  1. This is the latest version of the Intellivision variant Database as of April 30 2023. Please only Box information related to the original 125, as this will make it easier to sort new information. There are other forums for all the Home brew games. Thanks in advance, and to all those that have participated in the original 125 line up information. edit: removed out dated file
  2. I was looking on eBay a couple of weeks ago. I don't even remember how I found these now. But I noticed these 2600 boxes in a mixed loose and boxed lot. The artwork on the silver boxes caught my eye as they were not what my brain would normally associate with those titles. The Galaxian art seemed familiar but I couldn't place it. There were no pictures of the backs of the boxes in the listing. I did some googling and came up with nothing. Searched Atari Mania, nothing. So I went all in and won the auction. They arrived and I was very excited when I saw the backs of the boxes. It turns out I should have recognized the Pole Position art as a variation of it was used on the 5200 box. @Ballblaɀer also pointed out to me that the Galaxian box appeared in an issue of Atari Age magazine in 1983. Also Tim Lapetino pointed out on my FB post that he came across the Galaxian art when he was researching his Art of Atari book, but it didn't make the cut. I am very happy to have these in my collection now. The promo boxes were in amazing condition for being printed in 1982 & 1983. The boxes did have standard copies of Galaxian & PP carts an manuals inside. My guess these were added by someone along the way. The rest of the carts in the lot were in amazing condition and the Kaboom box was missing the cart. An odd lot for sure. Enjoy.
  3. I was a bit bored in lockdown and for a while I've been wanting to do something for my loose 2600 carts. I decided to try some custom mini boxes just big enough for the carts. I wanted to include the key info you're missing without the manual. The front is the original box artwork. One side has 1 or 2 Player icons. The other side has basic controls and the rear has difficulty switches, game modes, tips etc. Just wanted to throw them out there and see what people think
  4. hi guys I make Atari 2600 vcs reproduction console boxes plus repro game boxes. All retyped with all original fonts, retouched and professionally assembled from scratch with no scans or jpegs used. They're all on my etsy shop. Take a look and spread the word if you can. Thanks! https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/boxingatari
  5. Yeah, so, I thought it would be fun to pick apart or give credit to bad, good or excellent game art. I started this over on Lemon64 but no takers so I thought I might bring it here, to a wider audience who might have fun with it. To kick off, I think John McEnroe here might be better off with an actual Tennis Racket rather than the Frying Pan he seems to be holding.
  6. I got a good sized collection so far even got some rare stuff. Rockin the Vader cus it’s the best vcs in my opinion.
  7. Golden era shelf in my game collection. Got some cool new additions like Rubiks Cube and Silver label Gravatar for the 2600.
  8. They look nice but is there any point in purchasing them. Some people are like why pay so much for old cardboard so they go for reproduction boxes.
  9. Hey, everybody. I have a question regarding Apollo's box variants, specifically about the red boxes. From what I've seen, Apollo had two versions of its red boxes. The main difference I've noticed is with regard to the Apollo logo which appears on the bottom-left corner of the box cover, as well as on the back of the box. In one variant, the word "APOLLO" appears in red, and in the other, it appears in orange. My question is, which one of these came first? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help.
  10. Hi guys, my name is Grazi and I'm from Brazil. Here in Brazil it's really difficult for collectors to find original game boxes, and when we find one it's not always in good conditions. So people love to buy repro boxes for their games, and the closer of the original, the better! The thing is, i'm moving to US and I would like to continue this work, but I'm still getting into your culture, so I would like to know if you guys like this kind of work, if you use to buy it, etc.. how do you like it? I already made game boxes for: Sega Genesis, SNES, NES, ATARI, N64, MASTER SYSTEM, GBA, GBC. And now I have this project of start making consoles/handhelds boxes also. You can see in the image below that I'm working on a GBC Yellow box, 100% vectorized (except the screenshots), and now I'm treating the background image in Photoshop. So I think the result will be really nice!!! I used to make repro boxes a long time ago, like this: (this material is different from what I'm using now) And this is an exemple of the new material I found: Now, few years later, I have studied Graphic Designer and I'm able to make a better job, because now I can improve the image so much more too. Just remembering, the images are not downloaded from websites and printed, they receive a long Photoshop treatment, and many icons and texts are all new (vector). So I would really appreciate if you guys could give some feedback of what you would like to see in terms of REPRO BOXES, like, 100% loyal to the original, custom version, etc. Just tell me
  11. What is it that you would most like to have but you hadn't seen any for sale yet? One item I think should be made is big specific storage and display cases for each system. Many of us have large collections but need a better way to show off our favorite games. I would love to have large slotted cases designed for certain size cartridges. Nice wooden or plastic racks holding about 100 games would be just great. Another product I would buy in a heartbeat is something designed to clean the contacts on your old school gaming cartridges. They already make those to insert into your Nintendo with cleaning solutions for the consoles & game cartridges. Why the heck hasn't anyone designed one for the Atari, Intellivision, Colecovision etc? What about a cleaning tool, pad, or device that would work on all the smaller hand held gaming units as well? Let's hear your thoughts & ideas on something which you think is needed within the gaming community but you just can't find it in stores or online anywhere.
