I have for sale a NeoTeam Magic Key II (MVS to AES adapter) + MVS 161-n-1 banana cart. The Magic Key II is the blue version (not the green version) updated to the then latest firmware (2.0), ideally all official MVS games should play with it but I have not tried any besides the aforementioned banana cart. Both of them are yours in bundle for 155 USD + S&H (Paypal friend and family, US only). The Magic Key II has been modded with a switch to allow disabling the onboard unibios, the banana cart has been modded to add a couple of capacitors on the 2 sound traces to relieve the fact that sometimes volume suddenly jumps/drops. I tested the bundle as of 8/11/2019 at 8:30PM and it all worked (I tried SVC chaos+, AeroFighter 2, Andro Dunos out of the banana cart). Interesting fact about the Magic Key II adapter: when NeoTeam built it they copied the onboard unibios without Razoola permission, they settled and paid Razoola partially via a certain number of these adapters that he had to sell himself, this is one of those adapters that I bought directly from him .... it's not really different than the regular ones, there's no Razoola autograph or anything to prove one way or another, just a fun fact about it (it comes in it's original box). Note that the Magic Key II onboard Unibios does not work with the MVS 161-n-1 banana cart so you have to keep the switch on the off position when playing it, but the combo works just fine if you have a Unibios ROM installed on your AES motherboard instead (and you should definitely have one), the combo works perfectly with Unibios 4 pick'n'mix feature (instant play of about 95 distinct MVS games, not even NeoSD pro to RAM is that fast).

Hey all I was making a list of games to review and there in my pile of Neo Geo MVS games is a puchased from new, fully boxed Samurai Shodown V, now I love Samurai Shodown and was super excited when I purchased this, somehow though it just got forgotten, terrible really, I now need to give it some good play (else my review would be terrible)... Are there games you purchased new and at a great deal of expense that kinda slipped through the net that now you kinda feel bad about??? Taaa Sime

The Immortal John Hancock (SWLOVINST here on AtariAge) walks us through his amazing NEO GEO console and game collection. He covers the AES (Advanced Entertainment System) and arcade MVS (Multi Video System), plus the differences between the two cartridges, controllers, accessories and even the NEO GEO X GOLD and rare NEO GEO CD... Anybody else collecting for this system? And if so, who is your stock broker?

Ola Retrogamers, Last winter I presented the STARFORCE PI Electronic Tabeltop Mini-Arcade on this forum to gauge interest and collect feedback which I could use in preparing a Kickstarter campaign to produce this all-in-one system with a solid arcade experience (www.starforcepi.com). We unfortunately fell short at 49K of the 190K funding goal, but it was a pretty good response, with some decent coverage by techblogs. Because of this I decided to continue working on this project together with Hartmut Wendt (hwhardsoft.de). In parallel to working on a small-volume limited release run, I decided to explore the possibility of building a Neo Geo MVS into the smallest and lightest form factor possible. This was to compare actual Neo Geo games on original hardware with the more budget friendly emulated experience of the SFP. After roughly 4 months of working, tinkering, cutting, thinking and cursing I finished a fully functional mini Neo Geo MVS system: The STARFORCE NEO All-in-One System. The entire build cost around €600, using original and premium components, with a further €150 euro for the extra controller and multicart (161-in-1 MVS to AES shell conversion + box). Check out the attached pictures for an impression of the system, and visit the STARFORCE PI blog for a little more information on the system. SPECS: · Authentic SNK Neo Geo MV-1B hardware · Neo Geo MVS Cartridge Compatible · 2x Neo Geo Controller Inputs (Player 1 & 2) · Integrated SEIMITSU Joystick & 6 buttons (Player 1) · Integrated 8” 480p LCD Screen (4:3) + HDMI Output · SmallCab SuperGun to SCART-to-HDMI · SGL3000 Scanline Generator · Logitech Z120 Internal 1.2Watt Stereo Speakers · 3.5mm Headphone Stereo Jack · BeQuiet! Silent PSU SFW Power 2 400W · Vintage 1982 Minitel 1 Converted Case · Dimensions: 23 x 25 x 26 cm I'll post some pictures and a video of it working with the multicart soon, and I will prepare a build report for the blog so you can have a look at the internals, and how I made certain features. I'd appreciate any feedback, questions and insights you can offer. Enjoy! Marcel SFP Development Team

Hi! I'm looking for a copy of Windjammers or its Japanese version Flying Power Disk for the Neo Geo MVS (cart only). According to the Neo-Geo.com price guide, it's worth $30-60, in the Neokult.com guide it's $55.77 (when euros are converted to US dollars), and in the jamma-nation-x.com guide it's $30-65, so I'm willing to pay near the top end of that range, maybe 60 or 65 dollars. If you have one just message me . Thanks all, KreatorKat

Does anyone have a Neo Geo arcade cabinet available?
KreatorKat posted a topic in Arcade and Pinball
Hi. I already have a thread in the wanted section asking the question in the title above, but I figured that many arcade lovers and cabinet owners never look there but hang around here. I am looking for a non-conversion Neo Geo cabinet- 1, 2, or 4 slots is fine. Please PM me if you have one available or know of one around NJ. Thanks all and have a good weekend! -
Found! Hello everyone, I am currently looking for a dedicated Neo Geo MVS arcade cabinet in a good state of repair (as in all functions works as they should and it looks very nice). Any number of slots (1,2,4,6) is fine, preferably not 6. It needs to be in New Jersey or near NJ (such as the NJ side of Pennsylvania or New York) so I can pick it up. I am looking to pay about $500, maybe more if comes with a good amount of good condition cartridges. I look forward to hearing from anyone with one available!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQoGZ0yEdOI&feature=plcp Above is a Video of my Game Room. I know it is a little small and stuff is crammed in there but I am trying my best. The drums aren't always set up they fold away into the closet for the most part. Please enjoy and below is a list of ALL my systems. Thanks for looking and if you guys know why my Jag CD causes interference when attached please let me know. It does it now and it did it back when my Jag was brand new with a brand new CD attachement so I am not sure. XBOX 360 XBOX PS1 PS2 Neo Geo AES Neo Geo MVS Sega Genesis Sega CD Sega 32X Sega Saturn which I forgot to mention, it has Guardian Heros in it. Sega Dreamcast Colecovision Atari 2600 Expansion thingy for the Colecovision Starpath Supercharger. Supercharger interface multiplied the Atari 2600's RAM 49-fold, from its meager built-in 128 bytes to 6,272 bytes, i.e. giving it an extra 6 KB, allowing for larger games with higher resolution graphics. NES SNES N64 GameCube Gamboy Adapter which plays Gameboy, Gameboy color, and Gameboy Advance games Atari Jaguar Atari Jaguar CD Gameroom Classics Mini Arcade Machines The Video is too dark to show a stack of loose 32X carts next to the boxed games.
