  7. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 281903522386 I hope I posted that link correctly! I am selling an old Heath Zenith Microcomputer Learning System *gasps for air* Model 3400A. It's quite the long name. Thought I would drop by to show you guys! Last time I posted about my TRS-80 Model 1 and people seemed to like that. This isn't as retro, but still pretty retro! This one is in pretty excellent condition despite it's backstory (see ebay) Thanks guys! Same name on Ebay as on AtariAge [digitalXfacter]
  8. I hope it is appropriate to post "for sale" items. Cleaning out the attic, and selling some old Atari 8-bit stuff on Ebay. I was a big Atari geek back in the day, I'd like to see this stuff go to somebody who will appreciate it, instead of the landfill. SpartaDOS X cartridge with SpartDOS Toolkit disk. www.ebay.com/itm/301844912080 Original Atari literature, lot of 5 pieces: (1200XL users guide, 1982 Atari Product Catalog, etc) http://www.ebay.com/itm/301844916921 I'm also selling some Atari ST stuff, if you are interested check out my ebay user page: http://www.ebay.com/usr/chris82369
  9. I've been tinkering around for the first time on eBay for years, mostly to get a handle on what stuff is going for nowdays and am surprised at some of the price spikes certain items are seeing. Of course, I am always wondering if shill bidding might be involved and how much of this stuff is going overseas to foriegn bidders with deep pockets. As such, I always take values on eBay with a grain of salt as the old saying goes. Really, I quit eBay years back when they went paypal only. When it comes to eBay and auctions in general, I guess you could say I don't like them. I'd rather buy an item straight out rather than have to deal with ePay erm, eBay in any way. Yes, it can give you some idea on the value of a piece, but remember, IT IS AN AUCTION! There are always those nuts out there that go overboard on bidding and of course the whole bidding war thing. I am ok with someone basing some price ideas on eBay as long as they are willing to work with me and be fair about things. I suppose my opinions come somewhat out of being stung over the years. It seems if I want an item, the prices go sky-high, but if I try to sell an item, I basically get raped. That is a good description of the 6 antique radios I auctioned off at a local auction house a while back. First batch of stuff I took up made nearly $200.. cool. I took even nicer radios up last time and made... $40! $200 invested in that stuff over time, got $40 back out of it. So, that ended me with auctions again. I expected to take some loss on the radios, but not that bad! All I am saying is: We all need to take prices on eBay with a grain of salt, whether we are buying or selling items. I've seen both the good side and the dark side of eBay and how it can come back to really bite you in the arse!
  10. lots of goodies up for sale right now on ebay. have lots of everything. check it out. http://www.ebay.com/sch/vanhalen909/m.html?item=252045534392&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  11. FA (eBay) : Protector Limited Edition Serial Number 74 / 100 By Alex Herbet For the Vectrex VERY Rare and highly sought after. Considered one of the best game ports ever made for the Vectrex as well as one of the most striking package options as a complete Vectrex game product. The feature also provides controlled access to a hidden bonus game. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 252218300997 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Protector-Limited-Edition-LE-Serial-74-Alex-Herbert-Rare-2003-Vectrex-Game-/252218300997 As some of you might have noticed I have taking more pictures of the items I am selling to enjoy after the listing is done. Just imagine what you can get your Apple 2 to do! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-II-peripheral-card-prototyping-PCB-classic-computer-/351415599198?hash=item51d200805e:g:ETIAAOSwYHxWQT2x I though about buying a few just to have them for a project later in life.

  17. A couple of recent Nintendo Virtual Boy listing for the homebrew title "Hyper Fighting" on eBay. Both look to be new. Or at least in a condition that is close to new. One listing has already ended.but still interesting for historical purposes. out of range of my wallet. Maybe some day a release of the larger ROM will be done. Until then I hop I can see this title on the floor at at another show like it was at the Let Play Gaming Expo in Texas. Cool to play the big release rather than smaller the demo/free version download ROM . 18. I know they're not exceptional, but I have a couple of Atari 2600 game lots on eBay. Mostly acquired from buying other lots or just extras that came with my Atari. I'm flexible, and seeing as they're not all in perfect condition, looking to sell them to someone who would enjoy playing them as much as I have. Don't be afraid to make offers / combinations; I've had a lot of good people deal with me lately, so I'm hoping to return the favor. Edit: Found some more games and posted them as one lot: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221896443524?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 I also have a few Colecovision games, some old PC games, and a couple Vic-20 games, but you can find those in my other items if need be.
  19. Not too long ago I didn't even own a heavy sixer. First I found my keeper and then quickly stumbled across two more. One I bought for the sears controllers it came with (my keeper is a tele-games) and the other I found on craigslist and grabbed for the CX-10's. I'm selling one of the two here (buyers choice) along with a pair of original CX-10's, Paddles, driving controllers and a few games. Auction started at 99 cents with no reserve and free shipping! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 301710555850
  20. 21. I recently won this auction for an Atari Lynx. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Atari-Lynx-System-w-1-Game-Power-Supply-/271891175231 It does work, but inside I found a nasty surprise. 6 leaky batteries, heavy corrosion. Mix of Energizer and Duracell. Use by date of July '94! Seriously, a baby born on this date would be old enough to drink by next month. Seller made no mention of said corrosion in the description or photos. Did they even bother to open the battery compartment? I want to clean this sucker up and rescue it from the dump, but I also want compensation for my efforts, ie partial refund. Before I pull out the vinegar and old toothbrushes, what do you guys recommend moving forward? I've not contacted them yet. Pics...
  22. I connected with a guy who used to work for Atari and had a bunch of factory sealed Atari Lynx games from when they company went out of business. I bought one copy of everything he had left for my own collection, and put the rest on eBay to help subsidize the big purchase. Now the main game I'm still in search of for Lynx is Batman Returns. Feel free to check it out my auctions.
