Anyword about Volume 2, 3 and 4 coming out? I just heard about this book last week

So I had problems with my 2600 so I decided to try my hand at the AV Mod. I did all the work, it doesn't look great but I hoped it would work, but it didn't. Is anyone able to see what I did wrong and if I can fix it? https://imgur.com/a/xY43JRJ

Hello Everyone, I have a few games I wanted to post for sale on here prior to posting them on ebay so that someone who wants them can enjoy them. There are games in box and loose. None of the games have been tested since last use. If anyone is interested in any of the games, PM me and let me know what you would be interested in and what you would want to pay. I have controllers and consoles available as well that also have not been tested. I can provide more detailed images per request. Thanks!

I’ve recently come across an in box copy of Video Life by CommaVid and I’m hoping someone will have some information about the value of the game along with how I can go about selling it. I’ve seen projected values of the game ranging from $2500 to $10,000, however many of these articles are old and I’m hoping to get an updated value of the game on the current market. The box and cartridge are both in great condition, but I am missing the game manual. Any help as to how I should move forward with selling the game would be greatly appreciated.

I was originally going to make keep this as a mini Atari art project to see how many levels I could remake from Super Mario World in Bb, until I realized that more of the game was re-create-able than I thought(if I use tricks like making the game in separate roms giant file sized PS1 game style). Right now, these are just the levels with not much point(no enemies, powerups ect) and Iggy/Bowser can't hurt you. I posted the pictures on a status update of the stand-alone levels. Though I'll link these again https://imgur.com/a/f0KpE2k I'll also list the levels percentage completed : Bowser Boss - %30 complete(cannot harm each other, and starts off in a blank space until you press left/right) Iggy Boss - %50 complete(no collision with lava, or the boss, no way to attack) Yoshi's House - %100 complete(this was a useless level in the original and same will be here) Top Secret Area - %95 complete(no power-ups) Yoshi's Island 2 - %10 complete(level map done, nothing else) Yellow Switch Palace - %99 complete(needs a level end). Star Road 2 - %40 complete(lacks enemies, level completion, and gravity). Star Road 3 - %10 complete(just the level map done). As for the rest, of everything. Due to Nintendo's strictness with Mario(and their IPs in general) the project will not be finished past this point . If Nintendo does see this. I will take down these roms by any Nintendo rep's request. I will share these for now though. 1978 Atari Heavy Sixer Complete in Box. Made in Sunnyvale. Early enough that it doesn't have a Channel Select Switch, late enough that it has the Channel Select Switch cutout and verbiage on the bottom of the console. Serial number 20657J. I tested the console and it displays a *beautiful* picture and plays games. However, I could not get any sound. I don't have the know-how to fix it, which is the primary reason I'm selling it. Could be as simple as a bad trace/solder point or a cap or two that need replacing. Additionally, the TV Type Switch does not respond to commands but outputs beautifully in color. As far as I know, all of the original packaging, inserts and accessories that came with this console at retail in 1978 are included in this bundle. Here's everything you get: - Atari "Heavy Sixer" Console. In great shape cosmetically overall. - Original Atari Gray power supply. Works perfectly. Comes in its original box. Box top flap is torn but still fits on top where it should reasonably well. - Two original CX-10 joysticks. One works as it should while the other only responds to left, up, and fire commands. Comes in original cardboard cutout. - Two original paddles in Paddle-specific box. They seem extremely consistent/smooth in operation and not loose, which often means jittery operation, but I didn't have a paddle game handy to test paddle gameplay. - Combat CIB *Gatefold* - VCS Owner's Manual - VCS Warranty Registration Card - VCS Warranty Registration Card Addendum x2 - Atari mailing list card for new game announcements - Original inner box/cardboard - Original outer box (mostly sealed at one end). Has wear but in good shape overall. Asking $225 shipped OBO (more on eBay). Would also be happy to meet up in the Philadelphia area, which would easily drop this below $200. Hard to get a proper valuation on these, as not too many complete Heavy Sixers are sold on eBay. Please let me know if you have any questions. Shoot me a PM with q's and interest. Thanks. Disclaimer: this is cross-listed on eBay, AA Marketplace Facebook and Facebook Marketplace. Forgive me for not making this an AA forum exclusive ?

Anyone stateside collect PAL for 7800 or will I be shipping these overseas? Free shipping to the US; worldwide I'll eat a portion of the shipping costs. Mario Bros. Planet Smashers Motor Psycho Impossible Mission I also have H.E.R.O. for the 2600 (PAL), which comes with the manual and a high-quality scan plastic case. If these were NTSC, I'd make triple this! Oh well... All games have been cleaned and tested and are assuredly PAL format despite only two of them having the "P" stickers on the back. Please see the pictures for an exact condition of everything. Looking for $35 OBO for the four (4) 7800 games as a lot (would consider splitting up) and $35 OBO for HERO w/manual and custom plastic case. Shoot me a PM to chat further and finalize things. Cheers.

Looking to find a copy of Desert Bus for the Atari 2600 and Intellivision systems. I can't seem to find much about the Atari 2600 version besides outdated links that usually end in error 404s, and I did see that the Intellivision copy is for sale on ebay at the time of this post, but I would prefer a cheaper option as that one is $40 PLUS $15 shipping.

