as Harmony, then you can play it that way.
  2. New...? Well, not quite, it's a 8-9 year old Sony Bravia, but everything is in colour heh.
  3. I have an S-video modded 7800 NTSC... so I can play 2600 and 7800 NTSC games here
  4. Could be your joystick. Having played Moon Patrol a lot, and as one of the playtesters on Vector Patrol, I can't say I noticed an issue there.
  5. I'm aware of about 2-3 original games that were released on disk, not sure if they were also released on tape, but they aren't multiloads. There are probably more modern homebrew titles that take advantage of disk, look for Psytronik releases for starters.
  6. Considering I thought you can already pay via credit card without needing a Paypal account on eBay (albeit I think it's handled by Paypal) then I guess the switch is just to reduce costs, or eBay to get a bigger cut?
  7. Someone posted having a Vector Pilot over 700, so I figure since then, amidst people STILL asking where to get the game from, there's been enough orders to push it towards 800 heh.
  8. The number of audio channels available. The SID generally had three, four at a push when samples appeared, so you sacrifice a channel for SFX, and thus writing a tune in only two channels.
  9. Vector Pilot is now around the 800 mark I believe.
  10. It won't sell out... it's just variable about how long it will take to get a copy!
  11. Yeah, sounds like the carts need a good clean. And the cart slot as well for good measure. NTSC games on a PAL 7800 are a bit hit and miss, some play fine, some of them glitch like crazy, and some of them crash early doors. Sadly that's most of the NTSC exclusive titles (Robotron, Summer/Winter Games etc).
  12. Had a funny feeling it was Dave something, so yeah, looks to be the one, cheers!

    VecFever

Guessing no one has had a reply back yet though?
  14. I took this at CGE 2004 and someone asked me about the person in question, and I'm having a hard time remembering who it is! Anyone can help me out? https://www.flickr.com/photos/mayhemers/359857602/in/album-72157594483594323/
  15. I think a bunch of us ordered that first day heh...
  16. You can try, Spelling Practise (sic) is probably the only one I'm interested in.
  17. Sounds more like the console doesn't think they are there... are the carts fully plugged in?
  18. Managed to find my original XM order email from 2010 last night, so hooray me heh. Wonder where I lie in the scheme of things? Curt still owes me a working High Score cart too, but I'll wait on that until most of these are out of the way!
  19. I think one or two bugs were fixed for the US Gold release of SG2 in Europe. But I've never had issue running either SG or SG2 originals here.
  20. Well, where do we start there? I guess it really depends what sort of genres you like. Now obviously the Vectrex isn't going to have some game types, as you can probably guess! But if I was to name five games that any Vectrex owner should have in their collection, I would likely list Protector, Vector Pilot, Vectrexagon, Thrust, and Star Sling. By the end of next year, this list might change, as we are due Robot Arena (albeit only on VecFever), and Vector Patrol is just about to be made available for purchase.
  21. Saw the film last night, it's a ton of fun, and manages to hold true to both the original movie and an updated version based on a videogame (there's quite a few tropes in there that anyone who's played games will recognise!). AND it's rather like The Breakfast Club in its over-riding plot points, which isn't a bad thing either. As for the console, the kid featured at the start of the film already owns it, and
  22. How are you playing, real hardware or emulation? If the latter, you might as well use Stella and play it in NTSC with the ROM available.
  23. I'm guessing you're asking because there's only one BIN in the download zip for the game entry at AA? You can buy it for PAL60, so presumably there must be a ROM somewhere.
  24. I think more to do with Lost Dragon's next paragraph underneath that. Mention you possibly worked on something, and people allegedly then start contacting you repeatedly about finding if you have anything still in the garage, loft etc. By not saying anything to do with what they may have worked on that was not released, no hassle from anyone!
