Hi Atariage I found this mod on atarimuseum: http://atarimuseum.com/fb2hacks/ You have probably all heard about it before, but it allows an atari flashback 2 to play 2600 cartridges. My first question is: Is it possible to perform this mod on the flashback 4? I prefer the 4, since it has rca output, more built in games and wireless controller options. However, since i am not a modder, i would like to know if someone in here would be willing to mod the console for me, and what would you charge for it? - Buying a new console on ebay(i have already found a few). - Mod the console. - and send it to me(i live in Denmark). I will of course pay for console, shipping, materials and work hours(through paypal). P.S. Sorry for my potentially horrendous english, but as i stated before i am danish - so english is not my vernacular.

There are ten mystery boxes in this thread, each contains 2 games of middling rarity and/or value. If you see a system listed you want, post in this thread which one you want. Rules: 1) First to post for an item, gets that item 2) ONE choice per poster. 3) Be definitive when you post; I will disregard posts with more than one pick, or an "either or" pick. 4) USA only, just because of the cost of shipping. Sorry After posting here, I'll contact the poster via pm for where to ship to. Below is a list of how many of each type of box: 1- C64 CLAIMED - INFRAMAN 1- Intellivision CLAIMED -EBELHAKI 1- Colecovision CLAIMED - SCALPEL 2- Gameboy Advance 2 CLAIMED - RED 5 AND DRAGONAUTIC 5- Atari 2600 5 CLAIMED - RHCOCKER, JETSET, SEGASATURN, ROADRUNNER, ATARI 181

The Twelfth and final Round of the 2013 Harmony Games is Space Rocks(I chosen the game since craftsmanmike has decided not to play) Breif Description:While on a routine Stellar Cartography mission, UESC Rains experienced a malfunction and warped into an asteroid field in an unknown sector of space. Unable to get a bearing to safely warp out, the ship must blast the asteroids into smithereens to prevent imminent destruction. To make matters worse, the local inhabitants are xenophobic and have sent warships and Magna-Mines to eliminate the alien (that's you!) threat. As the pilot of your ship you must maneuver instantly, rotating left, right and energizing your thrusters to avoid destruction. A direct hit on an asteroid with your laser cannon breaks it in two. A hit on one of these breaks it into two smaller asteroids, a final hit on a small asteroid destroys it completely. Your ship is equipped with a special defensive option to help you avoid collisions when the action gets intense! Space Rocks is an impressive blending of the classic arcade games Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe, crafted for the Atari 2600 by Darrell Spice, Jr. If you're a fan of either arcade cabinet (or both!), you'll love Space Rocks! While Atari's version of Asteroids for the 2600 was passable at the time of its release, Space Rocks blasts far ahead of this early effort. Taking full advantage of the DPC+ mode in our Melody Board, Space Rocks pushes the Atari 2600 to its limits and offers a wide variety of gameplay options to keep you playing for years to come. The graphics, animations, and sound effects are well above what is typically experienced on the 2600. (this game was originaly suguested by Spiceware when the harmony games started and since we started with space shooters figured we should end with one) Use the following settings: style: dosent matter (just changes the style to either solid or vector) color: muliticolor Level: Hard (yes we going make it tough for you) Option: Hyperspace Fricton: on megaminds on Bonus life at 20k Normal ranking /scoring continues (20 bonus pts if you reach 20k for the bonus life) you can d/l the rom from here (if your a few of the lucky people who brought cart you can play that as well) This round and Season ends on jan 3rd 2014 Good Luck!!! as always scores will only be updated on the webpage and AVC Forum(since I have no editing feature here) (you can also post scores on the AVC Forum as well just follow the instructions posted on the harmony games web page) any scores for Lead posted (for those who are not listed) will now count as one point until Dec 31st then no more won't be accepted

