  1. Everyone on the internet are still saying the fact, that he hates Bubsy. Which is not true. If they said it as a theory, I would probably understand, but they actually say it as a fact, without even asking him. Which again, not true. A youtuber named DrewTheRedPoochyena uploaded a video, where he was at a book signing event for Rob Paulsen's newest release "Voice Lessons" during a Q&A session. At the end, he asked him, if he hates Bubsy. He said this: Rob Paulsen: "I don't hate Bubsy…//..I have nothing against Bubsy…//The reason I wansn't involved is not because I don't want to. They hired somebody else. I got nothing against Bubsy." DrewTheRedPoochyena: "So at the very least, not worse than Coconut Fred, right?" Rob Paulsen: "No." Here's the video to prove it: If you still need prove, here's the actual tweet from Rob Paulsen: https://twitter.com/yakkopinky/status/1257402898645790722
  2. Today I finally finished Bubsy Pilot Wiki page! Please check it out! It has a lot of interesting facts. From History to Products.
  3. Here's my remake or should I say restoration of Bubsy in Claws Encounters Of The Furred Kind, Official Trailer from 1993. Here's the original trailer: I hope you like my remake of it. It was a lot of work to do, a lot of redraws, making new footage, editing and a lot research. It was a fun work but also a hard one. Anyway, I hope you like it.
  4. This is a compilation of Bubsy commercials from 1993 to 2019. There's no commercial for Bubsy in Fractured Furry Tales or for Bubsy 3D. Right now, Bubsy 1 and 2, Bubsy: The Woolies Strikes Back and Bubsy: Paws on Fire! are the only ones who got commercials. Right now, I found 10 of them. Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind got the most with 5 commercials and the less got Bubsy 2 with only 1 commercial. The only other dubbed Bubsy commercial is in Spanish, that was made in 1993 for Bubsy 1. There's some interesting commercials like "Answer and win" which included Bubsy 1, was actually aired while the pilot was aired! For a prove, here's a video of Bubsy Pilot (with original commercials): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HRZV5AXBy8&t=1197s (time: 19:56)
  5. Yesterday, I was working on scene 99 for Bubsy pilot reanimated. I've made half of this scene. I hope you like it
  6. I'm working on a project called Bubsy Pilo Reanimated 2020 The main person on this project is Xinny The Caracal and many animators are working on this project. Including me. I'm working on 4 scenes: Scene 21,50,55,99 and 154. I'm close to finish all of them, except scene 99. If you wanna see the the finished scenes, go ahead. But we still need some more animators to join on this project, because we still have a lot of scenes to finish it. I just hope that more people joins in and help us finish our project. It will be revealed on Thanksgiving 2020.
  7. I've recently found the glitch on Bubsy 2 for Gameboy. I basically found the glitch, which you can have infinite life bar! But that wasn't easy to find, because when I made this glitch by an accident, I didn't know what I did. So I had to try it again and again and again, until I found the way to do it. So here's how you do it: Step 1: Go to Bubsy 2 for Gameboy (duh) and choose grand tour. Step 2: When you're here, choose the plane level. Step 3: Finish this level. The next step is a bit hard. Step 4: When you touch the finish line, go down fast as you can. If you do it, this will happen: Then go down some more, and it will automatically go threw the tunnel. Now the next is like this: when you see this rock, go towards the rock, and this is gonna happen: - either you get in and get stuck (which you have to be stuck in it) - or you'll bounce away (if that happens, it won't work) If you get stuck, great! Now you just release bombs by pressing the B button. Then you should hear this sound: 8.mp3 A sound of game over, but cut shortly When you finish it, Bubsy will flash, like this: If that happens, congratulations! You've made the glitch! Now go ahead and choose the level. As you can see there should be a head of Bubsy as a life bar, but when you do the glitch, it's empty. But it won't be empty, when you touch the enemy. This will happen: If you hit more, the sprite will change. And now you have unlimited life bar. But that doesn't mean it's over. There are 3 conditions you have to know: 1. Don't fall damage 2. Don't waste time 3. Don't touch more than 2 checkpoints If you fail them, it will automatically fix itself and then you loose the power. So there you have it. I hope that this trick interested you. I sure like this glitch. If you wanna try it, go ahead and tell me if it works. Credit is all to me!
  8. One time ago, I found some tricks and glitches from Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind. So if you wanna test them, go ahead and try them on the Sega Genesis. 🙂
  9. So in the past we've talked about the Bubsy plush that the Accolade developers had as a promotional item during the development of Bubsy 1 and Bubsy II. And we talked about it in 2010, 2013, and this one and that one in 2019. At this time, ten known in the world to still exist. Earlier this year a Bubsy plush came up on ebay, which I went ahead and bought. A decade long dream come true. And today with all the #Stayhome things going on... ... I finally got around to the purpose I bought the Bubsy plush for in the first place: To study it and share my findings. Afterall, as the Dungeon Master once said in the D&D cartoon, "The man who knows and never tells is as good as the man who never knew." This morning I VERY roughly mapped a pattern for the Bubsy plush using frog tape. For those that don't know, frog tape is what you lay down to keep something from being painted. Just sticky enough to apply, but not so sticky that it can't be removed easily. Basically a post-it-note in tape form. And from that, I got the results that you see below. So if you wanted to try to assemble a Bubsy plush, well, this will point you in the right direction though I am no fashion designer. But this and the pictures of the plush I've included should give you a pretty good idea of what it looks like, and the scale of the plush. EXTREMEMELY OLD! Drawn in MSpaint. This was back when I played around with my old Rayman fan characters Twinkle and Spark, whom like Bubsy's relatives are his nephew and niece. And...this was also when I played around with the idea of giving Rayman a cute "Popple" like tail.

