They won't even power on if there is no cartridge insterted. Yes, and I just double checked with four games to make sure. The system still does not power up.

Some others people has got the same problems, you can repair it, let's have a look here : http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=96293 GT Turbo Sorry, I should have stated that I do not want to repair it myself. However, if that is my only option, then I suppose I have nothing to lose by trying.
  5. Hi, I bought a used Jaguar a few months back with original Atari power adapter and Atari rf switch included, but it would not power up. The Jaguar itself is the problem because the power adapter powered up a Sega Genesis. My question is, can I send the Jaguar somewhere to get it repaired or would buying another Jaguar be a better solution?
