  1. So I've got 32X once again and my life is filled with the joy of 32-bit power and Virtua things, but I can't help but wonder if I could get a slightly better picture out of my 32X with a nice thickly shielded composite cable instead of the el-cheapo generic Genesis Model 2 composite cable I have been using. I definitely don't want to drop a ton of money on a SCART cable and RGB converter box, I'm perfectly happy with using composite on my 480i CRT TV (though my TV does have component inputs too so that would be an option if there was an affordable component cable out there that does 480i), I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good Genesis 2 / 32X composite cable that's a bit more heavy duty and more nicely shielded than the generic ones you find on eBay? I had looked at Retro-Bit's Genesis 2 / 32X composite cable on Amazon but a couple reviewers mentioned that it doesn't actually output proper stereo sound, so I thought I'd ask around here for other recommendations. Any advice would be be appreciated.
  2. I ended up getting two copies of Tanglewood, one that I opened and have enjoyed playing over the last few months and one that I left sealed, and I've decided to put the sealed copy up for sale or trade. SOLD!
  3. My first eBay listing in about 20 years! I have a big collection of games, action figures, and other toys that will eventually make their way to eBay but I am testing the waters with this listing first. [ebay]143110245067[/ebay] Thanks for looking!
  4. The new game of Alain Prudhomme (Vetea) for Sega Genesis / Mega Drive is on the way! Bomb on Basic City Special Edition has a lots of improvements, new levels, enhanced graphics, two player mode, zombie mode, etc. And a demo of Papi Commando Tennis is offered on the same cartridge as a bonus! Bomb On Basic City is published by Côté Gamers, a French editor who has already published different games: Knight'n More on ColecoVision and Escape 2042 on Atari ST. More to come in the next months, on different machines too ! Don't wait to preorder it, the delay is really short, until tomorrow evening for American people. Of course, there will be few copies left after the delay but don't really count on this: there will only around 10 copies left. Please note that the edition has two box labels and two cartridge stickers, for NTSC and PAL versions and a great little book about the makingof! Also a free playable demo is placed on the official website, you can download it and test yourself a part of the game. The preorder page is the following one (direct link): https://goo.gl/1CxWey Here are the details with this image:
  5. I have figured out a way to use adapters and a powered USB hub to get Sega Master System and Genesis controllers compatible with the Colecovision 2 button games. In the presentation I use the controllers to play Rock 'N Rope, Space Fury, Cosmic Avenger, and HERO. The adapters and cables used are not hard to locate online, so this can be accomplished by anyone who'd want to get their favorite controllers fully compatible. Check it out, and subscribe to my channel for more controller fun:
  6. All prices are in U.S, funds, but I will gladly accept the equivalent in Canadian funds. Payment by paypal. All prices included shipping to mainland U.S. and Canada by Canada Post. I will not ship to other countries within the Americas. Shipping overseas with tracking & insurances costs hundreds of dollars. I will ship overseas untracked if you pay the difference in shipping, payment is made by paypal "gift" and you want to take the risk. I've sent many packages to Europe this way and none have been lost, but it can take a couple months to arrive. Red Famicom Twin system with newer belt and NESRGB, games and Sansuii pad: $400 shipped I can add the matching Famicom Everdrive pictured below for $80 The belt was supposed to have been replaced not long before I bought the system a few years ago, but I haven't spent many hours playing FDS games using the actual disk drive. Working Disk games load fast and work flawlessly. I've already sold most of the working FDS games I had. Zelda loads side A fine, but gets Error 27 loading side B. Galaxy Odyssey loads side A fine, but gets Error 27 loading side B. I have tried the audio cassette. Kiki Kikkai works fine. Kid Icarus works fine. The weird disk with different stickers on either side and the Castlevania case does not work. http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(1).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(2).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(3).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(4).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(5).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(6).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(7).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(.JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(9).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(10).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(11).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(12).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(13).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(14).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(15).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(16).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(17).