  1. Yeah I read about the 2nd. The sim part is half the game. I’m hoping for a copy w/a messed up label - should go for cheaper and I could just switch the cover with the one I have.
  2. Looking to buy any of these, specifically the Scott Adams ones. Looking for "complete" - Cassette/cart(if applicable) manual/instructions. There one guy selling one of each - he must be sitting on old inventory, but they're a bit pricey for me. PM or reply here! 🙂
  3. Thanks a ton! The game is Actraiser, which isn’t expensive, but not cheap either. Gonna keep an eye out for a low bin right after it’s been listed.
  4. Has anyone bought any of these? Some come pre-loaded with hundreds of games (most of which are dupes I know), but not a hell of a lot of other info. I recently re-set up my SNES. Did the Retrobrite, looks great....started playing, of course just about ALL the games that require saving - the batteries are dead. I actually you toubed and read up on replacing the battery. Two seem to be working perfectly, but one specifically must just be fried, it saves for about a week then it loses the memory (yes, I did it the right way, soldering the battery. It's a game I really love, and there are a few others I haven't messed with yet and don't want to so Id rather just buy an all in one for the games. And no I' dont care to do emulation. Feels sheap to me lol. Anyway...any suggestions would be much appreciated!
  5. Meh...I just accepted the return. No sense trying to fight it, I read Ebays T&C, they pretty much say the buyer can say whatever they want, and Ebays money back guarantee "protects" the buyer even if it's clear they are pulling a fast one. This guy scammed me and that's that.
  6. Well I was hoping this dude would have a change of heart, but I got scammed. Live and learn. He sent a refund request. If I just do “accept the return” who pays the shipping? I’m NOT going to let him a totally free ride.
  7. Wow thanks! I'm keeping an eagle eye on my email for any info from Ebay. If he files I'll definitely call them. Funny, I had a thought to just put a tiny mark on the front side of the disc (not that it would protect me) in case someone tried to pull this. My biggest mistake was answering him right before the auction ended telling him there were no visible scratches. He did email and say the game worked fine, but I doubt Ebay will side with me at any rate.
  8. No, I emailed the dude back on the 31st and said to file a claim and send it back, and that the return shipping cost is on him. Haven't heard back. I had offered to swap it out for another copy, he said he'd think about it, then emailed and said he was disappointed and didn't want a swap, he preferred a refund. That's when I realized for sure he's pulling a fast one. My only hope is he delays filing past 30 days, but even then I'd wager Ebay will side with the buyer. Live and learn I guess.
  9. Bump and update! Most everything is gone, down to the last 2 items this round... Open to offers or trade! Prices added!
  10. No problems. I very much appreciate you offering to help.
  11. Are you certain? I just took a snap of one of my other copies of Dark Wizard. The numbers actually look alike… And…regardless of what he claims, is t the fact (assuming it is fact) he misrepresented the disc I supposedly sent…isn’t that alone an attempt at fraud?
  12. No it was Dark Wizard. How do you know it is Chuck Rock?
  13. Yep but unfortunately that didn't help. ☹️
  14. That's what I was afraid of. The "seller does not accept returns" doesn't mean anything does it? From now on my auctions will have a *AS IS - NO REFUNDS*. Or does that not even protect me?
  15. Thanks, though that is not my question. I know the disc I sent. Those pics are of a different disc. So as to my question, would I have recourse with Ebay? My big mistake was answering a last minute question and saying there are no visible scratches instead of "Look at the picture, that it the disc I am selling." Thanks for the info all the same.
  16. So I sold a Sega CD on Ebay. The pic shows the disc, pretty clear, not scratches or imperfections on the disc. A few minutes before the auction ended, the guy who ultimately won asked if there are any scratches on the disc. "None that are visible. One of the pics shows the surface." was my reply. Here's a shot from the auction of the disc I sent; He sent back these two pictures, saying this is the disc he says he received; Clearly, he switched the disc. This is 100% NOT the one I sent. He said the game did work, but says he is "very disappointed", and wants to get a refund. I know I've been scammed, and it's not a ton of $$ but $##@!@#! I'm pissed. I don't suppose I have any recourse?
  17. If you're willing I'll ship it to you to look at, if it's unfixable you can keep it for parts. I'm so frustrated at this point I'm ready to put everything I've bought on Ebay. It's not recording at all. Not on the TI player, or the QFX unit I bought. With both of them, with the red cord plugged in, it's picking up background noise. That's why I'm wondering if it's something internal with the TI itself. Both players load games like a champ, I have the first adventure and mystery funhouse. Both load, but won't save game progress.
  18. Well....it's not the cord. I tried the new cord on both cassette players and it's not recording at all. I get the prompts, but then when I go back to check it says no data found, and sure enough if I play through the cassette players speaker there's no computer/ data sound. Is there something Internal on the TI unit itself that can be the problem? That's the only thing left. I haven't tried checking the alpha lock to see if it's up or down, but that shouldn't matter for recording? Just for the hell of it, I'm going to buy a new cord. I've had three cassette players. The TI model played and loaded fine, recorded and would read/load the saved file. Then that stopped. The 2nd was fine all around, that one was just cheap crap, the play speed started warbling on that one.
  19. Just for the hell of it, I'm going to buy a new cord. I've had three cassette players. The TI model played and loaded fine, recorded and would read/load the saved file. Then that stopped. The 2nd was fine all around, that one was just cheap crap, the play speed started warbling on that one. This latest one straight up won't record. Gotta be worth a try. One thing that *was* weird..the TI unit...that problem was it not playing loud enough to load, but when I'd plug in my iphone earbuds it was loud as hell??
  20. Except…it *is* picking up background noise. I heard the TI beep from my tv and me moving to press stop after I record a file.
  21. Ok that def. sounds like a logical explanation...however, I am NOT good with technical stuff. I've ruined more systems and controllers than I care to say trying to make internal adjustments. The recorder is new, I can just return it to Amazon for a refund. Do you know of any good cassette players you could recommend? I'll of course look around. I had bought a TI brand player off Ebay, unfortunately it was untested which of course meant unworking The one I have uses a built-in mic, so I wonder if it's picking up interference and/or background noise when I try to record.
  22. Well...I am humbly asking for assistance AGAIN. So the Jensen recorder above WAS working fine. Games loaded from cassette, I was able to save games and reload them...Then apparently the motor started fussing up and it wasn't playing the tape at the correct speed so the TI would not load the cassette. Enter another cassette player. Worked fantastically loading from the original cassette, and loaded the saved game(s) I had recorded on a blank cassette with the previous player. This one has a slightly different setup, it allows for USB (which I don't really need) and has a setting for USB/Line in/tape/off. As I said, it loads wonderfully. Recording not so much. I've tried every combination - both the in (red) and out (white) plugged in at the same time - once on the "tape" setting, once on the "line in" setting. I tried recording with JUST the red cable, then switching to the "tape" setting with just the white cable... Yes it's another pos cheap-o Amazon crap cassette, and while I'd much rather have an older model not so cheaply made, they're being sold as "classics" or "vintage" for a stupid high price. Honestly, more than assistance with this player, I'm wondering if any of you can recommend a good brand that you use that's readily available on ebay, amazon, etc...if you have a thought of what *might* be my issue great. A suggestion of a player that's reliable to work with the TI is fine as well. TIA....again!
  23. Sold items updated added a few things...
  24. $40 + shipping for the roller controller. And ya the controllers are the stock controllers.
