  4. Never opened, new in box Sears Tele-games console and original games, paddles and joysticks. Sears version of the classic Atari 2600. This is the 'heavy sixer' version made in Sunnyvale California. The box is unopened as shown in the pictures. All the original parts, manuals, games, controllers, paddles, joysticks, power supply and packaging is original and intact inside. Parents bought two of these, one for me and one for my sister growing up in the late 1970's. We only ever opened and played with one of them and this one was forgotten about at my parents house until recently when I found it in their attic. This is a rare find as I am sure anyone on this site would know. Asking $500 OBO. Contact me at Camberdan@icloud.com if interested
  5. This is a new game I made for Gameboy Color! The files attached are: Label (.png file) Gameboy Color Rom (.gb file) Enjoy! HyperWarpV1.gb

  7. SCRAMBLE is cming to a ColecoVision near you!!! 1744567429_ScrambleAdTeaser.mp4
  8. I've been hinting that this was in the works for a while now. And I figure its time to start revealing a bit of what I have been working on for the last 1-1/2 years. I call it the 1088XEL. Why? Well for one thing thanks to Lotharek's U1MB board and the on-board 64K RAM, there is a total of 1088K of usable memory. Basically the idea behind this project is to create something that is designed from the ground up to accept some of the most popular upgrades as plug-in daughter boards. Yes no more making up wire harnesses, crimping terminals, scratching your head and trying to figure out where to mount things. The other goal of the project is create a very small footprint mother board. I'm talking about something in the area of 6" x 6" (15x15 centimeters). And to utilize only thru-hole components, as well as the original five A8 LSI chips (Sally, Antic, GTIA, Pokey, PIA). Actually there will be an additional Pokey on board to support Stereo Sound. If you've been following some of my other projects, then you've witnessed the nesting technique I wish to exploit when laying out this board, which is how I will get it shrunk down to such a small size without resorting to surface mount devices. The first prototype will initially be created as an NTSC version board, but will provide support for an upgrade path to PAL via a future daughter board design, an oscillator change, and of course PAL Antic and GTIA chips. I have taken some liberties at reducing the component count by eliminating capacitors, some support chips (through utilization of SRAM memory), and just not caring too much about RFI radiation issues. Me bad So for all intents and purposes this will still be a 'real' Atari 8-bit computer as far as the basic hardware is concerned (not an FPGA implementation). Now for the big reveal (please keep in mind that these are preliminary schematics, and that the design is still in flux, so in other words there might be a few mistakes and omissions )... - Michael
  9. This is a work in progress.. will be happy to add anything missing - Greg A few bits of information, rules and guidelines on posting. Short links to our sub-forums: TI-99/4A Computers http://ti99.atariage.com TI-99/4A Development http://dev99.atariage.com Please read the AtariAge site guidelines which apply to and are enforced in our subs. Our sub-forums are divided to help cater to the varied interests in our beloved platform. The parent sub-forum, TI-99/4A Computers, contains general information and conversation regarding the TI-99/4A and its siblings, such as the 99/2, 99/8, CC-40, and BASICALCS. The sub-forum TI-99/4A Development is for conversations, information, announcements, etc. pertaining to programming, tinkering, or the development of software or hardware for these computers. This division is not intended to be a separation of the community but rather a way for those who have little interest in development but moreso in general discussions to focus their time on the fun-zone, while those who take more interest in the deep-down nitty-gritty and not so much general shenanigans to focus their attention just the same. The rest of us can spend all the time we want and will peruse both subs with reckless abandon. Insofar as development is concerned, once hardware or software has been completed or is at least ready for general consumption, an announcement should be made in the general TI-99/4A Computers forum for all to partake. Further development and inquiries should still be continued within the TI-99/4A Development sub-forum. The forum leader will move threads to a more appropriate forum. This may also be done by request should a thread be started in the wrong forum by accident or the trajectory changes from general to development or vice-versa. The forum leader will also merge identical threads started in both forums into a single thread in the proper forum. Per AtariAge guidelines, please refrain from posting identical threads in both sub-forums as way to ensure the topic gets viewed. Many people already browse both subs, and if your topic pertains more to development rather than general, or vice-versa, the thread should exist in the appropriate forum. As well, multiple threads created on the same topic in the same forum will be merged. Regular members can edit a post for 60 minutes after submission. This allows you to fix any issues you may notice with the post right away. Subscribers can edit posts for 30 days. In the Marketplace and Programming forums you can edit your posts indefinitely, since the flexibility of allowing editing of posts outweighs the potential abuse of the edit functionality. If you make a duplicate post in a thread, which can happen by accident or some unforeseen technical glitch, report the post by clicking on the "report" link at the bottom of the post and indicate in the report that the post is a duplicate. If you are not a subscriber, please help support AtariAge by using the eBay BBCodes ebay, ebayseller, and ebaystore when posting links to eBay! Click here for more information. Anything you would like to share with your fellow 99ers but is seriously off-topic for the forum may be posted in the official off-topic thread, located here To find the most popular threads click on sort by and select most popular. All of us are ready and willing to provide answers to your TI-99 questions if we can, some will just chime in if they cannot, and others will just lurk. If you have any questions specifically pertaining to the operation of our forums, please feel free inquire of the forum leader via Private Message (PM,) or one of the global moderators. BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS PLEASE READ THE UPDATED TI-99/4A FAQ HERE: https://www.arcadeshopper.com/wp/ti-99-4a-faq/
  10. Making a new Genesis / Megadrive game. It's an arcade blaster for 1 or 2 players with a bumping soundtrack and neon visuals. It has arcade modes, VS, and endless survival. I'll use the campaign money to manufacture cartridges! Kickstarter now live! I'll do my best for you! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/donstathemonsta/paddles-of-nuclear-gunnery-new-game-for-sega-genesis-md I'm not a good video editor, so be gentle! I promise there won't be lies in the campaign, just good old fashioned accountability and a low overall ask in order to get this game printed and shipped!