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(18).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin.JPG PC-FX $175 shipped http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(1).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(2).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(3).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(4).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(5).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(6).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(7).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(.JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(9).JPG Neo Geo CD system with AES stick and 4 games $300 shipped I can include an 8-way gate and arcade ball top if you like. 7. Today I have some relatively new information on a $17 controller adapter that you can obtain on Ebay that, when combined with a PC 15 pin gameport to Atari 5200 controller adapter (like the one currently being made by bohoki) will get your Atari 2600, Sega Master System, and Sega Genesis controllers working on your 5200. What's extra awesome about this is that the Sega controllers have compatibility with the two button games, and this is what the Masterplay Clone enables. (Unfortunately, no one is currently producing the Masterplay Clone for purchasing, though.) Here is the Ebay link to the product: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Amiga-Atari-Amstrad-Commodore-DB9-9Pin-Joystick-to-15Pin-Port-support-Usb-Adpt/272348471848?hash=item3f693be228:g:Df4AAOSwUd9aaMnL I've ordered adapters from this Ebay seller, Ikonsgr74, since 2015 and can vouch for his top-notch workmanship. He will not disappoint you. I have some additional good news: The Atari 2600 Trakball works with it to play the digital games that may be worth a try on the 5200. I have tried it with Gyruss, Ballblazer, and Galaxian with nice control results- especially Gyruss. The trakball unfortunately doesn't work with the analog-only games like Missile Command, Tempest, Star Wars Arcade, and Super Breakout. For two button digital games like Defender and Dreadnaught Factor, the Sega Sportspad (which is a trackball) also works great. If you have a couple of Camerica NES products (The receiver for the "Freedom Stick" with Genesis cables and the "Freedom Connection" transmitter device) you can add those adapters and get your NES controllers working on the 5200. I have enjoyed playing with my NES Starmaster joystick and NES Max gamepad on games like Dig Dug and Defender. In fact, on Defender, the Star Master joystick helped me to get my best ever score of around 89,000. That joystick has a very satisfying 'click' for each direction it is tilted- though it's not actually a microswitch-laden joystick like the Quickshot II Plus. Hard to describe, but it's just a perfect joystick and I'm very grateful to be able to use it to play my favorite 5200 games. I've detected no lag by the way, so that's good... Also there's a way to connect the 8bitdo NES Retro Receiver to the 5200 via the two adapters (and Camerica NES products and NES Fourscore) and play your 5200 digital games wirelessly with the controllers it's compatible with: The Dual Shock 4, Dual Shock 3, Wii Remote, and Wii U Pro Controller. I've tested it and had great success just last evening. Hope you enjoy the info. Special thanks to Swami for being the 1st guinea pig to try out Ikonsgr74's newly revised controller adapter on the 5200 (via being added to the bohoki adapter). I'm definitely grateful for learning about this from you.
  8. I've been feeling the itch to swap out the 3/4 motherboard VA3 Model 2 Genesis that I have in my game center at the moment for a Model 1 system like I had as a kid, so I figured I'd ask around here to see if anyone had one in really nice shape that they'd be up for selling. To be specific, I'm looking for one of two versions of the Model 1 Genesis system. The first is the version with the "High Definition Graphics" text on top and the TMSS start-up screen, which looks like this when you power it on with a game inserted: The second version I'd be interested in in a Model 1 Genesis without the "High Definition Graphics" text on top as long as it has the EXT port on the back, which looks like this: Price wise I'm looking to pay around $45 shipped for a barebones system with just the console and official Sega power supply but I am open to negotiation and would be willing to go higher for a flawlessly pristine condition system. Thanks much and just shoot me a PM if you'd like to do business.
  9. Rockman and Mega Man games, Japanese imports, complete in box games, bargain hunting, gaming magazines, trading cards, travel vlogs, I've got it all! http://www.youtube.com/user/mmf187
  10. Just like the title says, I'm looking for one of these little doodads: Must include the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive Model 2 adapter plate and be in nice condition with all the white lettering intact and the dust cover hinges undamaged, and working properly of course. If anyone has one they'd like to sell I'm offering $100 USD + postage for it via PayPal, and I will pay the cost for international shipping from Europe or Australia to the United States if needed. Thanks for taking the time to view my post and just send me a PM if you have a Master System Converter II that you'd be up for selling.

