  1. Saw this on Shopgoodwill.com. Thought you guys might like to know about it.
  2. Would you still remember a post awhile back that informed about a company from Europe (The Netherlands, I believe) that makes sturdy acrylic video game console cases that can house a Raspberry Pi (or similar) minicomputer and I/O ports... is it called the GAMESTER, or the GAMEMASTER?!?! Would you—still—have their company's website address?! Thank You!
  3. I'm selling 2 1 PONG/Computer Space boxsets number 100 and 145. They are the black cartridge version. I'm asking $110 $99 ship or best offer. I'm also selling my Spunky's Supercar with the arcade machine boxart and my extra copy of Copter Command for the Intellivision. Copter Command $40, Spunky's SuperCar! $40 SOLD Added 7/26: Gulkave, top box flap kinda bad, $30, Star Force $40, both for $60 Module Man $40, Comic Bakery $40, $70 for both. All of these games have been used and played on the Colecovision, except for Pong and Computer Space Boxset since it is still sealed in plastic. These are prices with shipping. Shipping in USA only. Any questions, feel free to ask.
  4. Golden era shelf in my game collection. Got some cool new additions like Rubiks Cube and Silver label Gravatar for the 2600.
  5. Nice Intellivision ii...all wires and cables, picture soon
  6. Hello everybody, I know that most of you, even those that play more than collect, steer away from the Intellivision Programming Forum because it's just full of nerds. However, as you may have heard, we are running an IntyBASIC Programming Contest to showcase the work of some burgeoning and veteran Intellivision programmers and everybody is invited to take a look at their work. I would like to invite you all to take a stroll down the contest thread (just ignore the nerds, and keep your hands and personal items out of reach) and see what's cooking. With two weeks to go till the end of the contest, the pressure is on to polish and clean up all entries, and I'm sure that any feedback from you will be much appreciated. After all, who knows where the next Intellivision classic gem will come from -- it may as well be from one of these works in progress, and your feedback can contribute to its success. So how about it? Want to join us and play some games? All of them are in various stages of completion, but they are all playable, very interesting, and (mostly) original. Look at the screenshots, download the ROMs, give them a spin, and let the programmer know what you think. Any feedback is welcomed (those nerds love the attention! )! IntyBASIC Programming Contest 2018 -dZ.
  7. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 283058431526 Just what it says. Last set of overlays and manual I have.

I'm running out of real estate Please ignore the bed.
  11. https://www.facebook.com/groups/519858548078322/permalink/1340030559394446/ from " Michael Thomasson 2 hrs Okay, I can finally spill the beans on this project. AtGames is releasing a second Intellivision Flashback this fall and it will have the games you want by Data East (Burgertime, Lock 'n Chase, Bump 'n Jump, etc.) as well as the TRON games, and more! "
  12. I'm still not sure if it's clever to post it here, it's a little bit off topic. But it's made to honor the Intellivision. It's not the only Mod which i dedicated to the Intellivision but my most recent one.
  13. Hi everyone, So yesterday (Saturday - June 9th) I put up a pretty sick score in Space Armada, 207,760. I played it (Space Armada) alot as a kid in the 80's and then didn't play it for years, but last month I bought Intellivision Flashback so I am back playing it again. In the last month I have 5 scores over 100k. Years ago I put up many high scores. The 207,760 is probably my 5th best score ever, but it is definitely my best score in close to 35 years.... Cheers! These four consoles are by far the cheapest to buy and easiest to collect for. If you want to collect for Studio II, Astrocade, Channel F, Arcadia 2001 (Why are there so many of these?), APF-MP1000, Creativision, Adventure Vision, 5200(?), or vectrex (Sadly) you are a bit crazy perhaps. I'm looking at the Wikipedia page for second generation consoles... Why are there so many?!? No wonder the market crashed There were like... 18 different consoles worldwide... and that's just silly.