  11. Hi there all, I'm new to this community as I've just got myself an Atari Jaguar so what normal thing do you do first is look for active communites and forums. I am from the UK and looking to chat with fellow Jaguar owners and maybe look at starting up/restoring the UK Jagfest scene whether that be just meeting up once a year to discuss the latest homebrew/ports or just share memories or go head to head on games such as Doom etc in a LAN style event. Already liking the look for the site and glad UK shipping on the carts in store is due to re-open. Regards James
  12. I bought a new in box joust cart. I looks legit but I’m not so sure. Is there a way to tell if it’s fake? Thanks for your help.
  13. Okay, the time has finally come. I'm going to make a new drop-in replacement PCB for the ColecoVision. Other form factors such as portables could be made in the future (but not right now). This is still a ColecoVision; I've been calling it a CV-1.2. It's a regular CV with some improvements; it's not the next generation CV-2 with more graphics modes, audio channels, bits, etc. Here's the feature list of the CV-1.2: Component (YPbPr) video output - both RCAs and 1/8" jack provided Composite video output - both RCA and 1/8" jack provided - I don't really want to add this, but I'm guessing it's pretty much required, right? VGA (pure analog, not an F18A type solution) video output - I'm not sure if this will work yet, so don't count on it Audio output - both RCAs and 1/8" jack provided - mono of course, but two outputs available for stereo TVs 24K RAM - for Adam conversions such as Super Zaxxon and Dragon's Lair Static RAM for VDP - instead of DRAM Extra controller ports - to use 2 button Atari 7800 (or 2600), Sega SMS, Sega Genesis controllers Extra keypad support - could be added on the top of the CV console (useful if using Atari or Sega controllers) Easily replaceable controller input chips Single +5V input - either via standard CV power supply or smaller/efficient adapter Internally created -5V and +12V output - Atari Expansion Module support Output voltage for Roller controller - via standard CV power jack Power on LED - multicolour Alternate BIOSes - standard 10s delay, 3s delay, 10s/fire delay, etc. Pause button - capacitive so it's hidden (hopefully), also turns on light, and turns off audio output Built-in 31 game multi-"cart" - activated if no game is inserted Expansion module circuitry remains - for SGM and Atari Expansion Module support All new parts used - except for VDP and audio, which use NOS (new old stock) parts Fits in standard CV case - existing holes in back of CV will likely line up with A/V output and power input The features listed are meant to improve the quality of play of the system, for instance by adding proper video outputs, extra controller/keypad inputs, pause switch, and the simple multicart. The reliability of the system is improved by using static RAM for the VDP, allowing a standard 5V power adapter to be used (this should also make the power switch less finicky), making the controller input chips easy to replace, and using brand new parts. If there are features missing that you think should be added, please feel free to discuss. Unfortunately, this isn't going to be cheap. As usual, I'll do my best to make it as affordable as possible. I'd also like to make a bare-bones version that is still reliable, but doesn't provide some of the extras such as multicart, extra controller inputs, etc. As mentioned, a 31 game multi-"cart" is included. I don't want to add games that I don't have permission to include, so if there's anyone who has games or utilities that could be added, whether it be full or demo versions, please contact me. I'm not sure what kind of compensation could be given, but that's all up for discussion, I guess.
  14. I was considering purchasing a 7800 just for a few select titles but mostly because I can have one system hooked to my TV as I have 50+ 2600 games, and the backwards capability is very attractive in this set up, my question is, Was an adapter ever made or thought up for the Atari Jaguar to play 2600 games? Ala the power base for the Sega Genesis that allowed master system games to be played on it?
  15. Hello, I'm new here on atariage, because I need some advice. I have bought in 2008 from Atari2600.com 2 Original Boulder Dash cartridges for the Atari 5200. Yellow one with serial: 080 of 100 Red one with serial: 085 of 100 I have only opened the shippingbox they came in and never the games them self, so they are new and in the seal. So I have the Original shippingbox and bill and email proof form JC Atari2600.com. They are Original FSS release by Atari2600.com see year 2006 (https://firststarsoftware.com/boulderdash-htm/) I only want to know what they are worth today? Many thanks!