Price: $8 Books The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past & The Four Swords Strategy Guide This may be my longest owned gaming related item. I've had this one on my bookshelf since I bought it new at Borders books when it first came out many long years ago, and it's definitely seen some use. The covers have a good amount of wear but all pages are present an accounted for. Price: $6 Pokémon Black & White 2 Official Pokedex In good shape with only minor wear. All pages are very clean, though the poster that original came with it was lost somewhere along the line. Price: $5 Misc. Goodies More pictures in spoiler tag below! 17. My local Walmart is known for being horribly behind when it comes to toys and games. most of the time, their stock is 6 months to a year behind the Walmart 30 minutes from here. They also tend to skip waves when it comes to toys, making it really annoying to collectors and children. On to why I'm posting... I went to Walmart today and as I was passing the electronics, I happened to look down the video game isle and something caught my eye. They had the Atari Flashback portable, the Genesis Portable and Genesis Flashback, along with the Atari Flashback 8. I was amazed that they had these, since I've NEVER seen any of the retro systems here. I know the Atari Flashback Portable has been around for a while, but I'm not sure about the others. I know this doesn't seem like something really important, but knowing how horrible this Walmart is, I was really surprised. What makes this Walmart such a horrible store is the fact that we have a Distribution Center right here in town, yet nothing is ever stocked when it gets released. I'll give you an example, I collect Transformers. Like most other toy lines, they get released in waves. Let's say wave1 gets released in January in the next town. It may be May or June before it shows up here and that may be the only wave that ever shows up, since the next line starts before this Walmart ever gets the second wave in. This isn't just an issue in the toys, it's also the same in the electronics and games. The only thing they seem to stay up to date on are the Blue-rays. Even the PS4 games are late. So, I just wanted to share my amazement that something fairly interesting had shown up at "the Walmart that time forgot".
  18. Hi All, A strange issue has developed with my Model 2 Sega Genesis. Under most circumstances, the Sega system seems to think that the "up" button on controller 1 is being perpetually pressed. However there is one very specific circumstance where it works correctly. It will work correctly if I have a 3 button controller in the first port and a 6 button controller in the second port. Only in this specific configuration will it work correctly, and these are genuine Sega controllers. If I swap the controllers or have only one controller connected or even no controller connected, perpetual "up." Any ideas? Is there any chance I am damaging anything continuing to play it since it does seem to work in that configuration? --DiscoDr.Bones
  19. Hi all... VERY VERY long shot here, but i'm looking to put some of my systems away and want to get the boxes they originally came in. I'm looking for... SNES (Gen 1) - FOUND!!! Genesis (Gen 2) 32X Dreamcast Jaguar Atari STFM or E PS1 (Gen 1) PS2 - FOUND!!! Cardboard or styro inserts would be a huge plus, manuals and other media not important. Really hoping someone can help! Thanks for reading!!!
  20. I have an Atari Jaguar, but lost the power adapter a long time ago. I've seen people saying the first-gen Genesis power adapter works for the Jaguar, but what about the MK-1602-1 adapter? It's intended for the first-gen Genesis, which requires 9V and 1.2A, but the adapter is 10V and 1.2A. I don't know why they made it 1 volt more, but it's meant for a system that requires 9V, so would it work for the Jaguar? From pictures people have posted, it looks like the same company might have made the same power adapter for multiple companies.
  21. This is a few years old, but it was just brought back to mind, and I thought I'd share it here. This has gone years without an update, but I heard the dev is now working on it some more, and there should be another update coming up. Wolfenstein 3D [fv11 fixed] (SEGA Genesis/MegaDrive) Tested and running perfectly on MD.emu and RetroArch on Android (Genesis Plus GX and PicoDrive cores), as well as KEGA Fusion on PC and PicoDrive on PSP. 23. (I also posted this on Nintendoage) I am looking to sell most all of my videogame collection. Most of it just sits around not being played. Now on to the hard part. I don't know what to do. I want to get a good price for all of it, but I don't want to rip anyone off. What would all this be worth? Do I need to sell it here, or on Ebay? I don't think I want to part it out. I want to just sell it off in one big lot...I think. Help!
  24. For trade here is my own Sega 32X. I bought it on a whim last January, but I can't really justify owning one given how few games there are, the pain of having it hooked up with my Genesis/Sega CD at the same time, and how it forces me to use composite instead of the component that my Genesis has been modded for. I'm better off just trading this and emulating the 36 games it has. Works fine, I had no issues with it. Here's my trade interests: INTV games (Tower of Doom, Thunder Castle, Hoverforce, Slam Dunk Basketball, Slap Shot Hockey, Pac Man) AV Modded Light Sixer VCS Atari VCS Homebrew/Repro carts Mario Bros for Atari XE Good, loose original B/W GB or GBA games NEW ITEMS: Here is a CIB Wico Bat Handle I bought NIB. Great condition, works perfectly, has controller, box, cardboard insert, and manual. Here is a CIB Saturn Pro Action Replay, lets you play import games on your Saturn, is a memory backup, and works as a 4MB RAM cart. Last is a loose copy of Phantasy Star IV for the Genesis. More items coming soon.
