  1. Is there a list of release dates for Intellivision games somewhere? I realize that the dates aren't going to be actual days but even knowing the quarter of the year would be helpful. In particular, I'm interested in these games: Astrosmash Star Strike Donkey Kong (Coleco) Demon Attack (Imagic) Microsurgeon (Imagic)
  2. Do they exist? I found a link to the Winter 1989 catalog, but it was dead.
  3. Hi, I'm looking for CIB Tropical Trouble (Imagic) for Mattel Intellivision. Thanks for your offer Scalpel
  4. Hello, I would like to trade (or sell) some INTV games but before I would like to restore a box. Just one corner is broken... Do you have some advices ? Did you already did it before ? Thanks !
  5. Hey, This is my Intellivision Collection. I have to find 6 more games to complete it !
  6. Hey, I want to trade my special video game TILT magazines. It was the first French magazine for videogame. It started in September 1982 (Mattel introduced the Intellivision in the same period in France). The magazine disappeared in 1994. I'm going to trade 20 numbers and only the most collectable (very difficult to find especially the first numbers !) You'll find most of test for Intellivision, Atari, Colecovision, Vectrex and more games in. The 5 first are really collectionable (last year, the first one was seen once on eBay and was sold at 150 euros... The next 4 was sold around 40 to 50 euros each, the others are cheaper (but not cheap ). N°1 Septembre-Octobre 1982 to N°10 Mars 1984 N°14 Juillet 1984 to N°20 Avril 1985 N°22 Juin 1985 to N°25 Octobre 1985 The magazines are in a very good condition ! I'm looking for Intellivision CIB games : Learning Fun 1 and 2 SMB Spiker Safecracker Tropical Trouble Pole Position Commando Sewer Sam

  8. i didn't found something like that here (so quickly) so i thought why not make a hitlist of the worst intellivision games post here what you think is complete tard but give a short reason why you think that it is tard. i will start: no. 2) coleco Donkey Kong, i never liked it even when i owned it, i played it rarely, the controls are poor this was what displeased me most back then. no. 3) Pac-Man, same here, the controls are poor, if i compare it nowadays to the atari vcs release (no one i knew had a vcs), it's not that bad especially for the graphics, but i didn't played it often when i was young. besides, in both games i'm not good, even for the arcade originals. why do i bought them? because i ordered them for a fraction of the price from HK. no. 1) Zaxxon, even in the same shipping from HK, i was totally displeased, i liked Zaxxon in the arcade i nearto never played it at home. i ordered them blind the schedule i had had no pictures in it, a bareboned listing of available games typed on recycling paper (with a typewriter, recycling paper? no it was dark red, hard to read not to see when one would shine through with a light), many games was simply scored out with a ballpoint, i had to send that schedule back and after transferring the money i received the games. don't ask me i only know it was a grey import, unofficial, illegal, but to find new games for my console was more then just difficult in switzerland. mostly all coleco and parker was available, most intellivision games was scored out. so i decided simply by the name, this i know and that one i know. i guess that's already all which i didn't liked to play, the rest whatever and however simple they was i liked to play. i even liked to play that stupid racing game from triple action, i must have been very lonely back then. sometimes, because i haven't had so many games to choose from before i ordered the bunch from HK, i even played two player games alone, that's how i got good in soccer, i played it solo. i had the infamous chess, and i played it, i'm not a good chess player and sometimes i just entered a chess problem and watched the inty solve it. Jürgen, my buddy liked to play chess, but one day i smashed the chessboard on his head, i guess that was the last time we played chess yes, i was agressive, couldn't stand losing, violent-tempered. a well known plant helped me to leave that behind me.
  9. Pitfall for Intellivision. Super clean. Unable to test since I don't have an Intellivision. Since no one wants to buy this thing, how about trading it for Atari 8-bit software?!? Thank you
  10. Was up as an eBay Auction -- Item Number: 123000810513 $10 plus shipping.
  11. Hello again, I was here for a little while, got a couple of amazing systems thanks to some wonderful members here, and then disappeared into life (sinus insanity for 10 months now). But I'm back (not that you noticed me missing) and still haven't gotten some of the systems I'm after. I have had awful sinuses for the past year and haven't been able to go find them 'in the wild', and have had great luck here, so thought I'd try again. I'm looking for an Atari 5200 and 7800, Jaguar, Intellivision and, believe it or not, a CD-I. I have fond memories of the CD-I because of when and how I got it, it'd be a shelf sitter that gave me a gooey feeling inside. I'd prefer to deal with folks I can talk to on here than ebay, as I said last time. I'm not necessarily trying to find mint stuff, just in good shape and functional. If I want to pay too much, I've no doubt that I can go to a game store or ebay for that, please try to be fair (and I understand fair goes both ways). I'm open to other neat systems too if you happen to be looking to unload any. Thanks!
  12. Saw this on Shopgoodwill.com. Thought you guys might like to know about it.

