  1. Hey Everyone, I've partnered with www.HoldSquare.com, a global PlayStation community, to provide a weekly video podcast covering everything from Atari to PlayStation 4, plus some general pop culture topics. We have some laughs while informing (and hopefully entertaining) the modern and retro gaming community. Each episode is hosted by outlawcurtis, a hardcore PS4 gamer who grew up playing the Atari 2600 and NES, and myself, Brett Weiss, a longtime gaming author, collector, and industry advocate. Sometimes the lovely Jordan, a child of the 80s and 90s, will sit in and make sure we behave. In our latest episode, we cover such topics as Darth Vader, Dark Souls 3, Doom, Dig Dug, the Intellivision, The Rolling Stones, Uncharted 4, and Hot Pockets. And, as usual, a bring out a rarity from my collection at the end of the episode in our weekly "show and tell segment." This time, I show off an Atari item that you may have never seen before (at least in this condition). (Sorry I had a senior moment with the RF switch, calling it a UHF switch--yikes!) If you enjoy the video (click on the link below to watch), please like and subscribe, and help us get the word out on social media. Thanks!
  2. The new Digital Eclipse project was just revealed. Some classic NES games will finally be rereleased in a bundle. Sadly, no word on a retail release like Mega Man Legacy Collection had (Or of a 3DS or Switch release of these Nintendo classics; Would be nice to see these at least hit the Virtual Console as standalone downloads if they won't bring the compilation to Nintendo systems, but not holding my breath). Still, it's nice to see Digital Eclipse and Code Mystics/AtGames keeping the classic gaming compilation genre alive.
  3. Don't want to sell it but also don't want it to collect dust and needs to go to a good home. Just don't have the time for it now or anytime in the near future. The PSVR was bought brand new from Target for $299 during their cartwheel special and I picked up the PS4 500GB with controller and Camera for $260 from Disc Replay so I'm about $600 in with taxes. Unfortunately I've probably only spent about 10 hours total using the entire thing and that was almost 3 months ago. Comes with everything you need except the move controllers and while not required, those can be picked up just about anywhere. PS4 500GB (original) PS4 Controller (original) PS4 Camera (newer version) PSVR (basically new) + the Demo disc And all connectors/power required $400 plus shipping within the U.S. (expecting to be roughly around $45-$60 to be packed and shipped properly) Please PM or reply here if interested, can send pics later. Would make for a nice post holiday gift for you and/or your kids. Thanks

  8. I waited so long to get this one that I just have to share now that it arrived.
  9. I want to talk about all the problems with these 3 consoles and the games for them. I don't feel like I have enough variety with the upcoming generation. I might buy a PS4, the Wii U is already out of date and it's too gimmicky. Xbox One, well you know all the used game BS. PS4 is the one console that is decent. I wish I could pick from 2 or 3 awesome consoles like we always have. Instead, we have a VCR, a 3 year olds toy and a mediocre console. Don't get me wrong, PS4 has lots of potential but what games will we get? A bunch of FPS that are all the same? When we finally get an awesome game for 60 $ don't forget the required DLC updates. That's another 10 - 20$. So you spend 80$ on a game and who do you have in the servers? A bunch of 10-12 year old spoiled brats yelling at you.
  10. Some people will only show you themselves at their best. I choose instead to show you my worst.

  17. So I had my PS4 since launch and just recently at the end of last month I noticed the triangle and the options button were sticky/mushy. I would press it and it would 'stick' and slowly come back up or felt like there was goo underneath the button. I haven't spilled anything on it and keep my video game stuff in pristine condition. I researched it and apparently it has been a common problem unfortunately with other buttons: http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/PS4-Support/Triangle-Button-Sticky/td-p/20622131 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeFsfczcCDM I was wondering if anyone had any issues with their PS4 controller and would they know how to fix it? Would I have to take it apart and clean it? I think the last resort would be to buy a new one and return the old one at Wal Mart or something. Thanks!