  11. Xinny The Caracal Yesterday at 3:03 PM @everyone It is here! Welcome to the REAL 23rd Anniversary of Bubsy 3D! And also to the release of the fan made Bubsy comic, Bubsy: Cat-astrophic Capers! Featuring the works of Spongefox, Campa, GastroReid, woolietrash and myself, to name a few, it is a 16 page fun bit of work that took a few months before it's grand release! Just want to thank everyone who joined in on this. All of you are awesome, especially those who couldn't make it on time. It was a busy time of year, i will admit, especially since this was delayed from October 31st to now, but for the first community project of this Bubsy fan server, the fact we have 16 pages of comic is pretty good! We have one more comic that will be incoming as a bonus for this project by our Bubsy mascot and artist @Rusty-the-Bobcat , but that won't be for a while. For now though, we hope you all enjoy these short little comics, from one offs to strips to full pages, from many fans of the bobcat! 12. I was browsing on google a few weeks back, and I managed to snag a few gems. I'm not sure who uploaded the images, but I do know that Ken Macklin was the one who came up with these sketches. I'm sure that the BB fan blog will love these. I believe that this was one of the first sketches that Ken Macklin drew up. Bubsy seemed to be considered to be a dog at one point. This one is a little more well known, actually being published in a GamePro Magazine. It's a bit more simplistic, wearing hover shoes. Now this one is the most unique out of the three. He was also considered to be a girl at one point, according to this sketch. Fun Fact: This drawing actually inspired the character Oblivia, according to a source I've read. I'll post the link later... Now this last picture isn't a sketch, but a Bubsy 2 ad, according to the url. I'm not certain where or when this was uploaded, but the colors are pretty to look at... Keep in mind that I am not profiting nor claiming these images as my own. All material shown here belongs to their respectful owner(s).
  13. Like I promised, here are more shots I managed to capture. I must admit, because of that recording's better quality, it actually makes the animation nicer. They actually fixed the lip synching too. Would you think of that? XD Some, if not most, of these are kind of in between frames, so the characters' expressions might look a little weird...
  14. Today is release day (10 am PST, or 12 pm CST for us here in Texas) for the new Bubsy game.. The Woolies Strike Back. Of course for myself, SpongeFox, Robert R, Gold Leader, Jinroh, and other Bubsy fans over the years, this day is also... HALLOWEEN!!! Hahah... Latest fan art from SpongeFox who has contributed Bubsy art over the years, and who doodled art while we talked to Michael Berlyn and Faran Thomason a while back. So this is it folks, the release day for the new Bubsy game and already even before I can get my Bubsy copy out of Game Stop prison.. er. official release time, there are those that found copies and already made reviews even showing all the bosses in the game... What I am hearing is the game is fun, and as Robert R commented, there are many new moves that look inspired by the ScratchPad Bubsy such as breaking through walls and climbing moves. I can definiately see that, and am looking forward to this game when I get off work today. In the meantime, "Bubsy" is answering questions as previously advertised. It was a bit hard to track at first as I was looking in the Bubsy and Bubsy24x1 twitter feeds, Even checked the steam chatroom. However, then I got an answer to my question... I eventually realized that you have to check Bubsy's replies at the following link... https://twitter.com/BubsyThe_Bobcat/with_replies Some of the responses are hilarious so check it out! And with about six hours till release time you could probably still send off a question to #bubsy24x1 and maybe get an answer! More Bubsy news coming soon! ---- SPEACIAL NEWS FLASH... BUBSY WEARS PANTS!!! ------- (And a special 34% offer for the PC release plus free OST, but seriously, for the first time in 25 years Bubsy wears PANTS!!) Dream come true for some fans... film at 11...
  15. Yeah. This was my first time ever drawing the bobcat. Can't remember if I used a reference or not... Looking back at it, at least for me, it's kinda hard to look at, because after two years of practice, and a couple of design changes, I can finally draw without using a reference. But seeing how I drew this while I was at least 14, and it was a first attempt, that's a little impressive. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, which means I will redo completely finished drawings if I'm not satisfied. I'll post my more recent drawings later...
  16. Granted, I had to use an emulator on my phone, but it still technically counts. XD Now where to find the second game...?
  17. From the album: Gaming Artwork

Drawn in 2010. Looks like Rayman and Arnold the Armadillo couldn' t handle Bubsy's antics anymore, and ditches him. Fret not, Bubsy's found some new victi...I mean side kicks.