  16. Hi there! After being on hold for a while, IntelliXpander is moving along again. And we got to the point where we must decide about case design, so we can design the final PCB to fit that. Unfortunately we can't make multiple versions, that would be insanely expensive. So we must decide if we should go Intv I or Intv II style. A second question would be about cartridge format. We have both the option to keep using the Intv regular cartridge case or come up with a new cartridge format for the IntelliXpander games. Each has pros and cons. A new format means having two cartridge slots, one for legacy regular games and another for IntelliXpander games. Using the regular Intv cartridge means having a single cartridge slot, for both regular and enhanced games. Since we don't have an easily accessible mold for Intv cartridges, we will have to create one (as I don't want someone dictating me what I can and what I can't release), which means another huge investment. But having a single cartridge shell I can use on both ColecoVision SGM and IntelliXpander games would be a huge money saving and speed up things considerably. In the end it doesn't matter, to run IntelliXpander games you need the IntelliXpander, which would have the new cartridge slot anyways. It is probably more of a purist thing, I am checking if the idea deeply bothers the purist in you. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

  18. This Frogs (Gremlin, 1978) arcade video game shirt may be of interest to some of you. Frogs was developed in the 70s by Gremlin before they were bought by Sega. It has no relation to Frogger, developed by Konami and released by Sega in the states. A few years later, Frog Bog for the Intellivision bore a striking resemblance to Frogs. Shirt is available in tri-blend ($24) and cotton ($20). Once it's out of print in the next couple of weeks, it's done. https://videoarcade.bigcartel.com/product/frogs-shirt
  19. Hello again, I was here for a little while, got a couple of amazing systems thanks to some wonderful members here, and then disappeared into life (sinus insanity for 10 months now). But I'm back (not that you noticed me missing) and still haven't gotten some of the systems I'm after. I have had awful sinuses for the past year and haven't been able to go find them 'in the wild', and have had great luck here, so thought I'd try again. I'm looking for an Atari 5200 and 7800, Jaguar, Intellivision and, believe it or not, a CD-I. I have fond memories of the CD-I because of when and how I got it, it'd be a shelf sitter that gave me a gooey feeling inside. I'd prefer to deal with folks I can talk to on here than ebay, as I said last time. I'm not necessarily trying to find mint stuff, just in good shape and functional. If I want to pay too much, I've no doubt that I can go to a game store or ebay for that, please try to be fair (and I understand fair goes both ways). I'm open to other neat systems too if you happen to be looking to unload any. Thanks!