  16. I have finished a new game I've been working on. Its based on the text based game Big Rig. I have tried to keep the feel of the original game while improving the interface and visual aspects. Ive wanted to do an Oregon Trail style game since I was a kid. I could never really think of a good topic to do and didn't want to do a clone. I felt this would be a fun project. So basically this game is a 1990ish sorta edutainment simulation style game where you drive from Los Angeles to New York. If anyone feels like checking it out here is a link. https://elijahgardner.itch.io/...ing-ms-dos
  17. I'm after any reasonably priced good or better condition Hit Squad games for the C64. I'm open to Spectrum or Amstrad versions also. Or any other system as long as it is a Hit Squad I'd be interested. Also have an interest in Atlantis , Players and Hi-Tec games also... Feel free to email me a list of what you have and what you want. Thanks
  18. Hi guys! I and my friend decided to bring something new to you. The joystick. But we need some feedback before it. Description: We decided to find out a way how to make new Atari Joysticks and similar joysticks with 3D printer. We try to have as similar as possible construction for the same impression of playing games like the original old joysticks. But we have one thing in our construction different. Our Stick will be exchangeable and modulable. We will have more types of sticks and you can choose what type you want. Sticks will have different shape, size etc. Our questions are: 1) Is this idea interesting for you? 2) Are you looking for some new joystick because your old was damaged? 3) What types of sticks do you prefer? What joysticks do you like? What was your favourite joystick in 80/90's? ( CX40, QuickShot etc. ) 4) Would you like exchangeable stick at your joystick ( when you will get tired of the old type of stick you can simply change it for another one ) or you'd rather buy another new joystick when you want to exchange the stick? 5) Is the autofire function important for you? 6) How long stick movement do you prefer? ( short movement is like pressing a small button, long movement is like pressing a key on your keyboard ) 7) Do you like an idea that you can buy only the 3D data for your 3D printer and make it for your own? 8) Do you have some tips why this idea doesn't make sense? For example you can buy really new QuickShot on Ebay etc. Progress: Thank you for your time, sharing and answers! Best regards, EnJoyStick Team
  19. I am pleased to announce that the Kickstarter campaign for the boxed edition of Nox Archaist is now live! Click here to pledge! 20. New MiniVex controller for Atari 2600 / VCS combines a joystick, paddle, and driving controller all in one unit! Up until now, MiniVex controllers were made for the Vectrex (with the exception of the MiniVex Pedal I, which is compatible with both Vectrex and Atari) but this one is strictly Atari compatible. Compact size fits right in your hand, see second photo for size comparison. ONE cord and ONE plug, you can play your favorite games, one after the other, without having to unplug and plug in all the different controllers. Case is made of tough steel, has a weighty feel to it. Two toggle switches on the back. One selects joystick or paddle function, and the other toggles between paddle "A" and paddle "B." The black button on the back enables and disables the driving controller. Two buttons for your convenience, no matter if you're left or right handed. Either button can be used with any of the three controllers. Driving controller on the left, paddle on the right. Joystick in the center has the feel of an analog stick but functions like a digital one. All new parts used in the making, so there'll be no jittering during Breakout or Indy 500. This and other MiniVex controllers are hand-made by me, so they aren't cosmetically perfect. They do come with a 30-day repair guarantee. A handful of these will be auctioned on eBay during the next few weeks, as they get made. The hand-making process is slow, and how many will ultimately be made remains up in the air at this point. Please see this and my other eBay listings under seller name "classicgamesandcarsfan." Larry
  21. I recently bought a broken intellivision off of eBay, and after messing around with it i believe that the problem is the CPU. I don't have a working unit, or any other units for that matter. I was hoping i could find a new cpu (preferably a whole board, in case there is any other problems with it) from someone on this form. I really want to try and play some intv games, especially since they are cheap.
  22. I designed some new cover labels that fit directly onto Intellivision cartridges. These measure 1.9 x 2.5 inches and fit perfectly on the top of the games. They are high definition pictures on glossy die cut photo paper. So far I have made over 50 simulated screen shots and am now working on the hard to find & rarer games in the INTV line up. Those later titles will take a bit longer to make as I don't own a few of them. LMK if anyone is interested in putting them onto their own games. It really makes the cartridges pop with the new labels instead of the basic end caps they have now.
  23. Hi everyone. First post here. I am looking to purchase a new (in box/unopened) Atari 2600. Are there any out here being sold? Thanks!
  24. Hi, I am having an issue with getting a simple display going. What's supposed to happen is a brown smiley face is supposed to appear.on the screen. Instead, all I get is a black screen with nothing being shown. I tried using the debugger, but couldn't figure out what was going on as it kept getting stuck on the line checking to see if the players y position is equal to the current scanline until the overscan period.
