This photo is actually from 2017 but (surprisingly) my collection hasn't changed that much. I am casing CIB NES and SNES games now and I have more Sega CD games than what's pictured. But this is still pretty much how it looks. I have a lot more photos up on my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/retromegabit/

Just a post to gauge any interest before i put these to auction on ebay...but I have 4 Neo Geo AES carts (originals, not duplicates or conversions) that I'm about to put to auction on ebay, unless anyone want to make me any offers here. They are all in mint condition & complete & in perfect working order (have been stored in a wardrobe since purcahse during the late 1990's) and I can and am more than willing to supply pics, and other details, to prove their originality. Just for interests sake, I am the same person who sold a super-rare Kizuna Encounter Euro AES cart back in 2004, and can verify this if required. This is ony to help verify my legitimacy and bolster confidence in any interested parties. The carts are all 100% real - and although I dont expect some of the astronomical amounts asked for these games by ebay "buy-it-now" sellers, I would like any potential offers to be realistic, before I bite the bullet and ebay them... The carts are: Fatal Fury - Mark of the Wolves (A.E.S., U.S.) Fatal Fury - Real Bout (A.E.S., U.S.) King of Fighter '97 (A.E.S., U.S.) King of Fighters '99 (A.E.S., U.S.) Sengoku 3 (A.E.S., U.S.) P.M. me if any interest, Aaron Hilier

Long story short, I found someone who's selling a Neo Geo CD on Facebook Marketplace. The guy's selling it for pretty cheap and according to him it works perfectly. It comes with two controllers and two games (I didn't bother to ask if they are the real thing or backups, though it can always ask). So the thing is: is it worth getting an uncommon console like that taking into account that most games are extremely expensive, the console weighs a ton and the loading times are abyssmal? Oh, and I'm pretty sure my girlfriend will kill me if she sees that massive hunk of plastic around. I've never seen a Neo Geo CD where I live, I'm pretty sure I won't see another one ever again. I know they can be quite expensive and the guy's selling it for not a lot of money so that's definitely not the problem. Maybe it's worth getting if the games are genuine? Maybe I can get it and if I don't use it I can trade it for some thing cool? Anyway, I'm just interested in hearing some opinions from people who might be familiar with the system, since I don't know anything about it and people like Metal Jesus or the guys at My Life in Gaming haven't made a video on it. Looking forward to seeing what you have to say about the Neo Geo CD. PS: I wanted to include some pictures, but Facebook didn't let me see them, so sorry about that. Thanks in advance!

It has come time for me to finally commit to selling my NeoGeo. I don't want to... but, its wasting away. I haven't played it (more than a couple minutes for testing and pictures) in a year+. I would rather someone else spend time actually using it and enjoying it, instead of it sitting around gathering dust. Its a low serial, US, includes two original joysticks, the manual, and warranty sheet. Plus 3 games: Crossed Swords, Magician, and King of Monsters. The original power supply, and composite cable.. plus a mini-DIN to Euroscart for RGB out on a framemeister. I just tested it... and it worked great (RGB only... can't test composite). I cannot figure out what to sell it for because almost all the eBay ones are Japanese models, don't have 3 games, don't have two original joysticks, and don't have manuals (or RGB out... but that is minor). Someone help me price this thing. And if you are interested before it goes on eBay... let me know. We can talk. Here is an imgur album and I attached a single picture of it as well. https://imgur.com/a/33fOU4t Thanks for the advice in advance.

