  2. I keep all my ripped movies on an external hard drive and even though I have a dedicated media player for movie watching, I recently started using my Xbox One more and mote (not just for games, but YouTube, radio and other things.) So what's the best media player for the console? I tried the stock app, but it's not very good and I was wondering what other people are using for watching movies on their Xbox One consoles. I want something that supports a lot of files, like MKV, AVI, MP4 and so on and something that's easy to use/setup. Really looking forward to your recommendations! Thanks in advance.

  5. If you’re a hot rodder like I am you know there are two ways to go about fixing a car. The first way is to keep it stock, you make it as original as possible and use modern technology to tune the car (In Xbox terms, a simple softmod). Other then that, it looks like the car just rolled off the showroom floor. The second way is to take that same car and make it fun and personal. You don’t care about making it original. You want to make it stylish, fun, powerful and unique. This is how I operate. When it comes to Xbox modding, this model follows that second philosophy. To start, it has a Xecuter2 mod chip. With it the BIOS, startup sequence and OS were rewritten. It also bypasses the check that sees if the Xbox has a DVD drive in it (Though if you want you can still open the case and plug in the DVD drive). The original fan was thrown out to have two copper (Instead of aluminum) fans to cool the processors. Then it uses a Sunon fan to pull any heat outside of the case. Overheating will never be a problem, and it will always be cool to the touch. Every important wire inside the case was shielded to reduce interference. It wasn’t a problem, but it will reduce any lag or interference that may occur depending on what the unit sits next to. One thing that was kept stock inside the case was the PSU. This not only cuts costs but it also is much more stable then any Pico PSU and if there’s a power surge the fuse will protect the system. Making things simple, cheap and better. There are a number of skins to choose from, I prefer the Xbox 360 look. And it is very easy to navigate. To change any setting you do to the far right, like a 360, and go to setting and just check the options you want. This system has been tested, extensively. This was originally a unit I went all out on to keep for myself. But things arise, as they always do, and I am selling the unit. This has many built in emulators. And for each emulator it contains every single game ever released for that system. To keep in simple, this contains just about every game that came out before the xbox did. This excludes computer systems like the Apple II GS or Commodore 64, but the market for those systems is very small, and therefore excluded. Everything in this runs great. If you want to sit down and play this for 24 straight hours, this can handle it. If you want to bring this over to a buddies house, it can take it. You can leave it with a careless friend and not worry about him breaking it. This is a unit designed to last, take hits, withstand drops and survive abuse. This unit is straight forward and any non techie can use and understand it. Just navigate the menu like the old Xbox 360, choose what you want and hit the A button. Controllers work with any of the emulators and there is nothing confusing about it. If you want to rip a DVD you simply go to the DVD2Xbox app, hit rip dvd, put in the disk, and wait for it to finish the instillation. I am including a keyboard and mouse adaptor with this unit so you can play first person shooters the way they were intended. System Info-see photos
  6. Looking for Black, Blue, (Halo) Green, and Crystal Xecuter 3 Control Panels with LCD's. IR = Bonus PM with details and price. Thanks!
  7. Found all of this through Facebook a few days ago, all for $35 (the Wii wasn't mentioned in the ad, but it was in the bag). The PS2 (model number 79001) didn't have any cables, so I tested it with my own. Disk didn't spin at first, but that was because a piece of plastic broke off the lid, so it wasn't hitting the trigger. Fixed that and it works great. Haven't tried the Wii yet, but inside is an official 2 gb SD card. I'm going to clean them both up and remove the stickers. I'm probably going to sell them cheap, since they are duplicates. It's nice to find some Atari 2600 games, even common ones like these. I've always wanted Lost Luggage, heard it was fun!

  12. I have up for sale an original Xbox that has been softmodded and fitted with a 320gb hard drive. It comes with ALL cords and two controllers, one "Duke" and one "S". I can customize what's on the hard drive to your liking so when you get it, you can take it out of the box and it's ready to go. XBMC is on there as a program so you can play your movies, music, and games. I am asking $100 shipped in the US due to its massive size. For Canada, I can ship, but it will be at a slightly higher rate that we can discuss in PM's. It's bullshit that it's considered international when it's only across the border, but oh well. If you want it, we can come up with something. I know others are selling the unit as well, but for this price for what's here, it's hard to top. I'm taking a loss, but I need a few items right now that can't wait. Happy buying!

  15. Hey..I have 4 Original Xbox Consoles that I acquired from a yard sale. They all power up and play games nicely. I could care less about Xbox games, I want to make these in to Emulation/Media Boxes. I read dozens of posts and instructions and it all seems fairly straight forward for the softmod with the exception that I do not have a memory card and in October of 2016 you can find a usb stick (off the shelf) that can be read in the console or formatted FATx. So before I spend more money and run into road blocks I had a few questions: 1. Softmod or Mod Chip, do the both do the same thing? Again I don't care Xbox games/backups/Imports, just emulation and a larger hd 2. Which Softmod technique 3. Which Mod Chip Thanks for reading...I always get the best answers here..

  20. I know that when Atari was building up to the original Xbox launch, the Atari brand was tarnished in many ways, but it did (and still does) have a huge amount of cache as a hugely influental American game and game console maker. From a marketing and business standpoint there are a lot of good arguments for them to have cheaply bought the established name and slapped in on their first game console. For example Atari 9600, by Microsoft, or something along those lines. I bet there was at least some consideration of the idea at Microsoft at the time. Instant brand recognition and cache from the American gaming public was up for grabs, but they passed. What do you think?
