  4. I recently started paying more attention to my Nintendo 64 collection. I had a bunch of games that I bought with with system years ago, but I recently found out I can get some games for pretty cheap where I live. So before the local market changes, as it often does, I'll get as many N64 games as I can. At this point, I pretty much know what to look for: racing games, Mario, Zelda, Super Smash Bros. and some of those rare and elusive titles everyone pretty much knows about, but even if I have some experience with N64 games because I used to play a lot of ROMs on an emulator growing up, there are a lot of games I might not know about. I recently watched a video about Chameleon Twist 1 and 2 from My Life in Gaming and I'm definitely getting those because they look pretty good even if they didn't get glowing reviews back in the day. Also, I'm super excited because I just got a copy of International Superstar Soccer 2000 which can be quite expensive. Maybe I can get another cheap copy for the purposes of trading... I have to say I just have around 15 titles and none of them are extremely special, so I won't bore you with a list. But is there anything I might be missing from? Maybe a bunch of games that were ignored back in the day because the critics weren't very kind or something that arrived late in the system's life cycle? Thanks!
  5. Hi guys, For sale: rare unlicensed NES game Price: 49 Euro + shipping (10 Euro) If interested, reply or message me.
  6. I know there is a topic comparing the jaguar and the N64 and, no offense, but the N64 is clearly superior in almost every way. But im asking about fhe Jaguar 2, AKA: project midsummer. So this is project midsummer vs. project reality. Jaguar2 vs. N64 I would put the specs here but for some reason copy and paste won't work. N64 specs are the same in most places as more is confirmed but jag2 specs differ from place to place and i'm not sure which one to trust so be careful.

  10. I recently purchased this item at a flea market. It's a cassette port of Donkey Kong for the Coleco Adam that appears to have been released in 1984. It comes packaged in a cardboard box designed to look like the original arcade cabinet of the game. After purchasing the item, I tried to do some research on it. It was one of three arcade games that were given ports to the Adam with boxes designed after the original arcade cabinets. I only found a few pictures of the box on Google and found no current or completed listings of the game on eBay. The closest thing I found on eBay was a Zaxxon game in the cabinet-style box the was listed for about $500. I wanted to see if anybody knew about the history of the game or how much it is worth.
  11. From the album: Donkey Kong Arcade Sales Flyers

These are the original sales flyers used to promote the original DK & DK JR arcade games in the 1980s. As a huge ColecoVision fan I wanted to share these. And while they may not be specifically for the ColecoVision, Donkey Kong was a huge part of the legacy of that system. I'm also a huge Nintendo fanboy, so I bought them to frame behind my Donkey Kong arcade cabinet! Enjoy! =)

  15. Hi everyone! It's that time of the month again when I have the difficult task of deciding what I'm going to buy for my collection (a good problem to have, I know.) For the past few months I've been trying to focus on Nintendo stuff and an item that I've been meaning to get ever since it came out is the NES Classic Edition. I already have the SNES Classic and I think the NES one would be a fantastic addition to my collection. But I can't really find a reliable source when it comes to price. I checked eBay, Game Value Now, Price Charting, GameStop and a few more. Thing is, prices vary a lot and I have no idea how much the system really goes for. eBay prices in particular go for $100 or more for the used/incomplete system, so I have no idea if that's fine or not. The cheapest one I found where I live is around $65 with free shipping and it comes in the box, but not manual/poster, unfortunately. I'll include pictures below for reference. Can you help me out? I don't know if that's a good deal or not and I hate overpaying. Also, do you think the system will become more expensive/collectible as time goes on? Thanks in advance and I'm really looking forward to what you guys have to say about this!
  16. Nintendo's Gameboy Advance (GBA) was a world-wide success with 100's of great games for it. I choose 10 for my Top games for the handheld and show you some of the console versions I own. What games did I miss? Do you own any interesting versions of the GBA handheld?

  18. I've had a few people message me over the last couple months, so I'm putting my z64 package back up for sale. I've recently updated it with a Compact Flash drive and will include a 2GB card as well. This is your opportunity to own an immaculate Z64 Mr. Backup unit for the N64. It is complete in its original box(Great condition) with all the original paperwork and power adapter. The unit is VERSION 2, so it will play 256MB games. It currently has V2.20B firmware installed. 19. Does anyone have a different way of collecting? a "sub-collection" or just something cool they like to get they're games with? a sort of non-standard collection? Me, I enjoy having the price tag on my games, as long as they have a high price on them. I also enjoy having games in rental cases... I find that very odd. but its cool.
