  1. These two systems are not perfect, either in functionality or cosmetically. The 7800 has not been tested because the power supply that came with it appears to be dead. It also has a large crack in the case and one of the plastic pins on the cartridge slot has broken off. Other than that, I don't even know if it works. The joysticks have not been tested, but look rough. The 2600 is functional, but has a lot of static in the display. Also, the color around the player objects seems to be puffy. As far as I know, this could be a chip going or the power regulator thingy failing, not entirely sure. The joystick works, but has a large crack in it as well. $25.00 shipped in the usa for both systems and the controllers. If you want these and also would like the dead 7800 power supply, let me know and I'll put that in as well.
  2. There are two prices listed for each title: Loose cart price, and cart with Manual price. Payment by Paypal only. $15 minimum order, please. I am only shipping via USPS Priority mail. Shipping in the U.S. only by USPS Priority flat rate boxes with delivery confirmation. Buyer pays shipping. Priority box prices: Small $6.10 (up to four carts), Medium $12.10 (twenty+ carts), Large $16.20. PM me with the items you want. Please list exactly what you want, just copy it right from the list below. I will reply with a total and paypal address. Please pay within 24 hours (not holding items, thanks!). Prices are firm. 3. I'm going to put my Atari 7800 Collection up for sale. I have the Cuttle Cart 2, so I don't really need it anymore. It's nearly complete, I'm only missing Titlematch Pro Wrestling and the instructions for Kung Fu Master. I also have a few homebrews including the original High Score cart (boxed), Missing in Action, Klax, and the Monitor Cartridge (I also have the Best diagnostic cart and the 32-in-1). My Sentinel cart has also been modded to be NTSC instead of PAL (still in the original case). Everything is complete and in good condition except for Tank Command which has a water stain on the corner of the box. Here's a list of what's still available. One on One - $5
  4. The Atari 7800 usually gets criticized for it's crude sound. I know I have made my fair share of comments about it. The Atari 7800 uses the same TIA sound as the Atari VCS/2600 from 1977. The 2600 usually gets a "pass" on this because -- for it's time -- the TIA sound in the 2600 was pretty good for 1977 home console hardware. But the 7800 came out many years later and uses the same TIA sound. Although the 7800 was able to take advantage of the better in-cartridge POKEY sound, only a couple games did so. I want to look at the positive side of what the TIA is capable of from good programming. So I will start off with a few games for the 2600 & 7800 that have decent/good sound. Try to keep this about the game sound effects & music -- not weather the game sucks or not. Just off the top of my head..... Atari 2600: Smurf Rescue, Jungle Hunt, Kangaroo, Dig Dug. Atari 7800: Xevious, Ms. Pacman, Food Fight, Dig Dug, Galaga. There are many others, but it's late and I can't think of them right now. IMO, those games listed above have decent sound; some quite good. They may not be on-par with most NES games' sound or most POKEY-based carts, but I'd put them on-par with some SMS games, sound-wise. 5. Hello guys, I need 7 titles for Atari 7800, all complete in box. They're not the rarest. I can buy or trade for rare boxed Brazilian Games or even a nice Braz console like the Onyx Junior. I also have about 100 boxed NTSC Games for Atari 2600 including some Tigervision. The games must be shipped to Brazil: Commando Double Dragon Kung-Fu Master Rampage Sentinel Title Match Pro Wrestling Tomcat: The F-14 Fighter Simulator
  6. Hello, I'm new to the forum. I recently completed this project. Built it from scratch. I've converted gutted arcade cabinets in the past, but I never did anything like this before. I think it turned out well. Please take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks!
  7. There is a total of 30 games all loose labels in varying xondition and some duplicates as well. A few boxed one or two cib and one new sealed... Game Genie will be provided along with the needed codes) Also has damage to the back warning label Sonic The Hedgehog (Label damage) Sonic 2 (Complete In Box) Sonic & Knuckles x2 (one has box, but the box is pretty beat up game has closing latch. The other doesn’t but still works) Sonic 3D Blast Arch Rivals (With Box no manual) Strider (Box is taped up, but it could easily be swapped with another genesis game case. No manual. X-men 2: The Clone Wars (with Box no manual Garfield: Caught In the Act (Complete in Box, but missing promo comic) Columns III: Revenge of the Columns (Minor damage to front label) Double Dragon III: The Arcade Game (Minor damage to top of label) Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Stickers on cart) Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (Heavy damage to front label, but works great) Aladdin (Cardboard Box version Complete In Box) Contra Hard Corps (With Box no manual minor damage to the top part of label) Chakan: The Forever Man Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (Heavy fading all over the label) Earthworm Jim Primal Rage (have box and cart holder I thunk) Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures (BRAND NEW CARDBOARD RELEASE) Now I'm wanting around $115 for the lot just because there-are a few "rare" titles, but I'm open to offers. PM me if you have questions or offers or post here. If you're interested in a particular game lemmie know and I'll gave you a price on that specific game. Thanks
  8. I am looking to pick up this game, cart only is just fine. Not critical on condition, just must be playable on NTSC console.
