    Batman page001

    From the album: Box games

  2. On Christmas I got the first two boxes of Batman: the Animated Series on DVD. You know, the classic 1992 series that basically wiped the floor with other cartoons due to its compatibility with both kids and older audiences. Best Batman series to date imo. I just enjoyed watching it again after many years... until I got to episode 15, first aired September 5th, 1992... almost a year before the Jaguar press conference. After the intro I was surprised about the title card. Cat eyes and red scratches on black background. Hmmh... does it look familiar? It was two-connected episodes, so they both had the same title card. Maybe it was not a good idea of Atari to draw inspiration from that, since that story is not really one of the better ones. Or maybe it is just a coincedence.^^
  3. Within the next few months Raw Thrills is launching a Batmobile game. Made by the same team which did H2Overdrive and Dirty Drivin (also a few of them worked for Midway BITD, and created Hydro Thunder). One unique thing about it we know so far it that its more of an open world driving game as opposed to closed circuits. That's unusual for an arcade title. There was a video of it but it was taken down not long after I ran the story. There are a few beta screenshots though. I am sure we'll see more of it soon: http://arcadeheroes.com/2013/07/22/next-from-the-makers-of-h2overdrive-dirty-drivin-batmobile/

    Atari Lynx Posters

    From the album: My Home

Here's a photo of my wall as it looks now, with several DC comics posters above a line of Atari Lynx game manual posters, and a couple of Krome Studios game posters below those. I intend on replacing the Hellboy poster (a DVd promotional poster from a video store) with another DC poster, either Wonder Woman, The Flash, or a Teen Titans poster depending on what I find first. There's a Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure poster (the Lynx one) below the Scrapyard Dog poster, since that area is where my games/computer room merges into the movie viewing area.
  5. Hi all! There's an awesome image I've been craving! It's the scene where Batman tiger-punches the Penguin Street Fighter style. I did find the attached file, which is from the same scene. It's great, but it's farther into the animation than I'd like. Also its resolution is too low. I should have gotten this game for PC! Unfortunately I got it for XBox and, thus, I'm unable to take the screen cap myself. I'd be eternally it if somebody could take some hi-rez screen caps of this animation! I'm totally fanboy-gasming at the thought. --note-- I did do a search to see if somebody else requested this image. I didn't come across it. I apologize if this is a redundant post.
