Yeah thats what I do with games I dont have. I play them on the emu and then decide if I want to buy them or not!

I guess its not that bad, but like some of the others, I dont like the ship dissapearing when you shoot. Other then that, its not a bad game!

I thougth it was kind of stupid! But like Chef Ramsey from Hells Kitchen said, "If they scare you, your not going to forget". Maybe thats why Atari did that commercial, trying to scare the kids a little so they wouldnt forget the title of the new game Atari put out!

i'm getting the power supply from the tex*treasures, and i'm getting a bunch of games in the mail within the next few days.

 

One more question: will 2600 controllers work with the TI? Looks like the same plug in.

 

 

You have to have an adapter to use 2600 sticks. The TI sticks are crap and most of the time don't work anymore since the internal contacts seem to be just metallic paint on a sheet of flexible plastic.

 

I have to agree, get the adapter the TI joysticks are not that pleasant to use and seem fairly flimsy although I haven't broken a set yet. The TI joysticks combine 2 sticks into 1 plug. I've seen both 1 joystick adapters & Y cable adapters.

 

Yes yes yes! Those TI joysticks SUCK!! I use this aftemarket one I got with mine. Its blue and black, with two red fire buttons on the front face. It says pro stick 3 on the top cover. And you can change it from 4 way to 8 way. It really works like a charm!!

Hey jaybird, no to pressure you or anything, but the sooner the better, cause right now im using old keys from an old keyboard and none of them fit right. And when in extened basic doing a program and a key gets stuch down, it really sucks cause i have to got erase all of them, so sooner the better. THANKS!!

Well, I wouldnt mind beige. But black would be better. I was looking last night and really dont see anyway to get that keyboard out. Maybe you could send me the board and I could pull them off key by key and replace it that way. Anyway, im missing v,g,space,right shift, and function.