  9. I recently picked up a copy of Pete Rose Baseball along with several other titles from another AA user. Curiously, Pete Rose does not work in my primary unit but it seems to work fine on an earlier model. All of the other Absolute and Activision games work fine on both systems. I know that some 2600 titles will not work on certain 7800 models but this is the first time I've experienced this with a 7800 game. Has anyone else experienced the issue with this or any other 7800 titles? TIA!
  10. Hi everyone, I have an idea on a hombrew. I'm purchasing a WII U and the new Smash Bros. just looks great. Iv'e been playing-ish my 2600 (it needs repaired) this morning and I thought of something. What if there was a game where you could be old school arcade and Atari charachters and fight. I'd imagine it'd be the best on a 7800 or Jaguar. 7800 would be easier though. I suck at programming, but my friend could help with this if I decide I really like the idea.
  11. I'm looking for a mint Cuttle Cart 2 for Atari 7800, tired of waiting for the H2. If you have one for sale please reply with a few pics and a "reasonable" price including shipping to US 97007, thanks

VIRTUAL BOY: (SYSTEM A) 1 full-working system (this means, both sides sound is working, both eyes are fully working properly with NO glitching or glitch lines at all) includes EYE VISOR (see pics for details) & STAND! (includes the classic hairline cracks, still fully functional) & Mario's Tennis (cart only, sorry no dust cover) Also, a controller & AC Adapter unit (PLUG NOT INCLUDED!) All you need to get this working is a Super Nintendo plug or a generic cheap multi-snes plug (the ones that dont work with snes, they still work with virtual boy because it needs less power) Battery pak not included. the visor looks like someone got a tiny spot of paint or something on it, no big deal. also, not gonna lie, this was kept in a smoke-free home for 3 or so years, and the visor still smells of a smoker from the previous owner, it's not bad, but it is noticeable if you're not a smoker. i'd spray it with febreeze, but i have none right now... no big deal really, hardly noticeable. --Asking $115 shipped, and let me stress to you how RARE it is to find a FULLY WORKING virtual boy.. I've owned 13 total virtual boys, most were working fully, about 4 had glitches or one eye not working, leave them alone for 2 years and now about 9 of those have glitches or one eye not working. These things are ticking time bombs, finding a working one is a great accomplishment. I suggest learning how to fix one for the future..... too bad i'm too lazy to do that, otherwise i'd have a lot more fully-working virtual boys up for sale right now. 1 working but glitchy system. (SYSTEM B) SPECIFICS: Previously thought working fine until I tested it for the first time in two years about 2 weeks ago. tested again right now and still glitchy. Left eye working perfectly, Right eye glitches randomly, non-stop. includes controller and AC adapter (NO PLUG) only. AC Adapter is missing the door hinge, but that doesn't affect anything. it looks like the piece where the stand is supposed to go has been either melted a little or like... someone tried to glue a stand to it... still functions normally, you can attach a stand to it if you wish. NO VISOR, STAND OR GAME INCLUDED. http://i42.tinypic.com/wgxhyr.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/211ks92.jpg Asking-- $28 shipped 1 (possibly fully-) working (but possibly glitchy) system. (SYSTEM C) SPECIFICS: Previously thought working perfectly fine until i tested it for the first time in two years about 2 weeks ago then one of the eyes was slightly glitchy.. Now, testing it again just now,the right eye works perfectly, the left eye works fine except possibly very small almost unnoticeable glitch line (i tested with mario's tennis and i could see a small glitch line over mario's face only.) Ok, I left it on for 20 mins and the glitch line disappeared. turned system off, then back on again and it appears to be fully-working now with no glitch-lines. SELLING AS-IS, CAN'T BE SURE IT WON'T GLITCH UP AGAIN. Including 1 controller, AC-Adapter (NO PLUG), Stand base & Stand legs (Re-Make your own stand!) you'll be taking a slight risk on this one, but I'd say you're fine as long as you don't let it sit for a year. --working perfect as of right now. Asking-- $70 Shipped (WILL INCLUDE Mario's Tennis for $5 extra though I am NOT selling this game separately) http://i44.tinypic.c...m/120jj94.