  21. Hello! I am trying to thin my extras and am starting with most of my colecovision, intellivision, Atari 2600 and Atari 5200 spares. Hopefully some others can enjoy these games There are a lot of games, mostly for the coleco and intellivision so as of now I am posting the list without pics. Generally I always like to start a thread with pics but with the list this big it has been a huge effort just to compile it and to try and keep from delaying my posting them for sale any longer I want to get the list up for everyone to look over. Hopefully I can add pics and more descriptions as time permits but in the meantime.... I am more than happy to post pics and detailed descriptions of anything serious buyers post interest about or send me pm's about. I will charge exact shipping on the total purchased and will likely give package deal discounts to larger orders. I will also happily consider trades from my large want list linked in my sig below as well. If there is something you are interested in and you think I am way off on my pricing please feel free to pm about it. Hopefully you find something of use, I'm more than happy to answer any questions as soon as I possibly can I have excellent feedback you can see in the link in my sig below. Sale is for just the loose console in decent condition, no chips or cracks, some amount of surface wear. It has the 2 hardwired controllers with both screw on sticks included. No power supply is included but it uses a very common 9v psu that can run from either 120 or 240 volts input. It is of course pal, so I have not been able to fully test it on my tvs. But I believe it should be fully functional. But it is sold as is since I cant fully test it. *Picture posted later in this thread. Asking - $95 Ormatu 2001 The Future Machine game system - loose console with hardwired controllers, complete with both screw on sticks. Hardwired rf cord. No A/C included but uses a common 9v dc output psu, and can use 120 or 240 input. Unit is PAL as are all consoles of the ormatu family that play arcadia 2001 games with this style cart pinout. This is a very hard to find console and a wonderful find for the arcadia collector. It is not fully tested as I don't have pal tv, but powers up and was tested working good when I originally bought it from my friend in Europe. Also includes a rare game (loose cart)...Parashooter for the ormatu (a very hard to find title for the arcadia...one of the hardest games to come by for the arcadia consoles) label has minor damage. 22. I'm finally getting around to posting the Blue Whale / Black Whale reverse engineering document. The document calls it Black Whale. But, in talking with Steve Roney and Bill Fisher, nobody there remembers any name other than Blue Whale for this device. In any case, there's extensive reverse engineering notes including schematics, commented disassembly, a user's guide, and pictures. All in all, about 100 pages of goodies. There's one little bit of disassembly on the 6502 side I haven't 100% worked out: The code that stitches the debugger into the KC's menu. The rest, though, is pretty thoroughly understood. Enjoy! ____________ Revision History 2018-04-23, A: Initial public release, immediately withdrawn 2018-04-23, B: Regenerated to fix some last-minute formatting issues. 2018-04-24, A: Corrected descriptions of code that rewinds PC when hitting a breakpoint, and the code that interprets SDBD : xxx@ Rx, R7 when single stepping. 23. All, I've made a minor but useful update to AS1600 in this release. jzIntv should be unchanged, other than to be freshly compiled. Download the update here: http://spatula-city.org/~im14u2c/intv/ Updates: The -m (aka --show-map) flag now works again. This will print a memory map summary for your program at the end of assembly. The new -e flag (aka. --err-if-overwritten) flag now enables ROM overwrite checks. (More below.) The new directives ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN and FORCE_OVERWRITE now provide the ability to warn about overwriting already-assembled ROM, with the ability to override the warning. What is ROM overwrite? First, the tl;dr: The most common symptom is that your program has started crashing and you don't know why. Add the '-e' flag to your assemble script, and this will become an assemble time error than a run time error. Longer explanation: Consider the following simple example: . ORG $5000 DECLE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 ORG $5004 DECLE 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 . This code assembles 8 words at $5000 - $5007, and then assembles 8 more words at $5004 - $500B. The second part overwrites the ROM assembled at $5004 - $500F. AS1600 currently does not warn about this. Usually, when this happens, it is an error, but occasionally it's a feature. For example, I'll often assemble a fixed pattern into memory, and then assemble my game over top of that, so I have a consistent fill value for the portions of ROM I'm not using yet. The latest release of AS1600 adds directives to control this behavior. I'll just paste the documentation from jzintv/doc/utilities/as1600.txt here: . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN expr Mark code as "not intended to be overwritten" FORCE_OVERWRITE expr Force code to be overwritten anyway ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ By default, AS1600 lets you assemble new code over addresses you've already assembled code into. That allows for some interesting tricks; however, most often this is really an error. The ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN directive controls a flag that indicates whether the code that follows may be safely overwritten. 0 means "safe to overwrite", while 1 means "throw an error if overwritten." >>> Note: ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN defaults to 0. You can change the default at >> the command line by adding the flag -e or --err-if-overwritten For example, if I wanted to fill some ROM with a fixed pattern, and then overwrite it with final code, I could do something like this: ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN 0 ; About to write some filler data ORG $6000 REPEAT 4096 / 8 DECLE -1, -1, -1, -1, -1, -1, -1, -1 ENDR ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN 1 ; Now overwrite it with real code ORG $6000 ; The following generates no errors or warnings. fun: PROC MVII #ISR, R0 MVO R0, $100 SWAP R0 MVO R0, $101 ;... ENDP ; This code, however, will trigger an error, because it's overwriting ; the code we just assembled at 'fun': ORG $6000 DECLE 12, 34 ; ERROR - ROM overwrite error on $6000 - $6001 The FORCE_OVERWRITE directive gives you the ability to forcibly overwrite code that was previously assembled with ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN == 1. Revisiting the previous example: ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN 1 ; Now overwrite it with real code ORG $6000 fun: PROC MVII #ISR, R0 MVO R0, $100 SWAP R0 MVO R0, $101 ;... ENDP ; With FORCE_OVERWRITE, this code now assembles without errors. FORCE_OVERWRITE 1 ORG $6000 DECLE 12, 34 The FORCE_OVERWRITE directive is meant for use in specialized macros that may wish to "back-patch" code that otherwise should have ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN turned on. Use it sparingly. There is no way to query the current state of ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN or FORCE_OVERWRITE. If you need to track that for some reason, wrap these in macros. Truth table: ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN FORCE_OVERWRITE Result on an overwrite off off No error off ON No error ON off Report an error ON ON No error Note that ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN tags current code to detect _future_ attempts to overwrite, while FORCE_OVERWRITE affects the code you're assembling right now. For example, this still generates an error, because the first DECLE was assembled with ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN == 1: ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN 1 ORG $6000 DECLE 1234 ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN 0 ORG $6000 DECLE 3456 Conversely, this example does _not_ generate an error: ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN 0 ORG $6000 DECLE 1234 ERR_IF_OVERWRITTEN 1 ORG $6000 DECLE 3456
  24. From the album: My Game Collection

I picked this up a while back, for $54.99 at my local V-stock. The box had some issues, and none of the packing foam, but the game console works well .
  25. Pitfall for Intellivision. Super clean. Unable to test since I don't have an Intellivision. Since no one wants to buy this thing, how about trading it for Atari 8-bit software?!? Thank you
