  1. We just launched the KS for the game. Finally after many years. Here is the link: http://kck.st/361a4Pv If you want more background info, check out the story in the campaign. If you still have any questions, let me know. I'll be checking and updating this thread periodically. Thanks!
  2. I've been on a mission as of late to make arcade-type sticks/controllers for all of my consoles to enrich my game-play experience, and I've finally gotten around to my SNES. So unveiling my: SF2 / Twin2 Edition – VVG Enhanced Controller: (Super Famicom-Street Fighter / Twin Stick-Twin Control) Built into a Hammond Mfg. 20" x 11.25" aluminum enclosure, and featuring: *(2) iL Eurostick 8-way joysticks w/ Cherry micro-switches *(2) iL extended length, threaded SST shafts *(2) Sanwa LB-35, 35mm ball-knobs (Dak Hai) *(6) iL PSL-L concave push-buttons w/ Cherry micro-switches (1 ea. Green (Y) /Blue (X) /Yellow (B) /Red (A) & 2 Light Gray (L&R)) *(2) iL PSL/CV convex push-buttons w/ Cherry micro-switches (2 Dark Gray (Select & Start)) *SNES controller donor PCB & cable *Custom C.P. artwork overlay So basically its your run-of-the-mill arcade stick, with era-correct arcade components...featuring a Street Fighter button layout, and a 2nd stick wired in as a twin input for the Y/X/B/A buttons. The 2nd stick allows for arcade-accurate controls when playing Crazy Climber (Nichibutsu Arcade Classics), Robotron: 2084 (Williams: Arcade's Greatest Hits), Super Smash TV, and Total Carnage. Enjoy!
  3. Hey all, I just ran into this on my feed on Twitter, and WOW, I cant wait to be able to play it. It looks epic... Video/pics here... Some examples from above... It's a completely new game, all new levels, 4 player capable and stays faithful of the original. There is a rom out there for it, that I found, if you follow some of the messages on the above link, you should be able to find it. I have a Super Wild card but, the floppy drive is dead. I ordered a Floppy Emulator and it's due in tomorrow... This means I have the rom and I cant even play it tonight It really does look incredible and the dev put years of work into it..
  4. After getting a HDMI adapter for my SNES I tried setting it up today for some All Stars action. Ran into a problem I’ve never had before. This is my original console (Classic SNES chunky) and I’ve used it randomly over the years with no issue until today. Got everything plugged in. Adapter is getting power. SNES powers on. Game loads. I press start, All Stars does the fade out sound and animation, and then black screen no video followed by reloading back to the start screen. This goes on for eternity. I've been looking at different troubleshooting videos and other threads but I can’t find any that have the exact same issue. I’m not sure if the issue is the game cartridge or the console because I only have one game for it. I’m leaning towards console because the game does load it just won’t progress farther than the start menu. Obviously, something isn’t allowing it to progress farther than that. Any ideas? I’m tempted to take it apart and clean the connectors, but thought I’d see if anyone thought it could be one thing over another.
  5. Hey there guys and gals This holiday season I'm going to be getting an Analogue Super NT and I've been on a quest to get the best wired SNES controllers that I can get for it in brand new condition, and I've decided on going with the controllers from a Super Nintendo Classic Edition coupled with some adapters to interface them with original SNES controller ports. With that in mind I'm looking to buy either a new/sealed Super Nintendo Classic Edition system to snag the controllers from it, or just two new and unused controllers if anyone has an extra leftover from their Super Nintendo Classic Edition that they never got around to using. Price wise I'm looking to pay either $100 PayPal'd and shipped for a complete and new/sealed Super Nintendo Classic Edition or $25 shipped each for new condition Super Nintendo Classic Edition controllers. Thank you for taking the time to view my thread and just and just shoot me a PM if you have what I'm looking for and would like to sell!
  6. Just wondering if anyone had one for a reasonable price. Seeing ebay prices going from $70-160, I think it's pretty crazy for a SNES... I'd prefer a nice one but, would not step away if it was a epic deal on a beat up one for a transplant. I am searching on places like facebook and other places trying to source one. I have a Framemister and wanted to see how much better the picture is with a 1-Chip. I have 2 SNES units ow... one is early UN10 and another, minty looking that is a UN24... Just looking for that UN309 or UN31 Thanks !