All prices are in U.S, funds, but I will gladly accept the equivalent in Canadian funds. Payment by paypal. All prices included shipping to mainland U.S. and Canada by Canada Post. I will not ship to other countries within the Americas. Shipping overseas with tracking & insurances costs hundreds of dollars. I will ship overseas untracked if you pay the difference in shipping, payment is made by paypal "gift" and you want to take the risk. I've sent many packages to Europe this way and none have been lost, but it can take a couple months to arrive. Red Famicom Twin system with newer belt and NESRGB, games and Sansuii pad: $400 shipped I can add the matching Famicom Everdrive pictured below for $80 The belt was supposed to have been replaced not long before I bought the system a few years ago, but I haven't spent many hours playing FDS games using the actual disk drive. Working Disk games load fast and work flawlessly. I've already sold most of the working FDS games I had. Zelda loads side A fine, but gets Error 27 loading side B. Galaxy Odyssey loads side A fine, but gets Error 27 loading side B. I have tried the audio cassette. Kiki Kikkai works fine. Kid Icarus works fine. The weird disk with different stickers on either side and the Castlevania case does not work. http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(1).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(2).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(3).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(4).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(5).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(6).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(7).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(.JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(9).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(10).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(11).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(12).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(13).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(14).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(15).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(16).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(17).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin%20(18).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/ftwin.JPG PC-FX $175 shipped http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(1).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(2).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(3).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(4).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(5).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(6).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(7).JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(.JPG http://superpcenginegrafx.net/misc/pcf%20(9).JPG Neo Geo CD system with AES stick and 4 games $300 shipped I can include an 8-way gate and arcade ball top if you like. Hey all I was making a list of games to review and there in my pile of Neo Geo MVS games is a puchased from new, fully boxed Samurai Shodown V, now I love Samurai Shodown and was super excited when I purchased this, somehow though it just got forgotten, terrible really, I now need to give it some good play (else my review would be terrible)... Are there games you purchased new and at a great deal of expense that kinda slipped through the net that now you kinda feel bad about??? Taaa Sime

I shared a status update, but I want everybody to have a chance to get these! https://shop.hdretrovision.com/collections/component-cables They are excellent component cables and while seemingly expensive, I can confirm they work great! Be sure to do their 240p test on your TV before ordering, or you'll be disappointed... http://www.hdretrovision.com/240p

Neo Turf Master is a great golf game! It will probably be the best golf game on the switch for a loooooong time so i'll probably be playing a lot of it. Its fun and the control is very intuitive, yet the courses are challenging due to trees, water, and other obstacles. Some observations: -Its very japanese...lol. I suppose most Neo Geo Games are like this? -Clearly based on an arcade game, again as I'm sure most Neo Geo games are.. Annoying "two player can't join" flashing in upper left gets old, but other than that nice to be able to add credits with the L button. -Wish I could input a player 1 name Looking exploring other game modes, have just been playing the US version so far. Switched the "A" button to A. Not sure why they had that backwards to begin with.. Anyone played two player yet? Big fan of this game so far...using the US golfer. Anyone use another character as their favorite?

Hello! Just to say, I am making a podcast looking at all of the Neo Geo AES, MVS, CD, Pocket, Pocket Colour and Hyper Neo Geo 64 games in chronological order. I plan to cover two games an episode, with an episode dedicated to hardware and year reviews. It will use the typical Game by Game podcast format, with user feedback welcome. Because of the insane prices of Neo Geo games, as well as audio equipment and so on. I will use official emulation if available (for example SNK Arcade Classics vol. 1), I hope to have the first episode out by the end of 2020, that may seem like a while but this will be expensive, and I need to save money. If a Neo Geo podcast is already out or in the works that I do not know of, I will scrap this. Also, what are people's thoughts on using patreon to fund this? Anyway, the Facebook page is here https://www.facebook.com/The-Neo-Geo-Game-by-Game-Podcast-1738041289842671/?fref=ts And my Wattpad account is here https://www.wattpad.com/user/philipthewhovian Feel free to contact me here, or on either page. Any questions?

The Immortal John Hancock (SWLOVINST here on AtariAge) walks us through his amazing NEO GEO console and game collection. He covers the AES (Advanced Entertainment System) and arcade MVS (Multi Video System), plus the differences between the two cartridges, controllers, accessories and even the NEO GEO X GOLD and rare NEO GEO CD... Anybody else collecting for this system? And if so, who is your stock broker?

