  2. An Atari 130XE 64KB with a Omnimon XE ROM upgrade for software development. The Omnimon mod is switch select on/off for compatibility. Includes one Wico Commander joystick with the grommet repaired. I am old skool tech from 1990 onward. Cleaned, inspected, works great. Includes 1.5 A power supply brick, not the cheap 1 A. Built in programming BASIC ROM. Includes monitor cable for composite, luma/chroma (best), and mono audio. The case is slightly yellow, but a good candidate for retrobrighting. The 1702 monitor was the best television computer monitor in its class with great color and low dot pitch. Works on Apple, Commodore, Amiga computers. It is also a great regular NTSC television. Ships from 98686 USA 30 lbs Dave 360 nine 8 o 79 eight 4
  3. Top 10 AMIGA games. Well, certainly such lists are subjective and I am not saying all or any were exclusives, indeed some may have been better or more popular elsewhere but my fond memories of them originated on AMIGA so simply I will name 10 games that I highly enjoyed going back to those may years ago when I had original Amiga hardware. I will go with - 1. Lemmings 2. Stunt car Racer 3. SkidMarks 4. Turrican 5. The Chaos Engine 6. Battle Squadron 7. Zany Golf 8. Zenon II Megablast 9. The Secret of Monkey Island 10. Flashback To be clear, this was literally the first things that sprang to mind off the top of my head and could likely change dramatically from moment to moment and I could literally think of dozens if not hundreds more and that is not even including various PD / Shareware / Demos and well if I am honest tons and tons of pirated titles I traded for back in the day. Was such a wonderful platform.

  5. Based on an original game by Jim Summers on the Commodore PET, Mr. NOP is proud to present to you SLIME for the Commodore 64. Featuring 1 or 2 players, high score saver, joystick or keyboard controls, in-game music by Richard Bayliss and some pretty neat sound effects. Battle the growing slime before it takes over the screen, shoot the membranes and eradicate the slime. As the slime grows, cells begin to grow inside the membranes which then chase after you. Complete the level to advance to more complex stages with even more slime growth. Produced by a Canadian Download link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9749y1dsrioa84e/Slime%20C64.zip?dl=0 Slime C64.zip
  6. What see is what you get. $10 or trade for 8bit atari, 7800 or Colecovision stuff.
  7. Need a working C64 PS. Shipping would be to 78640, or I can pick up in the Austin/San Antonio area. Thanks.
  8. Prices do not include shipping. SOLD! Vic20 Lot (Non-working Console, 14 Boxed Games, Unused printer) - $150 The console doesn't appear to be fully working. The red light turns on and I get a flicker in the video signal but no other activity. Boxed Cartridges (untested since I don't have a working console): Cosmic cruncher, Jupiter Lander, Mole Attack, Number Nabber/Shape Grabber, Omega Race, Pinball Spectacular, Raid On Ford Knox, Road Race, Seawolf, Speed / Bingo Math, Super Alien And what appears to be two copies of: The Sky Is Falling, Vic Avenger and Radar Ratrace SOLD! Commodore MPS-801 Printer APPEARS TO BE UNUSED! I got this in trade along with my C128 but I don't need it and am including it with this lot. The box is falling apart but can be included or left out at the buyers request. I wasn't told that it was unused but it appears to be as far as I can tell and is further evidenced by the tag pictured below attached to a tube that is meant to be removed before use. SOLD! Pentium Pro server parts $100 I believe these came from a Compaq Proliant server I used to have. I have no way to test them but I believe they were working when removed. 3 Pentium Pro processors (two SL22z 512K and one STB32 256K) 8 32MB EDO memory sticks (compaq part # 228468-001) 6 Processor Voltage Regulators SOLD! Vintage Pocket Computers SOLD! Compaq 2015C C-Series Pocket Computer (Complete in box!) $10 This was my wife's computer, bought new and barely used. When I checked it out it looks like one of the hinge covers has cracked so the lid doesn't stay in place. I saved the other half in a ziplock back inside the box so it can be repaired. Doesn't boot off batter but that may be due to dead button cell battery (usually Cr2032). It does boot on AC. SOLD! Compaq Aero 2180 (Complete in box) $20 I bought this brand new around 1999 when I was working for Compaq and got a deal good enough to make me upgrade from my Palm Pilot. It was the first color pocket computer of this form factor if I believe. This was the deluxe top of the line package that included a spare battery, largest storage capacity, and charging base with spare battery charging port. I used the pretty regularly and even used it as a music player storing MP3 on a CompactFlash. I charged both batteries and was able to boot to the setup screen from battery. SOLD! Boxed Atari 7800 Baseball (no manual) and Chiplifter! 