Here is the second game for the Atari Lynx from the Retroguru Team. This game is an entry for the Atari Lynx 30th Birthday programming competition. The game can be dovnoaded or played online here. Nutmeg is an extended version of Photon Storm's HTML5 game Nutmeg, which is a one button side scrolling jump and run game. The first five levels are the original ones. Other levels are new and an original creation. Retroguru kindly thanks Richard Davey (Photon Storm) and Ilija Melentijevic for permission to pick up on Nutmeg. The goal of the game is to rescue the blue ducks kidnapped by an evil guy. There are five world, each with five levels. But the last worls is hidden somewhere. At the end of every levelyou'll get a small clue. Collect all of them and try to guess what they mean and how/where to use them to unlock the hidden world. The game logic is very simple, use any key to jump. Keeping the key pressedyou can do several jumps in a row. But jumping isn't always the best thing to do. To solve levels you has to momorize the path and learn where to jump and the corect timing. It's not as easy as it can seems. In some levels there are cactus, spikes, pink cats and rolling stone balls to make everything harder. When you know how to beat a level, you can try to make a hghscore taking all the stars you can, but not all the stars can be taken. Attached you can find a text file with instructions and redits, but here are the most important informations you need: Controls: MUTE/UNMUTE MUSIC = OPT2 ROTATE SCREEN = PAUSE + OPT2 RESET HIGHSCORES = OPT1 + OPT2 Menu controls: UP = UP BUTTON DOWN = DOWN BUTTON LEFT = LEFT BUTTON RIGHT = RIGHT BUTTON SELECT = A BUTTON BACK = B BUTTON Game controls: JUMP = A BUTTON, B BUTTON or ANY DIRECTION KEY PAUSE/UNPAUSE = PAUSE BUTTON BACK TO MENU = PAUSE + OPT1 Game setup Nutmeg for Atari Lynx can be played on a real Atari Lynx writing an EEPROM Lynx cart of at least 256 KB with the nutmeg.lnx file (removing the starting 64 bytes header), or using a RetroHD SD cart. It can also be played on Lynx emulators, but most emulators will have sound issues. The game saves higscores if a Lynx cart with an extra 128 bytes EEPROM chip is in use. Emulators need to support EEPROM emulation. To enable saves on a RetroHQ SD cart, a file named nutmeg.sav of 128 bytes must be created on the SD in the /saves/ folder (the content of the file is not important and will be overwritten at first use). Note: usually Retroguru games need several months of testing to polish everything; for this competition we had only 3 months to do everything from scratch, but in the next month we will continue to make small improvements to the game, so please leave us feedbacks so we can improve it. nutmeglnx.txt

This just to let you know the date of The 2022 Harmony Games will start on on March 14th,2022. based on the categories of The 4th Annual Atari Homebrew Awards we will be using the following categories. Time to announce the first Ports Game of the 2022 Harmony Games Tournament which is Turbo Arcade by Champ Games which won for Best Work in Progress-Ports in the 4th Annual Atari Awards(2021) Unlike other Games in this Tournament where you can play on hardware or emulator (Stella) This game can only be played using Stella as game can not be played using Harmony cart or other flash carts. Here is the rules: Play on standard level Difficulty A on left (manual shifting) B on right(display cars passed) for score to count you need to pass at least 5 or the max of 30 cars in the first round We are using the current rom from the champs game website which can be found at Champs Games Download Page As this is a Ports Round for Harmony Games Scoring for bonus points start at 9pts for first place and ends with 1pt for 9th place and each place after. This just to let you know the date of The 2021 Harmony Games will start on on March 8th,2021. based on the categories of the 2020 Atari Homebrew Awards its narrowed to 4 that we will be used for each Round: Original Games for normal scoring points (10pts for 1st place ends with 1pt for 10th place) Round 1: Best Work in Progress: Knight guy in low res world Round 2: Best Graphics: Nijishguy in low res world (Unholy did win but there is no scoring system on the game, so we went second place winner ) Round 3: Best Homebrew <4k Game: Cannonhead Clash (Dog Gone it did win but it also won best Original so again we went second place winner) Round 4: Best Original: Dog gone it -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- with the addition of Port games to the Awards we added them as Bonus scoring taking the same time as the orignal games round, Scoring for bonus points start at 9pts for first place and ends with 1pt for 9th place Round 1 Bonus: Best work in Progress(Port): Zeivious Round 2 Bonus: Best Graphics: Tower of Rubble(Port) ( Zookeeper won but it also won best port, so again we went with second place winner) Round 3 Bonus: Best Homebrew (Port) <4k: Robot City Round 4 Bonus: Best Port: ZooKeeper Like before we will be using the latest build of each game if the programmer allows otherwise we will be using the same roms that was voted for. rules for the first round games will be posted after I play each game few times and read the instructions(if any) to see about difficulty settings as well. Hi, I like to play backups on my Wii U but my current flash drive is out of memory. Can I format and use a second flash drive? Will it work with WUP installer GX2 ? My only other recourse is to install one larger drive and re-transfer all the backups... Anyone using two USB flash drives for backups? How did you do it?

So my crappy work computer, a dell, doesn't have a CD burner. My MacBook pro at home, though 5 years old, with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel, does. Does anyone on here burn homebrew games on a Macintosh, and if so how do you go about it? A step by step would be helpful, as my computer literacy these days extends to Microsoft office suite. I've had some community members offer to burn me a few games and send them my way (and I offered to remunerate for expenses of course) but nothing ever came to fruition. I'm at the point where I'm ready to get off my butt and do it myself so any help would be much appreciated. I do have protector SE and a B&C bypass cart if either of those are necessary to boot (encrypted?) games..

it is done. axe version 0.75 is here. all in assembler and it was a deep jump into 6502. after this i love the 68000 of my atari st years back even more! what shall i say, just play and find out if you can finish it. # gamemechanics kill the others. you can only kill a enemy if he is not stabbing you. otherwise flew over the screen border. # controlls - left and right - fire for starting and slash # claim don't get stabbed .-) i hope you enjoy the this 5 minute game working with no rainbow effects .-) wish a good week t00cg from la1n.ch AXE_75.zip

Hello. About 2 weeks ago I've orderd 4 homebrews from the store and since then the order status is still pending. I've tried emailing to the sales email address about a week ago and yet recieved any form of response from them. I understand that they do take a little bit to process the order but two weeks and nothing has happend seems a little much. I fell as if I'm getting scammed! Could anyone tell me what's going on?
