Super Smash Bros Historia ssbhistoria.blogspot.com Where I play all of the core games of all SSB series, plus spin-offs featuring secondary characters that are playable in-game. I will review each series compared to other games of its series, then pit them head2head against each other. My first game is Wrecking Crew '98. Wish me luck!

Hi all, As I am lacking some inspiration (and time) to write for Atariteca these days, I was wondering if there are still some other blogs exclusively on Atari computers or consoles running out there. The only one that comes to my mind is Bill Lange's excellent Atari 8-bits Ads: https://atari8bitads.blogspot.com/ - Y -

Hello Everyone! This is my first blog post ever here on AtariAge, and I'm excited to be on here! Let me introduce myself. My name is Chase, and I am a seventeen year from Ohio. I have been playing and collecting Atari 2600 games for 3 years now and I have never felt more passionate and happy playing simple games compared to the high resolution, highly complicated games of today. The 2600 seems to pull me in with simplicity and the appeal of playing games that have shaped the game industry into how it is today. I have used my Atari 2600 (a four switch Woody) more than my Ps4, and I actually love my Atari more than my PlayStation. I want to start up a YouTube channel reviewing games and potentially talk to the people who programmed them. I hope to have a fun time on here and I can't wait to share my passion with others and hear stories from others who grew up with the console I love. I will mostly will be talking about the 2600 on this blog, mostly about games. Which ones I love, which ones I think are ok, and which ones I don't really like. I might also dabble in the 5200, 7800 and the Lynx and Jaguar. And one question to end this blog: Which Atari 2600 launch title is your favorite? Mine is Indy 500, followed by Surround.

Is Invision's blog software ever going to see any improvements? It's still completely terrible. Most of the problems that have been plaguing it for years are still present. It's woefully behind proper blog software in terms of features, options, layout, presentation, etc. Formatting is so messed up, that I'll often just edit complex posts entirely in BBCode mode instead because the software can't be trusted to keep formatting intact. I keep a text file offline of the BBCode version of my To-Do post so I know I can always go back and update it. Once I do post it, the underlying BBCode gets changed by the blog software. Although it displays properly after posting, it can no longer be edited within the blog because the formatting gets hosed. I have to edit, then copy/paste the entire thing out of a text editor for it to look the way I want it to. It still always scales images, even if it's not needed. In the main listing for my blog, it never displays images. My blog is all about images. The tag listings have never been fixed. There's no way to migrate tags over to categories. All of the emoticons prior to one of the previous updates were all changed, so any emoticons used in posts or comments make absolutely no contextual sense. There is no way for people posting comments to preview their comments first. Is there any chance of ditching their software and migrating the blogs over to something else? Their blog software has never been good. It has only ever been, at best, marginally usable.

I just noticed the field "Image Entry" in my blog for the first time and tried to utilize it for an existing entry. This does NOT work. Then I created a new test blog entry, using an "Image Entry". There it works. And changing the image afterwards works too. So the bug seems to be, that you cannot add an "Image Entry" to already existing blog entries, even though the input field is there.