9. okay, I saw this Amiga lightgun by actionware on ebay. It's still live: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Commodore-Amiga-Actionware-Light-Gun-Gray-Phaser-/272807926381?hash=item3f849e9a6d:g:NrAAAOSwutpZlGZK The gun looks exactly the same as my xg-1 lightgun. It even looks like there is red left from a peeled Atari sticker. Also, note the insane price (dunno... seller may just be delirious). I read somewhere that Actionware often repurposed and resold nintendo zappers with their lightgun games. I haven't seen evidence of this, but it sure as heck looks like that is what they did with the xg1 here. Now I'm wondering if the xg1 works on the Amiga and C64 or if there is some mod done to the guns. I have a c64 and I love lightgun games so having it work on another computer would be a plus. I'm also thinking... heck... maybe I should just do the mod and sell my xg1 for 120 bucks on ebay lol (okay not really but there may be others that might want to).
  10. Has anyone bought bought a Competition Pro Retro joystick from ICOMP ? The joystick seems advertised as msx compatible http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/Competition_Pro_Retro but it lacks the second button (button B). It has two couples of buttons (one upper and one lower on the basis) and a switch (4 buttons + 1 switch total). Sadly, all buttons insist on the same A line and the switch can only activate or deactivate the upper couple of buttons. Is there someone who modified it to support the msx second button?
  11. I have quite a few auctions in progress, and more to come, so I'll try to keep them consolidated here. I'll post pics below. Ending April 30: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 252815452032 - Vampire V600 V2 FPGA Accelerator for Amiga A600 No end date: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 252833058106 - Road Runner 2600; loose cart
  12. I would like to share my latest Commodore Amiga 500 video:
  13. Former Atari and Amiga employees reminisce about Jay Miner. An interview with Jay follows. This is an edit of the raw footage posted previously.
  14. Ah memories... "Have you got a PET at home?" is the sentance that my English teacher used to introduce us to the word "pet". Hilarity ensued; in French PET litteraly mean "fart". Anyway, now I can say that yes, I have a PET at home; of course, the kind with chips, not fleas (lost in translation joke : both "flea" and "chips" translate as "puce" in French...) Long story short, I saw an add for a CBM 4016; I offered 75€uros for it, and the seller accepted... if I drove to pick it up, since shipping such a fragile old beast is pretty much out of question. While this guy is certainly a retrogamer, his main focus are consoles. So (probably because of his wife ) he showed me more machines, and sold them for a ridiculous price. Yaay, grey plastic to the rescue! The Mac Classic need no introduction. The Amstrad 6128 Plus is an upgrade over the 464/6128 series. More colors, a better chip arrangement that allowed for smoother operation, and a cart port. The Amstrad PC1512 is a nice IBM-PC compatible. It feature some nice options, such as being provided with a mouse, a volume knob for the PC speaker, a joystick port on the keyboard. The Joystick port on the keyboard is wired on unused character from the keyboard, allowing to use a joystick on any PC game that allow you to use your own keys. This is why we liked Amstrad. On the other hand, the mouse is an Amstrad standard so neither IBM PC COM mouses, Atari or Commodore mouses work on it, and some software wouldn't recognize it. Also, the power supply is located in the display, not in the unit. It make it amazingly light, but meant that you couldn't upgrade your display easily unless you acquired a separate power supply or an Amstrad monitor. It's one reason Amstrad ultimately failed to stay in the PC market... Two untested Amiga A500, of different generation. The whiter one is more recent, or so I believe (a sticker in it says that it was made/tested in 1987). Does this explain why it remained white? The mouses that come with them are from Malaysia and Hong Kong, so there is a difference there. The white one feature a "Commodore France" stickers, that I rarely see. But like the yellowed one, it was "made in West-Germany". An original RGB TTL video cable, and a modified one with SCART. Note that the European (French?) Commodore 1084 screen come with a SCART input so both cables can be used on it, but the SCART one can connect to a regular TV. And of course, the main reason why I got all of this : Ready? Sure I am!

