  1. Great deal!!!! What kind of joystick is that? (Not the 7800 stick, the other one)?
  2. Commons Ok, I've got: ACTIVISION Barnstorming/Chopper Command/Grand Prix/Laser Blast/Stampede ATARI Asteroids/Basketball/Berzerk/Combat/Defender/Joust/Missile Command/ Night Driver/Outlaw/Pac-Man/Realsports Football/Sorcerers Apprentice/ Space Invaders/Space War/Star Raiders (with touch pad)/ Street Racer/Swordquest Earthworld (X2)/Warlords COLECO Donkey Kong IMAGIC Fire Fighter Star Voyager Trick Shot M-NETWORK/INTV Armor Ambush/Baseball (X2) PARKER BROTHERS Spider-Man Tutankham US GAMES Commando Raid Some of them are a little rough. I can send pics if you like. These are all my dupes that are taking up space!!! I also have for the 5200 if you are interested: Countermeasure Moon Patrol Pac-Man Super Breakout Pitfall And River Raid & Keystone Kapers, but they're both dead. I'd MUCH prefer to sell them as a lot. That is, the 2600 games as a set, or the 5200 set, or the whole shi-bang. I know it's not great for the serious collector, but it would be a great starter for a new collector!
  3. So I got my first "9" this week....Waterworld. I also got a nice lot of games which included a Tapper for $7 bucks. Needless to say, I'm on a high right now. But...Earthworld is a "9" here. The Cart Commander program I use has it as only a "7". Tapper, here on AA is a "6", Cart Comm has it a "5". Then there is the Digital Press list, which costs $25 BUCKS (is it just me or is that a little high btw? ) which I'm sure is different from both (otherwise why would anyone buy it right?) Yeah...I know, everyone will probably say AA. I'd tend to agree.....but since I've been here over a year now, I notice none of the rarity codes seem to ever change. Not to say they should.... Thoughts?
  4. I hear ya man! I get like that....'specially when the credit card statement comes and I see just how much I've spent! Well.....I don't know if I'd take it that far though....
  5. Can you say....... NEWBIE BIDDING WAR????
  6. Did Atari (or any company for that matter) make any 5200 carts in PAL format?
  7. It's tough when a seller pulls this crap. They obviously misled you, and knew they were from the start. Unfortunately, a sure sign of a poor seller is one who does not post immediate feedback after you've made payment. Any delay indicates they are anticipating you may be unhappy, and are waiting for you to post feedback so as to save the old retaliatory negative. (Not all of course that wait to post feedback after payment are pulling this trick, but there is absolutely no reason for any delay of more than 1-2 days!!!) The best thing to do IMHO is send one more email. Politely tell them that in addition to leaving negative feedback, you will be filing a complaint with Ebay. If you paid by credit card, depending on the bank you may have an avenue to complain through them, possibly to the extent they can reverse the charge. Like they say, "buyer beware". There are plenty of great sellers on ebay. Unfortunately there are plenty of scumbags too. At the least, you should post the sellers username here, to warn your fellow videogamers!!!
  8. The SOB computer opponent in Atari basketball. He knows when to kick ass. If you are down 4 or more points, he's a breeze. But if you are only 2 behind, he's a little tougher - tied...hes real tough. God forbid you get ahead by 2-4 points, there's no way to stop him from scoring, and he's DAMN impossible to score on. Either that or I suck at the game....
  9. Anyone got a loose waterworld for sale?????? PM me please!
  10. Yes, but even then, that's way too much! It wound up going for $18.50! Yikes.....
  11. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...gory=21177&rd=1 Um....why are there so many bids on this? The cart is only a three?!?!?! I mean, I've dealt with the seller and they are great....I can't imagine why it's up to $15.50 right now?!?!? What am I missing?
  12. Just count your collection and that's how many there were made CPU!
  13. Definetly a good seller. I've bought plenty of individual carts from them. Never a problem....
  14. You did great man! Actually, that's the second time that lot was for sale at goodwill. It went a few weeks ago (for about the same $$) but the winning bidder never paid.....
  15. I often have wondered this myself. Is there a way you can tell if your (newer) tv is compatible (BEFORE buying a pal cart and plugging it in? )
  16. Right here is a great site for Atari roms. You can find emulators at digitpress.com and theroms.com
  17. That's WAY high. Probably someone emailed him to end the auction early, and decided to get greedy and yank the price.
  18. Nope, no prob with mine. It froze once, but my 9 year old had played it last. I took out the disc, wiped off her greasy potato chip fingerprints from the disc and it never happened again. I think the "xbox freezes up" legend was started by Sony or Nintendo. I have a bunch of games, and my "box" goes sometimes from early am to late night (betwqeen me and the 2 kids) and never a problem.
  19. Check out Ebay, do a search for Atari 2600. The "classic" carts are easy to come by. Just be careful, there are a lot of scumbags that try to rip you off. The worst are the ones selling carts for $1.00, then charge $5-6 (each cartridge) for shipping and "handling". There are also a lot of cool members here @ AA who are willing to help you get started by selling or trading their old (duplicate) carts. I just started a month ago and have a nice little collection. I had a 2600 in my youth, and started again recently. It's a lot of fun because the games rely on actually enjoying the game rather than the graphics and sound. Have fun and welcome!
  20. But why did they suspend it? I mena, didn't they even give a reason??
  21. I saw that...thats why I posted here. $30 seems a bit high. BUT...if I can't track one down for less, I'll buy from him.