  7. Hey Guys, so lately we have been working on full force to acquire prototypes along their rights to finish the games and publish them. I want to keep this thread open to discuss the games that we have acquired and the status of each game (usually we get games incomplete). -Game Name - Status - Description -Dorke and Ymp SNES - Fully Playable - New World added from source code acquired, New music, bug fixes, and additional boss fights. Available for purchase at http://pikointeractive.com/store.htmland Steam. - Pinkie SNES - Fully Playable - debug mode turned off - Currently WTB CD32 and Megadrive protos. Scheduled to release in 2017 -Indigo ST/Amiga - Fully Playable - Game fully playable dumps available online. We are planning GBA/GenesisJaguar ports along physical CD32 physical release. -Tyrannosaurus Tex GBC - Fully Playable - Proto Rom acquired from fellow Assemblergames member, seems to be fully playable working on a couple of small things that need polish. Physical release for GBC planned for 2017. PC Remaster planned as well as Genesis port planned. -Jim Power The Lost Dimension Genesis - Fully Playable - Optimized to work on both PAL and NTSC, fully playable with all songs, will be released in a planned Jim Power Crowdfunding campaign along with every physical version of every Retro platform. -Video Kid SNES - NOT FOUND - Unfortunately the programmer and sub-publisher lost all data of the SNES version. WTB SNES prototype. Hoping Kaneko Japan has a back up somewhere. -Switchblade II NES - NOT FOUND - Developer who coded mentioned he may have a back up but lead went cold. Currently WTB prototype of the NES version; hoping Kaneko Japan has a back up. -Madness House of Fun Genesis - FOUND - Found the source code which seems to be complete or almost complete. No Binaries. This version is called PJ in the Dreamland. Hoping to get it compiled somehow. -ODEMA GBA - Found /WIP - Found the source code for part of the games, art assets for the full game and very early build of the game. Game will be re-written from scratch it seems. Have a lead of a collector that owns a later proto but not willing to sell. WTB Proto for ODEMA GBA I've been very busy, this is time consuming and expensive, but I'm glad there is progress. Any comments or questions please let me know. Any lead of attainable license/rights protos would be appreciated!
  8. Just curious the forums list alot of common 8 bit consoles and then skips 16 bit consoles them goes right into modern gaming. Was in hopes there could be a discussion on Nes Snes sega gensis.
  9. Hi. My name is Rich and I have a small VR channel on YouTube. I invite you to see my retro console collection on YouTube. I'm about to get to 900subs and I'm doing something special.
  10. Hello friends, I recently came into some new Super Famicom hardware, including two mystery controllers that I absolutely cannot find any information on. I suspect they are nothing special but I'd like to be sure. This forum seems like the perfect resource, full of knowledgeable folks who might be able to identify such things. Please see attached images. The controller is called the "Master Blaster" which really complicates getting a decent google search. I have two, non-functional and one functional but in need of silicon repair. I don't have the means to try and fix the non-functional one. Just wondering if some museum would benefit having these before I potentially get rid of em. Thanks!
  11. I've been trying to get a console this month because I'm in possession of some disposable income. As usual, I have a ton of options and one of the possibilities is getting a SNES. Thing is I've never even touched one. I have a SNES Classic Edition which I loved and has an amazing selection of games, but I'd like to own the real thing just for the purposing of collecting and also to play on the real thing. So how much should I pay for the system? Also, I've seen the original SNES, as well as the SNES Jr. I know the former supports S-video and the former doesn't, but I also know that the Jr. tends to be more collectible. To sum up: 1) Do you think it's worth getting a SNES if I own the Classic Edition, 2) Which version should I look for? 3) How much is an acceptable price for the system in case I decide to go for it? Thanks in advance!
  12. I got a handful of cheap Super Famicom games - some whose North American versions go for 40-50 times as much!
  13. Hi... I just purchased an "Atari ST 520" off of ebay for the first time "Ever"; I never really owned one before so I am a first time of one of these machines. I was wondering has anyone ever programmed Mode 7 style graphics on the Atari ST? I've posted picture of a demo of mode 7 on a Sega Genesis and wonder if anyone ever tried to pull it off on the ST yet? It sounds like a neat little project for somebody.
  14. Hi everyone, I am new here, and this is my first post, but I was wondering what you guys would consider the best console emulator for playing NES, SNES, Sega, and maybe PlayStation? I got an atGames Legends Flashback console from a friend for Christmas and have been enjoying NES and Sega Genesis games, but it doesn't have SNES support which is what I want mostly. I was thinking of upgrading to an all around retro game console emulator if such a thin exists. Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you, -J&C
  15. I found a decent item for cheap at around 2004, a 3D Zero SNES controller adapter. At first it worked, for both a control pad as well as a fight stick. Then later I bought Pataank, and the 3D Zero didn’t work. It didn’t work with neither the SNES Pad nor fight stick. But the Goldstar 3DO controller and Panasonic fight stick work fine. Also I tested the daisy chaining abilities of the 3D Zero, it worked anywhere from Player 1/4 to Player 4/4. I know it can work with up to 8 people, but I don’t have 8 controllers. First of all, any 3D Zero owners notice an incompatibility with Pataank, or is it just mine? Second, can anyone name a 3DO game they have that doenst work with a 3D Zero? Finally, how do other SNES->3DO adapters work with their 3DO games, i especially what to hear about incompatible ones with 3D Zero, like Pataank?
