I got this for free from an ebay seller and I'd like to pass it on. It looks to be turn of the century so it should run on 98 and above. There are some cool videos on there too, but I'm going to about getting those posted so everyone can enjoy them. Taker pays the shipping cost. First PM gets it. We will figure out the shipping cost based on your location, but should be around $6 in the US.

The latest in our Video History Series The Evolution of Atari ST Vertical Flying Shooters Part 3 1989 A rising tide? In 1989 two significant things happened in the history of Atari ST vertical shooters: First, Xenon 2 was released, which is considered by many to be the best shooter of all time on the ST, and also Shoot ‘em Up Construction Kit or SEUCK was hit the market. The other games we have to look at are relatively unique, at least as far a unique can go in this genre, but overall it was not a great year for ST vertical shooters in terms of quantity, but what was released was a step up visually and technically from the average in 1988. Part 1 - Early Years: https://youtu.be/J4XJ9YS3PbI Xenon 2 Pod Cast https://intotheverticalblank.com/2022/07/04/s5e3-xenon-2-and-the-atari-st-halcyon-days-of-1989-part-1/

Due to recent celebrations of the 50 years anniversary of Atari, I have discovered some interesting games for the VCS 2600, so I've decided to do some ports for our beloved TI99. 🙂 The first game is NUTS (AKA Fox & Goat) from TechnoVision. It was released in 1983 in a 8K cart. It seems that there is also an hacked version, called Fox & Goat. I've tried to create a version that looks and feels like a real conversion of the game done in 80s. You can dowload and play it right now (please, read first the Read_Me_First!.txt file in the archive). Since I know that you guys like physical SSS carts, we are working with Greg at arcadeshopper ( @arcadeshopper) to provide a "Collector's Edition", with cart labels, manual and a special version of the game. This special version will have, in addition, a different color schema (similarly to the hacked version) and the ability to add the typical graphical glitches of Atari 2600 games (the black lines at the left of the screen). Of course, this effect looks better if using a CRT screen. Have a lot of fun & Happy Easter! NUTS_TI99_by_TMOP.mp4 FOX&GOAT_TI99_by_TMOP.mp4 Nuts V1.1 (AKA Fox&Goat) (2023)(by TMOP).zip

If, like me, Atari was the most exciting thing seen in a long while back in 1981, then catching the Maplin Atari roadshow was essential. Here we could see (and play!) with the best computers around at the time. A number of venues were given including Manchester and Birmingham. I attended the one in Birmingham and was amazed. I still remember that evening vividly. Anyway, back to the present day, I always wondered when and where in Birmingham it was since I am charting my Atari journey. By pure chance, I came across the advert that must have sparked my interest. It featured in Personal Computer World November 1981 (available from archive.org). Here is the ad in all its glory and at least I can put that long-standing mystery to bed. Who knows, someone else may have been wondering the same question (doubtful) but it's here as another bit of our Atari heritage. Hoorah!

I might as well discuss my plans for Lynx homebrews. -Snáwcild (Think of this as a better Ninja Gaiden 3 than the one that the Lynx actually got. As in nicer-looking sprites and sound.) -Zenithian Micro (Mega Man X with bits of Kirby Super Star.) -The Agathodaimon Mini -At least one space shooter/shmup. (Vertical/Tate mode will be supported.) -Red Wolf (FPS/Adventure) -At least one Middanyeard game. (Will be better than Viking Child.) -RC Car Combat. -Possible Castlevania clone -Gyaru Knight (G'nG clone with a wacky twist.)

Though I've posted about my channel and videos before, I figured keeping a central place in one thread would make more since. While I have done more videos than I will likely ever post in here, I thought it would be good to start off with my 40th official video for my channel and to start off April right. I present my unboxing and game play review for the Neo Games home-brew release of the limited boxed edition of Spies in the Night for the Atari 2600! Enjoy and thank you for watching!

I have a working 400/800 Epyx Jumpman Junior PCB without a shell. I am looking for a shell that will hold it. It is the smallest cart PCB I have ever seen at just 40mm X 45mm. Does anyone have a black shell that would hold this? OR Can anyone 3D print such a cart shell?

I tried looking up topics for this, the only thread I could find was from almost ten years ago so in the interest of not necroposting I thought I would start a new thread. Does anyone else have any Atari tats, or gaming tats in general? I've got one, it's my first tattoo and I'm looking forward to getting more!

Looking to buy a working and complete Atari VCS / 2600 store (POP) kiosk brain box. I think that is what it was called. Essentially it is the metal caged box (not unlike what can be found housing the game pcb in Atari coin ops) with the pcb that has VCS / 2600 games programs on it, the Atari power supply, the three black Cherry push button selector and start switches and the needed wiring harness to connect it to the control panel on the kiosk. The whole unit slides in below the shelf that supports a standard crt tv and behind the control panel. I would also be open to considering buying the whole kiosk with it. Some kiosks had them some didn’t. All of the Atari VCS / 2600 kiosks had the place for them in it. Thank you, Mike.