Hi We are making a platformer game with jetpack in metroidvania genre. There is a downloadable game made with UE4 in just 5 days. We hope to hear your feedback on how to improve this game. It's very fun to play and a bit challenging at the moment! This game inspired by Atari 2600 game Hero. Hero was a game about a hero rescuing trapped miners. We are two brothers just started making games. We had nearly a month of self training with Unreal Engine and then made this game for unreal game jam a few days ago. You can download it here. BERZERK2000 new SuperCharger game comming soon! Description: BERZERK2000 is not a direct port of BERZERK but rather an inspired interpretation of the genre featuring a dayglow panoramic arena with awsome pixel art animation from Pacman Red! Gameplay: BERZERK2000 is simple to play but difficult to master with surprising and intriguing elements to the fun! Special Weapons: This game gives you Special Weapons with reflecting 8-way shots like in Discs of Tron or Mr Do that will sometimes also bend physics behaving more like Captain America's sheild - your shots can get stuck in walls, make it through walls, explode in a scatter pattern when enemies are struck and/or deflect and continue to do damage. Be careful though, the enemies have these weapons too: Availability: BERZERK 2000 will be part of an exclusive world-wide release in 2020 SuperCharger preview of BERZERK2000 loading from tape:

I’ve recently been looking through the Box of my copy of Empire strikes back for the 2600 and found this game listed alongside of the Ewok adventure game in an ad (sorry for the bad picture, I couldn’t find the time to snap another). It seems to be the sister game to Ewok adventure since it’s listed as „Game II“ and Ewok Adventure is listed as „Game I“. Anyway I got curious and tried to do some research but couldn’t find anything. So I wanted to ask if anyone has ever seen this game before? It has obviously been canceled with Ewok adventure, but I just want to know if anyone has ever heard of it.

An Atari 2600 game called Fire! that supposedly involved setting fire to things first appeared on some of the original collectors lists of unreleased Atari games that began circulating on the net in the late 1990s and early 2000s including this one. I often wondered about this game myself, as it also appeared in the Rumor Mill section of the Digital Press Guide... https://www.digitpress.com/video-game-guide/?mode=GameInfo&gameid=24691 No one seemed to know much about the game. I remember contacting Joe Santulli of Digital Press years ago and asking him about it but he had no idea either. I never really believed that the game existed in the first place but I was intrigued and curious enough to want to know how the rumors surrounding this game started. I started digging into this mystery a bit recently after noticing that someone had posted about it here on the forums. By searching newspapers from 1982-84, I was able to find that the likely original source for the rumored existence of such a game is a snippet from a January 1984 article about collectible and controversial video games that appeared in the St. Petersburg Times (and likely other newspapers as well)... "Fire! likewise generated protests because the "hero" here had to enter a building, set it afire with kerosene, and then escape before the blazing building collapsed. The game from Palmtex was short-lived." https://www.newspapers.com/image/320819914/ However, I believe no such game ever existed and the writer of that article was either confused or simply misinformed. The only game resembling this description is a 1982 game released for the Apple II by Muse Software called Firebug that did involve starting fires and likely did generate controversy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firebug_(video_game) Palmtex was a manufacturer of electronic games that was the original distributor of the Nintendo Game & Watch series of handhelds (including Fire) in North America. The writer of that 1984 article was probably thinking of the game Firebug by Muse but mistakenly identified it as Fire by Palmtex. The rumored Atari game is thus the result of a case of mistaken identity involving memories from two unrelated games being combined into one. Needless to say, collectors can strike this one from the rumor mill.

[Download the files attached to this post, as they are the most recent] Hi! I am glad to present a new game developed by me. As I know is one of the few homebrew that uses the keyboard controllers, and in this case my game uses both! The game is technically done, but if you find bugs, report them to me in this thread. Enjoy Plot: Your Laser Orbital Cannon control panel is a pair of keyboard controllers that has all the coordinates of the map. Press a key when you think that an enemy is in that coordinate: A screenshot of the game The keys on the keyboard controllers represent a quadrant on the screen You start with 4 lives, each live has a current status bar. You lose a portion of the status bar when a terrorist vehicle crosses the border. When the status bar decreases to 0, you lose a live. When you lose all 4 lives, the game ends. The screen when you lose all lives. The initial game screen Make sure to plug both keyboard controllers in the console jacks before starting any game. Press the reset button once you plug the keyboard controllers in order to start the game. Press any key from the left keyboard controller to start another game when you lose Press the reset button on a started game to reset the current game. There's an easter egg to find. Clue: you can find it in a similar way like in Drone Wars... ROM FILES PAL VERSION: Laser_keyboardPAL60.bin NTSC VERSION: Laser_keyboardNTSC.bin I highly recommend the use of real keyboards instead of using only the pc keyboard in stella for a better experience. That's everything you need to start playing the game. Feel free to post your comments about this game!

Hello Hopefully someone more experienced can help me with my Atari 2600 problem: I fell in love with the Atari VCS last year when I got a Flashback 8 Gold HD. Finally I bought a real Atari VCS (Darth Vader, NTSC version) on eBay a couple of weeks ago. It was allready modded to A/V output by the previous owner. Unfortunately it shows some heavy jittering/shaking when using paddle games. First I carefully cleaned the Paddle pots but this didn't help (and it happens with other controllers as well). During cleaning I accidentally found out that jittering will stop as long as I touch the bare cable which is soldered to the circular resistor with my hands. Because there was a loose connection within the power supply I bought a new power adaptor but this did not affect this jittering problem. I am not a technician but I guess if something simple like touching an electrical contact can stop this jittering it might be fixable. I added a Youtube video which shows the problem and some pictures of the paddle and mainboard. On the paddle picture I point with a screwdriver to the sensitive/touchy contact. The red circle on the mainboard picture shows the corresponding electric solder bump on the board - touching this point with my hand will stop jittering as well. Because it is not that easy to get an NTSC Atari in Germany (without ordering from the USA) it would be great if I could repair this unit. I will be very grateful if someone could help me with some educated guesses or hints how to solve this problem Youtube link:
