I just discovered that there is a PPU swap mod that adds RGB support and 31kHz PPU for eliminating the flicker. Granted, it does not work on the Front-loader NES or PAL/SECAM units, but for those with a Twin Famicom or a Top-Loader unit and excellent soldering skills: have at it!

RGB Blaster + Humble Bazooka shell $110 shipped to U.S. and Canada. The RGB Blaster plugs into an NES or Famicom cart slot and outputs high quality RGB video. It is a Famicom cart, so an adapter is required for NES consoles and a front loader would require modifying the console shell or leaving the top off for the RGB cable. These are pretty much unusable without a Humble Bazooka shell, which is included. It is not compatible with all PPUs and not at all with clones. Hardware mods may also affect the compatibility of an RGB Blaster. You can learn more about it here: https://krikzz.com/our-products/cartridges/rgb-blaster.html Here is footage recorded from the RGB Blaster for sale:

Hi guys, Well, I’d like to have a Master Everdrive that is not the X7 so no save states or whatever and I also want a regular Famicom N8 Everdrive. I do not want the Pro. Please PM if you have any of those cartridges, but even if you do, I’ll let you know when I want to buy them.

Just when you thought it was merely a rumor, the evidence proving it true finally shows itself: Gaming Alexandria's article: https://www.gamingalexandria.com/wp/2022/06/fairyland-nes/ Looks like Retro Core may have to do an update video on Battle of the Ports.

Hi! A few people know NESLCDMOD or the Hyperkin Hyperblaster HD, that lets you play Duck Hunt on LCD/LED screens using a patched ROM, which compensates the otherwise deal breaking delay. In summer 2020 Jason W. Thompson added LCD Zapper clone gun support to FCEUX (a good NES emulator). In this video I am using it on the non-patched, real Duck Hunt ROM in an almost lag free setup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zikiFYUYBj0&t=313s Spoiler: It works^^

MAME 0.234 Hi everyone! After four busy weeks, MAME 0.234 is ready! Newly supported systems include Runaway (a licensed version of Sega’s Head On made by Sun Electronics), Konami’s Magical Twin Bee (the European version of Twin Bee Yahhoo!), and Tronica’s LCD hand-held Spider (same program as Space Mission, but with different artwork). Although it was added last month, VS Mahjong Triangle is now working. This is a rare early example of a mahjong game supporting two simultaneous single-player games, or a two-player game – a format popularised a decade later by Psikyo’s Taisen Hot Gimmick. There have been two significant sets of improvements for 3D arcade games this month: rewritten 3dfx Voodoo Graphics emulation, giving significant performance gains in many cases, and continued development on Konami’s ZR017 and GTI Club hardware. Although not directly related to 3D graphics, bug fixes for the Fujitsu TGP DSP make Motor Raid more playable. We haven’t forgotten 2D arcade games – Namco racing games have seen another round of fixes for missing or incorrectly positioned sprites, and missing sprites are now drawn in Data East’s Chanbara. For home systems, our friend kmg has been hard at work adding support for pirate NES/Famicom cartridges, and Brian Johnson has fixed a couple of video issues on the Epson QX-10. Kelvin Sherlock added support for the LANceGS card, providing another networking option for Apple II users. You can read about everything that’s been going on in the whatsnew.txt file, and the source and 64-bit Windows binary packages are available from the download page. Read the rest of this entry »

I had this machine for a very long time in my collection of weird clone hardware, this one is probably among my rarest ones. Is a 64k pc similar to an commodore 64, that has a famicom built in, its a weird specimen even for famiclone standard, it uses a specific 5v ac adapter, wich makes some games have sound error's and visual glitches. Uses nes ports for the controllers, and has an expansion port that i still have no clue whats for, i have two of these but this is the only one that i have that has a fully working keyboard, the machine was bought in 1992 from a magazine number in CDMX, is a very interesting piece of clone hardware, and the last of the 3 bit corp computers. Im thinking about trading it for other weird clone console, or maybe another Gentry sufami clone to fix mine, if someone is interested pm Anyway, has someone ever heard of these computers by BitCorp before?

Hello everyone, I thought I should show my small collection, since I am fairly new to this website. As of today, I have four Atari 2600's manufactured under Atari itself (no Sears products, except for the Tele-games game center), the original famicom and super famicom, the original SNES, an original NES, and four old computers (Macintosh SE, Commodore VIC-20, and an Apple IIE). It seems that I have more hardware than software, which is a shame.