  21. Back in the 'good ole days' the early consumer computers were relatively expensive, and since some companies foresaw a larger profit margin they used premium parts. Later to be more competitive with other companies the prices fell and profit margins shrank, many companies began to 'cut corners' with re-designs for fewer components, or just plain inferior parts. At the time a computers life was about 18 months to obsolescence, so if the computer only had to last 2 years or so, who would know how cheaply the thing was put together? I'd like to see a discussion of the computers that have endured the decades. Have the earlier models fared better than the later built models? Have some brands/manufactures lasted longer without intervention? For instance on the TI-99/4A the earlier built black & silver models had mechanical switches in their keyboards and they have endured to this day, but the later price-reduced membrane keyboards have pretty much all died. I'd like to hear YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with YOUR BRAND of early brand of computers. I'm basically trying to target the 1980-85 years. So if you have a TRS-80, an Apple, a Commodore, a TI-99/4A or one of the others let's hear it!
  22. Looking for a Commodore 1581 drive.
  23. Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5, at the Grand Prairie Municipal Airport from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The facilty is open on Monday, July 4, but since that is a holiday, I figured that Tuesday would be a better day. Contact DoctorClu on Atariage for more details. See you there!
  24. Well, the time has come for me to part ways with the last of my Amiga collection. I got rid of my 4000, 2000, and 1200 tower. This is the last of the bunch and ironically the first Amiga I ever bought. There is a ton of stuff so I won't list all of it but the main items of interest are below: 1) Amiga 500. Kickstart ROM 1.3 (This Amiga was bundled with the Gold Disk Appetizer suite of software) 2) Supra RAM 501 512k Expansion with RTC. (I believe it is Supra.) 3) M-TEC 68020i accelerator card. (68020@14MHz with 68881 Math Co-Processor and 1MB SIMM installed) 4) Original Commodore Amiga Power Supply and Mouse. Extra mice to go with it as well. 5) Perfect Sound Sound Digitizer 6) GVP Genlock. (Don't have all cables for it) 7) One California Access 880 External Floppy One Supra 880k External Floppy 9) TONS of software. Some boxed. Most not. But all original disks. (Games, Productivity etc..etc..) 10) Various Amiga manuals and books including the ROM Kernel Manuals. I'm not trying to make a "killing" on the price but I want to be fair. I really want it to go to a good home where it will be enjoyed. PM Me with offers. I prefer local pickup. (Cleveland Ohio). I can meet within a 100 miles if preferred. Ultimately I am trying to avoid shipping it as it would be a fairly heavy box with all the software and books. If you must have it and are not local then we can work out shipping arrangements. I won't ship internationally however. Thanks for your consideration! Mike
  25. Hey guys, I'm new here, but I recently saved a load of stuff from the garbage. A lot of this stuff I have no idea on the value, so I'm posting it here in hopes that people will find it interesting and make fair offers. I don't expect to get "ebay prices", I'd just like this to go to people who will enjoy it. Pictures are below. I realize most of them are inadequate, so if you'd like to see something in more detail, let me know and I'll post more pictures! I ship from Provo, UT. Local pickup is totally acceptable! Not pictured: 7x 1541 Commodore disk drives. Probably not worth their shipping weight, but if you can think of something let me know!
