Could the release of the infamous Black Ice/White Noise saved the Jaguar and even Atari? Myself and the rest of the Arcade Attack crew have recorded a special Atari Jaguar CD podcast for Arcade where we discuss the ill-fated peripheral, why it failed and whether Black Ice/White Noise could have helped save the Jaguar and even Atari! Please give it a listen if you get a chance and let me know if you agree with our verdict - here are all the nice links below: http://www.arcadeattack.co.uk/podcast-july-2-2017/ https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/arcade-attack-podcast/id1174983594 https://soundcloud.com/user-960533620 http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/arcade-attack-retro-gaming-podcast http://arcadeattackpodcast.podbean.com/?source=pb https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCb6cTE7T1yiBMdrb6qcrRXw If you enjoyed the podcast, please feel free to subscribe for future episodes. Please also enjoy a nice interview with the main man behind Black Ice/White Noise - B.J. West: http://www.arcadeattack.co.uk/bj-west/ Kind Regards Adrian

Dear all I just wanted to point all you lovely people to a new retro gaming podcast. On Arcade Attack's first ever podcast, myself and two of my close friends discuss many topics. As a huge Jaguar fan (and collector) I give my views on this misunderstood console. Please give it a listen and let me know what you think: http://www.arcadeattack.co.uk/podcast-november-2016/ P.s. While listening back, I noticed I made 2 clear errors about the Jaguar, no prizes for anyone who points them out!!! Thanks all. Adriano

So after many years of sitting on this disc of gameplay footage that Gatzee sent me forever ago (12 years or so), I could ever only get a few minutes out of it here and there as of recently. I've finally had the disc professionally resurfaced and brute force copied over to my system and have posted the video in its entirety on the Jaguar Facebook page, which can be viewed here: https://www.facebook.com/AtariJaguar64/videos/1275656109128368/ It's almost an hour long. Sorry if you don't like Facebook. Enjoy!

Here's an xmas morning Jaguar release, featuring some French realtime 3D fun! It's a quick invitation to Sommarhack 2016 in Sweden 8-10 July. If you download the binary (4mb ROM), be aware best results will be had on hardware. It should be OK on PAL or NTSC machines and will run at 50 or 60fps accordingly, but emulation might lead to iffy audio syncing, which isn't ideal in such a prod. Here's the video for the lazy xmas lamahs :0) Merry xmas, Jaguar fans. wiggle.zip

Please watch in darkness, your sound cranked, 480p full screen a must. Enjoy the movie. Thanks Jeff! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqmKA_NB4MM This is the best quality Tempest 2000 video ever uploaded to the internet, bar none. Video clarity, audio quality and gameplay. I'm not bragging but I am a great player of this game too; Been playing since 1994. I use a regular Jag pad, no rotary. Just stating facts so don't be mad with me, just watch this movie and enjoy, it's better than most movies. So ya, amazing trippy visuals, amazing techno music, amazing frantic gameplay. This game NEVER gets old. Never.

Hi all, Been playing my Jaguar again and ejoying Tempest 2000 and started to wonder. If Atari had some money back then and a good game making team, could the Jaguar handle PS1 quality games? Weren't the PS1 and Jaguar similar in hardware? What are some homebrews that show excellent qualities of the Jaguar? Let me know, cheers! Yan

We got the Jag for Christmas in 1993. All my other old computers are gone, but the Jaguar remains. And it's been rediscovered by my kids! http://breakintochat.com/blog/2013/11/21/happy-birthday-atari-jaguar/

These pictures are missing my PS2, XBOX 360, Wii, N64, Genesis, NES, and my extra Dreamcast and 2 Atari 2600; and some games. It has grown by leaps and bounds since I joined Atari Age a while ago. I had to take them all out of boxes so I could just take these pictures. Still doesn't compare to some beautiful collections that I've seen here in the forum. Love collecting! Who doesn't? Thanks for looking. Cheers, Yan

So I just realized the 'tune' during the jaguar boot is actually the "Have You Played Atari Today?" tune. Commercial for the slogan: Atari Jaguar Boot: Has anyone ever realized that? I thought that was kinda kool.