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/sp91fb.jpg 1 working, but glitchy system (SYSTEM D) SPECIFICS: Previously thought working perfectly fine until I tested it for the first time in two years about 2 weeks ago then one of the eyes was glitchy and i think the other just didn't work. Now, testing it again, this was actually kind of fun, lol... I made a discovery that the flash of my phone was actually affecting the glitches of the screens! I flashed the right eye and it now works perfectly (possibly one small glitch line), though the left eye is still glitchy, it's funny though because when I flash it, the glitch changes, though I cannot get it working properly. ...ok so now the right eye is slightly more glitchy, but not as bad at the left eye. includes 1 controller, AC adapter (NO PLUG) and original stand base (no legs, see picture-- build your own stand!), no games. AC adapter is missing the original sticker on the back of it, but no big deal there. Asking-- $30 shipped http://i43.tinypic.c...m/11tamia.jpg http://i41.tinypic.com/2vv2srd.jpg all virtual boys sold as-is even though i tested them all, they're just too unreliable of a system. VIRTUAL BOY GAMES: 1) Jack Bros. (NTSC USA version) cart only with dust cover. --Asking $130 shipped (very tiny spot of label damage in bottom corner) -- --SOLD!! 3-D Tetris (USA game) & Nester's Funky Bowling both cart only with dust covers, the dust cover for funky bowling has tiny dents like someone chewed on it, but it works perfectly normal and still protects as it should. --Asking $75 shipped for both or $60 for 3-D Tetris & $25 for Nester's Funky Bowling. http://oi44.tinypic.com/14ucnrr.jpg I HAVE SEVERAL MORE GLITCHY VIRTUAL BOY SYSTEMS FOR SALE, WHICH I WILL GO INTO DETAIL WITH LATER AFTER SOME OF THIS STUFF SELLS, PROBABLY WILL HAVE ANOTHER FULL-WORKING VIRTUAL BOY SYSTEM FOR SALE AS WELL, KEEP WATCH! really in need of some extra money right now, so anything you decide to buy will help me out. I accept PayPal only and will ship to USA peoples. canada peoples, i've never shipped to canada before, i assume it will be more expensive, but if you want to pay more for shipping, i guess we can work something out. I have some games on the way too so looking forward to getting those and have also ordered some of the US style controllers just for completeness Just trying to decide if I should mod it to work with composite outputs or not? Cheers Reliant73

  18. I am very pleased with my system. What do you think maybe this system fun and enjoyable to collect for? Any opinions on things that could have made it better? What are your thoughts on the Genesis and NES? Doesn't it seem a little rushed? Is the library do-able in terms of collecting for? I would like to know where everyone stands on all this

C:\MESS\ROMS): NTSC: a7800.zip PAL: a7800p.zip For those interested in utilizing all the fancy HLSL video options you need these files: hlsl.zip The hlsl.zip file you need to unzip and place the folder in the MESS root folder (I.E. Of course, you may place you game images anywhere, but need to configure MESS accordingly.

  24. Maybe this is a common and well known thing, but I'm wondering what is going on with my copies of Solaris on my 7800. I bought a loose copy at a flea market a bunch of years ago, and then bought a boxed copy online awhile later. I took the boxed copy out and plugged it into my non-expansion port 7800 I used back then, and it didn't work at all. Luckily, the loose copy did, so I put that in the box, and dropped the broken one into a drawer, just so I'd have it if I wanted to put the boxed set back together. Anyway, fast forward to me buying a soldering kit and needing carts to practice on. I wasn't sure if the one in the box was the good one or bad one anymore, so I took them both out to try them. Now, my current 7800 is a different one since my old one broke (something I am hoping learning to solder will fix), with an expansion port. And both Solaris games work now, sort of. However, the old "broken" cart has different colours than the other one. Here are both games (colours may be off a little because of the cheap camera and the cheap TV), but this is pretty much how it looks. What is going on here, and why was one completely useless on one console and only kind of strange on the other?