This is a listing for the Starpath\Arcadia SuperCharger add-on for the Atari 2600. This listing contains all 12 games for the add-on, excluding prototypes. All games include everything but the box, excluding Phaser Patrol which I do not have the manual for. This is cheaper than buying everything off of eBay, and some of these games aren't even on eBay, so their prices are based off of an Atari Price Guide and pricecharting for previous eBay auctions. In addition to having no boxes, a few of the manuals have writing in them. $375 total for all of these. If you are looking to start an Atari or rare video game collection, this is a great start, or if you are collecting already, this will make a great addition! Contact me for info about picking up and purchasing these. Thanks. NOTES: I am not really willing to ship the games, however, if I do, you are paying all of the shipping costs. That includes packaging and shipping. The payment would be made with PayPal, but there could be complications with sending the money due to business tax and such. Oh, and I99. I am not selling the games individually, only as a set. They're untested, though they sound similar to working .WAV files of the games. Pictures here: http://imgur.com/a/ed7hS

I'm looking for information on this, hoping someone here can help: It's an adapted Atari VCS with specialised controls and B/W monitor. The image dates from 2006, believed to be from an eBay auction in the USA. You can see it originally being used around 1982 from Ken Yankelevitz (who created it) here: I found the image here: http://www.pong-picture-page.de/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=14&products_id=1593 Can anyone please shed some light on what happened to this? I'm really hoping it's not been dumped, as I'd love to get hold of it. Thanks for looking (re. bounced from http://atariage.com/forums/topic/212700-info-wanted-atari-2600-hacked-for-disabled-users/). A great achievement of Atari since 1977 which no other system has beaten is the quality of the artwork. I enjoy the Codebreaker game, and all the puzzle style cartridges had this outstanding artwork: realist paintings superimposed on eachother as a series of images. But who were the artists? Commercial art is notorious for not crediting skilled artists; meanwhile someone who can't handle a paintbrush is feted in a gallery and sells their work for a fortune- my father was a commercial and gallery artist, his commercial work helped the companies but not credited. Drew Suzan who did the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album cover appears to have done the Raiders of the Lost Ark but the same artist who did Video Chess appears to have painted Night Driver and Haunted House. I'd be interested int the late 80s cartoon artists but opnly as curiosity. Its's the early yearsa that are classic

hey guys, works been slow lately so ive been working on a hack, or to be more specific, a hack of a hack. the original hack was based on motocross, but the bike sprites had been replaced pod racers. its on JDD (http://jims_digital_domain.tripod.com/dwnloads.htm) if you want to have a look. Im taking it a step further by modifying all the other sprites (done) and changing the background (also done), but I also want to change the color of the sprites and background. witch is where im at a loss, ive made mods to games that use sprites in the past shure, (EX: chris sawyers locomotion) but in those games the sprite contained the colors used in it. on the Atari however, it seems the colors must be contained somewhere in the games code, and sense both the sprites and and all other code are in binary im having a difficult time finding what determines the color of the sprites. are there common locations in the bin to look for the colors, or are there any tools that can help me find them? I would appreciate any help, thank you.

Hi everyone, I have an idea on a hombrew. I'm purchasing a WII U and the new Smash Bros. just looks great. Iv'e been playing-ish my 2600 (it needs repaired) this morning and I thought of something. What if there was a game where you could be old school arcade and Atari charachters and fight. I'd imagine it'd be the best on a 7800 or Jaguar. 7800 would be easier though. I suck at programming, but my friend could help with this if I decide I really like the idea.

Good question. Answer: it is set up as part of an exhibition called "Erzähl mir was vom Tod" (german for "Let's talk about death"). Sitting right next to a PSone, it's meant to be an example for how Death came into videogames. Let's not argue about if its true or not that Outlaw was one of the first ever games involving death. There is an Atari console set up in the museum where I work!!! How cool is that??? It is a really cool exhibition - not only because of the Atari. Target audience are kids. The exhibition does a pretty good job of introducing the topic of death gently, with tact and sensitivity to children. And while it's at it, it introduces kids to the Atari 2600. Sweet!

I've made this Paper Foldable paper toy based on the Atari game, BERZERK. You can choose your robot colour, download the template and make it here: www.paperfoldables.com/berzerk2600.html Love, Bryan. www.paperfoldables.com

I picked this system up recently but I don't really need it because I already have a Sears Video Arcade II which I like more because of the cool glowing lights. Make an offer. Includes everything in the picture. One set of paddles are the old style with "Atari" on them instead of "Paddle". I guesstimate UPS shipping will be $13.