Hi! I'm looking for a copy of Windjammers or its Japanese version Flying Power Disk for the Neo Geo MVS (cart only). According to the Neo-Geo.com price guide, it's worth $30-60, in the Neokult.com guide it's $55.77 (when euros are converted to US dollars), and in the jamma-nation-x.com guide it's $30-65, so I'm willing to pay near the top end of that range, maybe 60 or 65 dollars. If you have one just message me . Thanks all, KreatorKat

Does anyone have a Neo Geo arcade cabinet available?
KreatorKat posted a topic in Arcade and Pinball
Hi. I already have a thread in the wanted section asking the question in the title above, but I figured that many arcade lovers and cabinet owners never look there but hang around here. I am looking for a non-conversion Neo Geo cabinet- 1, 2, or 4 slots is fine. Please PM me if you have one available or know of one around NJ. Thanks all and have a good weekend! -
This is more or less for the locals, but I have a sit-down Neo-Geo MVS cabinet I am looking to sell. The monitor works and the MVS board includes a 120-in-1 multicart. Both joystick panels work (Player 1 stick and buttons were replaced with new parts; new parts will be included for Player 2 side in case you want to install them). Includes cash box, but there are no locks on the coin door (cheap fix). I'm looking to get $300 for it (firm). If you are interested, send me a PM. I am located in Fairfax, VA. I live on the second floor, but this is pretty lightweight and I can easily strap it to an appliance dolly and take it down on my own. Will probably be willing to trade towards console video game items, but cash is nicer.

Found! Hello everyone, I am currently looking for a dedicated Neo Geo MVS arcade cabinet in a good state of repair (as in all functions works as they should and it looks very nice). Any number of slots (1,2,4,6) is fine, preferably not 6. It needs to be in New Jersey or near NJ (such as the NJ side of Pennsylvania or New York) so I can pick it up. I am looking to pay about $500, maybe more if comes with a good amount of good condition cartridges. I look forward to hearing from anyone with one available!

I'd like to break any thoughts right now before I get started... This isn't a guide (currently) to buying classic consoles. I'm curious on advice on getting various vintage game consoles. I already own the general group of items. (Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, etc) However, what I'm lacking on is some of the older and lesser remembered (as far as society seems) game consoles. Classic Game Fest is next weekend, and I'm hoping to find a few game consoles to add to the collection. I don't know how successful or unsuccessful I'll be, but I'd still like to try. In general, what I'm looking for are tips and suggestions as to what I should be looking for (IE specific models or avoiding problematic versions) in the various consoles I'll be listing below. I'm happy to offer suggestions and tips as well on many consoles, but my advice won't be the best honestly. I generally don't care about the outward appearance as much unless it's just awful. ANYWAYS! The consoles I'd like to acquire soon would be... Sega Master System - I know there are several models available, but only one or two offer composite output. I realize I'll want an S-Video mod on this if possible. Curious if anybody here at AtariAge does that, or knows someone who does. Atari Jaguar - I'm curious to give this system a shot since I've honestly never played much of any Atari system. (I have a hard time playing the old old stuff though... Sorry >_<) I need to experience more Atari though to figure out what I missed out on. I know nothing of the console beyond it's general look though... Not even sure about titles. Atari Lynx - I've seen pictures of it, but I'm curious to try it as well. I've seen a few on here for sale but never took the plunge. I also always see something about blown caps involving the screen? (Did I say that right...) Turbo Grafx 16 - This one seems to be the most expensive of those I've glanced over. Wouldn't mind having one, but not looking to spend a huge amount on something I have very little experience with. Is the system even worth the effort? If so, need suggestions for games as well. XD Neo Geo X - Forgot to put in this one. I know they have a re-released Neo Geo X "Gold" package or whatever that comes with a bunch of packed in games with the system plus a handheld piece. Is this thing any good and worth getting over the old Neo Geo system? Sega Saturn - This one is probably the lowest on the list, but I would be interested in getting one if I can get it for a low-ish price. However, I also don't know very many games I'd want on it, so it's on the back burner for the moment. Another thing to keep in mind is that my repair (solder) skill is pretty basic (consider a title like SUPER AMATEUR to be appropriate). I do apologize if this seems lazy or something, but I didn't see anything else like this on the forums. (If I missed it, I apologize and please link me. I searched price guides or console buying guides and came up empty.) Thanks for anybody who can give any opinion or suggestions on these consoles. I realize the Classic Game Fest may not be the best place to go for these items, but maybe I get lucky and find some killer deals. Even beyond that, I'd be interested in acquiring these items regardless of the convention. Wouldn't mind a few game suggestions as well of course.