  12. Was wondering if anyone had good clear pics or scans of: Tower Of Doom - back of box Triple Challenge - front and back of box Intellivision II individually sold hand controller box - any/all sides Thank you for any help that can be provided. These are the kind of things I'm never going to have if I don't make them for myself, lol
  13. I'm in the market for boxes for a few of my colecovision games Illusions Root Beer Tapper Donkey Kong Spy Hunter and about 10 others. i'd like to know if anyone has good to VERY good condition boxes that they'd sell or trade OR if there is someone who can make these boxes as they were back then...today.
  14. Dreadnaught Frogger II Gremlins Gyruss HERO Joust Jungle Hunt Kangaroo Keystone Kapers Mario Bros Megamania Miner 2049'er Monetzumas Revenge Moon Patrol Ms Pac Man Pengo Pitfall! Popeye Rescue on Fractalus Space Dungeon Star Trek Star Wars The Arcade Super Cobra Vanguard I do have just a couple duplicate 5200 games or I do have some 7800 games from loose to NIB. Beyond that I have duplicate NES, N64, SMS, and common 2600 games. Otherwise paypal works too. I am fine with loose carts, just looking to complete the set! I do not have much feedback here, but I have lots on nintendoage or ebay.
  15. Just like the title says. I'm trying to get my N64 library complete in box, so I'm on the hunt for CIBs, or just the box and/or manual. If you have any N64 CIBs, Boxes, or Manuals, Shoot me a message with a few photos of what you have, as well as an asking price, and we can work out a deal. Thanks! EDIT: Only looking for NTSC titles
  16. Marc O. hasn't listed them on his site. Do some exist and who is offering them?
  17. Often the Japanese Super Famicom game covers are much different than the North American Super Nintendo covers. In this video I show and compare different covers. It’s East vs West! Does anybody collect Super Famicom games here?
  18. Hello all, I'm looking for these various empty atari 2600 game boxes for sale. PM me if you have any of these and we can work something out. 19. Happy New Year! Hope everyone has recovered by now! I received a minty "Chase the Chuck Wagon" cart for Christmas and wanted to see if anyone was looking to sell a box and/or manual? Also looking for boxes for Atari Video Cube, Room of Doom, and a manual only for Exocet. If you have any of these and are looking to sell or trade, please contact me. Thanks!
  20. Hello Everyone! As a few of you already know, I have a massive amount of Atari 2600 games and accessories. I've been looking to sell them off for some time now and I believe it's time for a dedicated thread! So over the next week I'll be listing everything I have in this thread, I am going to organize it by manufacturer and then by variation and I will have separate sections for carts, manuals and boxes. If I have something CIB, I'd be willing to sell the individual parts separately or all together, but will list them separately. I will also have joysticks, paddles, systems and miscellaneous 2600 related items like comics or posters here as well. Numbers in (parenthesis) will indicate how many I have of said item. Anything in [brackets] will be additional information about the item that's not already self-evident and anything in {braces} are additional information unrelated to the [bracketed] information. I will also put cross-outs through items which I'm holding for someone and remove anything that's been sold. I don't really want to get into the extra time of pricing everything so if you're interested in something, post here or pm me and I will respond with High-Res pictures and a price, which would be negotiable as anything is only worth what someone will pay for it. I am also open to trade for just about anything and everything, even non video game stuff. All games are tested and in working condition with top and end labels intact. You can get as many or as few items as you want, even just one. I will ship anywhere, in anyway you want, no matter how big or small an order. As long as you pay the correct shipping. I prefer PayPal gifts so there are no fees, but if that's not possible it will cost a slight bit more to cover the fees, but not much. *THIS LIST IS STARTING SMALL BUT WILL GROW RAPIDLY OVER THE NEXT WEEK AND ONWARDS* *I WILL BUMP THE THREAD AND CHANGE THE DATE IN THE TITLE WHENEVER I ADD THINGS TO THE LIST* Cartridges Atari Text Label 1. 22. Hi all, Just wanted to let any interested parties know that I've decided to sell my working ColecoVision ADAM computer system. If you want to take a look at the auction, you can see it here: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 150878786379 Thanks, and take it easy... Lou
  23. Hello fellow Colecovites and Colecovisioneers, Looking at who may be interested in having authentically remastered, high-quality replacement cardboard boxes for their collecting appeal. At this time I have one flavor available, Donkey Kong. I wanted to start more or less chronologically, and DK is a good candidate due to its limited box availability. These are 100% re-rendered, 600 dpi color laser images transferred onto boxes made from high-density, 180 lb. semi-gloss card stock. They are Made in the U.S.A. and 100% "home-brewed" by yours truly. There are only a few minor details that differ from the original box--the main one being an actual screenshot of game play on the back side--rather than the original artist's rendering of the level 1 screen. If I gather enough interest from the AA Colecovision community, I'll start taking names. I hope everyone is having a very Colecovisionesque December so far. Cheers to you all! Greg