  16. I have a lot of games I'm trying to get rid of so I wanted to offer them here before they end up at the game store. I may entertain cash offers but mostly looking for trades at the moment. Maybe closer to the end of the week for cash. I have my wishlist along with the other stuff in the attached link. Feel free to offer any items that aren't specifically on my wishlist, especially NES/Famicom, SNES, and PS1 games and/or accessories. Action/platformers, puzzle, and horror games are good for me. Send me a PM with any offers, and please get your offers in by Friday around 12:00 noon EST. Edit: Continental US only please https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/134tHlI07W4mDp5KlxVfEpaE6t_-P4xLgUSyQTTnA5sc/edit?usp=sharing
  17. I got a broken SNES off my friend. The round plastic piece that is inside the AC Adapter socket is broken off...which I hear is a common issue with SNES...so it works but if you move the power supply wire it will turn on and off since it's loose. I thought there was a tutorial on here about removing the power socket completely and replacing it with a laptop power cable? Or is there anyway to buy a new SNES power supply socket to solder onto the board to replace the broken one? Thanks for your help!
  18. Like the title says, I'm looking for an US model Super Nintendo system in nice condition. By that I mean no yellowing, little in the way of scratching on top, both rubber feet on the bottom present, and an OEM power supply, composite cables, and a scratch-free OEM controller included. Price wise I'm up for paying around $60 to $65 shipped via PayPal, which seems to be what really nice looking Super Nintendos are going for on eBay at the moment. As far as games and accessories go I'd also be interested in a minty Super Advantage arcade stick and cart only copies of Star Fox, Doom, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past with mint labels, or perhaps the keys of Barad-dûr itself; along with the crowns of the seven kings and the rods of the five wizards. Okay, maybe I'm asking a little much with those last few, but suffice it to say condition is important to me. Thanks for taking the time to view my thread and just shoot me a PM if you're interested in selling.
  19. Hey all, I know I'm new here, but since I'm phasing out most of my collection, I figured I'd post here instead of just lurking like I usually do. I don't really post much when I'm on the AA forums, but I'm a long-time and established member on the Racketboy forums if y'all want to double check me. So I've finally decided to try to make myself downsize my collection somewhat and take more a curated approach rather than my typical "hoard everything that's a video game" attitude. With that said, below I have listed the things I've decided I'm willing to part with. If you're interested in anything, shoot me a PM. My asking prices are totes negotiable though keep in mind that they ARE shipped prices. I'm a pretty laid back dude, flexible dude, so don't hesitate to shoot me an offer. No stress either way. I am also more than happy to send pictures on request. More will be added later on. I'd prefer to stick with a $20 minimum to keep shipping costs for me reasonable, but I'm willing to negotiate on that. All games are NTSC-U unless otherwise stated. Unless otherwise stated, all cartridge games are in UGCs with printed artwork. Unless otherwise stated, all TurboGrafx-16/PC-Engine games will be in 3DS cases with printed artwork. 20. I live in a country where most of the NES games you'd buy were pirated (cheap Chinese knockoffs that had hundreds and sometimes thousands of games.) Although that was the perfect way to get to know games that were never released officially by Nintendo here, I simply detest to collect pirated games, so over the years I started amassing a collection with the real thing. A few days ago, I came across a post on Facebook of someone selling a lot with 9 SNES and Famicom games. I have no experience with the console, since it was never officially released here, so I wanted to check with some of you before making an offer. I really want to get those games because you never find them where I live, so that solves paying to ship those games, but I want to make sure they are the real thing and that I'm not paying my hard earned money for nothing. How do I detect pirated games? Oh, I'd also appreciate it if you could tell me how much you'd pay for them. Thanks in advance!!! These are the games: Batman Returns, Super Street Fighter (Super Famicom), Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, Sonic Blast Man (Super Famicom), Clay Fighter, Taz-Mania, Demolition Man and Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions.
  21. I'm looking for a legitimate set of S-Video cables that will work on the SNES, N64 and GC. From the reviews I am reading on various sites some cheaper S-Video cables are actually just a passthrough for a composite signal. No! What is the point of that. Below are a set that I found on Amazon and appear to be pretty cheap and actually put out an S-Video signal. Can anyone confirm that based on the listing? If not is there another set somewhere you can confirm are legitimate S-Video signal cables in the Nintendo output style? My application is for an SNES mini and N64 being hooked up to my CRT with S-Video inputs. I have found S-Video looks great and is the best way to get a decent picture out of your system without resorting to mods (which I often do anyway, lol) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LE3EAIK/?coliid=I1LBKDS0R8LAYR&colid=3C9JYID8UW0H3&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
