Well.... The Switch is a blast but i'm finding there is only so much to do on it. That being said my Wii U has gone back to being my primary console. Reasons: -Can watch Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon prime -Still many titles in the library that I need to explore! -My virtual console library is pretty solid at this point -Recent releases of some solid titles (Shantae, Darksiders, etc.) -More AAA adult titles that are up my alley at this time Anyone back to using their Wii U more than their Switch? Or am i the lone weirdo?

Everyone likes a winner, and the Wii U was definitely not one, finishing a distant 3rd to whatever consoles it was battling. With 13 million sold, it is second only to the virtual boy as a leading red-headed step child of Nintendo. Failing to differentiate and properly market to consumers, the console was doomed nearly from the get go. The console is know among games to collect dust, and just generally suck and be made fun of. And yet when you actually play the console, it seems like one of the finest Nintendo has ever made. The first party game library is rich and deep, and there are a reasonable amount of 3rd party offerings, including many AAA titles. The eshop is solid, and many apps were cool and ahead of their time (Nintendo TV comes to mind.) The console is always backwards compatible with the Wii and it's vast library of quality offerings. On paper, and when playing it, I feel like it's a great console. I do feel like the gamepad was somewhat poorly executed, but no console is perfect. So why do people love to hate the Wii U so much? Have they not actually played it, or is it mostly rooted in the fact that it wasn't a commercial success? Your thoughts? -
Hello Kitty Kruisers, one of the rarest Wii U games, is coming to the Nintendo Switch. So the Switch got me excited about Nintendo again, but there just isn't much to do on it right now. I have Zelda and Bomberman but haven't had time to get into Zelda yet really. I also need a dock for my upstairs TV before I can make it my "main" new system. That being said, craving more Nintendo i've found that my Wii U still has a lot to offer, much more than the switch right now i'd say. With something like 30 games and a 2TB hard drive hooked up, as well as 4 wii motes and 4x pro controllers, it's been getting some serious hours this past week. I have been playing Shantae, Bayonetta 2, and Wonderfull 101 by myself. With the wife and two friends last night we played a couple of games of Mario Party 10, some Mario Kart 8, and some Wii sports club. Happily re-discovering and logging some serious hours on my Wii U, and loving it. Has the switch (or NOT being able to get one) caused anyone out there to do the same?

Article: Here's step by step directions on how to transfer or copy a Mii from your Wii U to the Nintendo Switch. This will allow you to use a pre-made Mii for you Nintendo Switch user icon. What you'll need: Wii U Nintendo Switch amiibo of your choice ON THE WII UTurn on your Wii U, login to the user's profile that has the Mii you want to transfer, and go to System Settings. Go to amiibo Settings, then hit Register Owner and Nickname. Touch the amiibo to the GamePad as directed. Change the Owner if needed then hit save. Touch the amiibo to the GamePad again to register the owner. ON THE NINTENDO SWITCHHop over to your Nintendo Switch and load up the System Settings. Scroll down to User then select Add New user. Once you're given the prompt to choose an icon scroll to the Mii tile and click hit. Choose Create New Mii, then select Copy Mii from amiibo. Grab the amiibo you used before and touch it to the NFC touchpoint on the right Joy-Con. Your amiibo should be successfully copied. After it's transferred from the amiibo you can customize the Mii's pose, expression, and completely edit the original Mii. Hello everybody, today I have a simple question: what's your favorite mario party game: 1 through 10? Actually, its more complex than that. It would be cool to hear two answers: what is your favorite game, including biases like your first mario party, a favorite gaming party or experience, etc, as well as which game you believe is all around the best, unbiased. I personally had the most fun with Mario Party 8 because it was my first even though some other entries in the series were way better. I'm exited to hear your answers!
