I hate to highjack Sikor's thread, but I'd like to see the results on a single page and tallied up. They only allow for 25 choices, so list your "Other..." if necessary.

Hi, I am looking for the(TI) DISKMANAGER-3 (DM3) on FloppyDisk (.DSK or .HFE) I mean this version which looks identically to the classic DM2-cartridge. (I think, once it was planned as new the version for the TI´s DD-Controller) I have this well-known "beta" as BIN, but I need a DSK-Version. Is there anybody out there who has it or knows about ? Thanks xXx

Just purchased an empty PEB and want to find a disk drive and disk drive controller card for it. Also looking for a 32K Memory card.

The manual for this is available (Atarimania), but have the disks been imaged yet? According to the R-Time 8 / SDCS Supplement, the contents are as such: The SpartaDOS Construction Set package includes: 1) a diskette containing the standard SpartaDOS version 1.1 on the front and public domain games with the LOGOMENU program on the back side 2) a diskette containing both SpartaDOS version 2.3 and 3.2 with their supporting command files I'm interested in hosting information and files for this on a website currently under construction. Any help in obtaining copies would be greatly appreciated. Also, it was noted in the "Software Preservation" thread that the ATX for the SpartaDOS Toolkit "may have a dump error". Was this ever confirmed or discounted? I'm currently planning to host the ATX from this archive, but I'd prefer not to if the dump isn't clean. Thanks, MF

I'm extremely new to actually using the CoCo 2 and basic code in general. So I found some sample basic code in an old december issue of The Rainbow that does a little Xmas demo and i'm wondering if there is a way to type it in on my modern computer(this one is a Macbook Pro, but I can also run windows so i'm fairly platform agnostic) in a text editor and convert that file to a cassette image or a disk image I can load on the CoCo? Does this even make sense?

(Also posted on 99er.net) I have recently resurrected my TI99/4a after some 30 years, and have now added a new PEB plus disk drive a 32k Mem. I have started copying my old Basic and XBasic programs to disk but I also have a few adventure tapes which work with the adventure module. Does anyone know a way of copying these onto disk to save the laborious (and unreliable) process of loading via tape recorder. I have Xbasic and should soon have the new XB2.7 module, so could utilise assembler if necessary. Surely someone has already done this ?? Thanks from the UK - are there many TIers still in the UK?

Hi All, I have a question about Atari 8-bit/Commodore (or similar) combo disks… is the program contained on these disks, as a general rule, the same as the program contained on non-combo disks? The reason I’m asking is because I hope to get a floppy drive for my Atari soon and intend to collect some disks that interest me… and I know that someday in the future I’ll do the same with the C64, so I feel like in cases where this option is available it would be the best idea, but I don’t want to do this at the expense of getting a compromised version of a game… if that makes sense? Is there anything else related to this that I ought to know? Thanks, --silvahaloone

From the album: Tandy CoCo's 001
I decided to Hook Up the 26-3022 Floppy Disk Controller, with the Fujitsu MB8877A to my almost Brand New FD-500. I put in a DS/DD Un-Formatted Disk, and tried the DIR Command... It gave the Two Letter I/O Error message... So I looked up the Disk Format Command in the RS Disk Color Basic Manual.. "DSKINI0", and it worked like it said it should, the the DIR Command.. No ERROR!!! Typed in a 2 Line BASIC Program, SAVE "GOOD 001".. All is still OK... Then tried the DIS Command.. I got a Directory Listing!!!! -
So I just got my shiny new Kryoflux board yesterday. I got it all set up with an old IBM drive that I cleaned up and it is working perfectly. I was so excited to watch it produce raw stream and .img files of my original Atari 8-bit Bruce Lee disk in less than a minute and a half! I couldn't wait to put in a blank disk and see if it could write a working copy of the disk, protection and all. Then comes the "cannot open image file" error... Did I do something wrong, I wonder to myself? Wait, what? The software can't write back the images it produces??? ??? I have to send them to the "Software Preservation Society" to have them decide if it is worth their time and effort to generate a writeable .ipf file for me? I don't mean to sound ungrateful, because the Kryoflux is truly a remarkable product, but is there ANY way I can build an .ipf file myself with a windows PC? I have a lot of my own data disks; my old BBS disks especially that have become unreadable through the years, that I would like to try to bring back from the dead with this product. Any ideas, links, suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi everyone! At the end of the Bug/65 manual we can read: 1. Copy the files BUG65.COM and BUGV4FIX.COM to a version 4 disk using the COPY24 command (see the DOSXL manual for details on this command). 2. At the version 4 "D1:" prompt, type the command: BUGV4FIX [RETURN] 3. The file BUG65.COM on that disk is now compatible with version 4 of DOSXL. WARNING: Do NOT perform the BUGV4FIX command on your version 2 master disk! Does anyone of you has the "BUGV4FIX.COM" file? I really would appreciate that! :-))) Thank you very much in advance, all the best, Luckybuck

This may be a silly question, but is there any harm in scanning my 5.25" disks on my flatbed scanner? Will the laser cause any damage to the data? I'd like to scan some of my commercial disks to contribute to Atarimania, MobyGames, etc.