  14. From the album: RetroIndieGamer's classic games collection

This is my Atari 2600 jr. and a few other goodies. To the left of the console is an Atari 2600 joystick, an Atari 2600 plug-n-play, an Intellivision plug-n-play, and a Genesis plug-n-play. To the right of the console is a Pac-man plug-n-play which has Pac-man, Super Pac-man, and Pac & Pal, and below it is the Atari 2600 paddle controller. Actually, it is the paddle controller for the Flashback 4, but it does work with the original unit,

  15. Several months ago, Bill Fisher found among his stuff (in his attic), a T-Card of Space Spartans that is a build of Space Spartans at the time it was handed over to Bill and I, after Mike Minkoff had started to look at what Brian Dougherty had been developing when he left the company. As you can see (I think), there are lots of things different about this version, as well as lots of stuff which don't work at all yet. But I will let you guys draw your own conclusions. Lathe26 ripped this rom earlier this year when I was in Seattle visiting my son, so I hope it is in a format that is easily usable for the standard emulators. SpaceSpartansDougherty.zip

I've always loved playing Boulder Dash and this is a fairly recent release for the Intellivision.

  17. Did you ever enjoy playing with food coloring? I did, many times. And that, plus my lifetime fascination with computers inspired me to come up with this blog. These are the 16 colors from the Intellivision, rendered in McCormick Food Coloring. It uses the standard red/yellow/green/blue, plus the neon purple/green/pink/blue, and black. Black: 8 parts Black Blue: 7 parts Blue, 1 part Red Red: 7 parts Red Tan: 2 parts Yellow, 1 part Red, 1 part Green Dark Green: 10 parts Green, 1 part Blue, 2 parts Black Green: 6 parts Green, 3 parts Yellow Yellow: 7 parts Yellow White: None Gray: 3 parts Black, 1 part Neon Purple Cyan: 3 parts Blue, 1 part Green Orange: 3 parts Yellow, 3 parts Red Brown: 7 parts Yellow, 6 parts Red, 6 parts Green Pink: 2 part Red, 1 part Neon Pink Light Blue: 1 part Neon Blue, 1 part Neon Purple Yellow-Green: 3 parts Yellow, 1 part Green Purple: 7 parts Red, 3 parts Blue And here's what they look like. Notice that they look kind of pastel, but that's because I used an opaque white paint as my medium. That does it for this segment. Next time, I'm going to render MSX colors using food coloring.

  19. Can the Power supply I have pictured work with my Intellivision 2 console? When I power the console on with the biggest sleeved adapter all I get is snow and lines. When I wiggle the adapter the console shuts off. I set the adapter to 12v and positive polarity. I also cleaned the games I was using. The consoles is hooked up to the television with a Atari 7800 cable going into a coax adapter on my tv.

  21. The attached image is from an INTV catalog. Was the Intellivision released by INTV with the blank lower faceplate as shown here? I have only seen the Super Pro and INTV System III faceplates there. I now have both the Super Pro and INTV System III versions, as well as Sears, Sylvania, Tandy, Mattel for the 2609 and the Intellivision II with and without the red stripe. Are there any other US varieties of the console? (I also have a Bandai system on the way).
  22. Not sure if this has been posted as a separate topic and I couldn't find one so here we go. Who here has preordered the sweet wood grain Amico Founders Edition? I purchased >1

  24. Hi All, Hoping someone can help me. I am trying to get a wireless 8BITDO controller working with jzintv on RetroPie with World Championship Baseball. I can use the keyboard and I can switch to the controller by toggling F7 - but I can only use the directional keys which are mapped to the keypad - but not the disc. That is, I can activate or throw to a player but can't move the player with the joystick. I know that my keyboard hackfile is working - the reset and power mappings work. For some reason the disc mappings do not work on this game alone. My hackfile is below. Any ideas? Other games are working fine.
