im getting a new laptop in december... should i go with windows 7 or windows 8? they both are good in their own ways, i hate the windows 8 layout but ive heard its faster, and windows 7 i have experience using and i like better, but, again, ive heard windows 8 is faster. what are your thoughts?

You know what I used to like? Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia for Sega CD! Its a really good software for its time and helped me during my grade school years! The information is still useful on many topics and would like to see a new, up-to-date version on the Xbox One or PS4. Many would think it would be a waste of money and time though because of the internet!!
