  1. Hey All, Here's a TOD game I have been working on called Auto-Motion...Have fun! EDIT: I made a few adjustments and re-uploaded to ver 1.1 *************************************************************************** Release of Windows TOD Editor 1.4.6 Just a quick release to repair the 'TI-Files header' save issue Added routine to add or remove the header if needed. 'Save As' now saves the current file and reopens the new one, also added 'Save Copy As' to only to save a copy but not open it. Many new options are available to alter, you can now have up to 8 different quest images as opposed to 2, you can change the player start money, weapons, items, food cost etc. set min and max available floors, you can change the level colors and door/wall textures. It has a database of over 300 monster images to choose from with just one click. From the Monster Data screen you can scroll through the entire list of all 56 monsters, see their images and listen to their sounds, and a List button to see and print monster data on one list. You can edit all weapons, armor, magic items(scrolls, wands, etc) with ease. You can also now have up to 4 different scroll images, or 2 large ones. Plus a lot more. It has been tested on WinXP, Vista, Win7 both 32 and 64 bit & Win8 64bit (On Vista/Win7/Win8 with UAC on, you MUST run the program with 'Run as Administrator' so it will save files correctly) You will get an error '75' when you try to save, if you don't. I will answer all questions and comments here on this post. And post updates here. Fritz442 AUTOMOTION v 1.1.zip TOD Editor v1.4.6.zip
  2. Unboxing and first impressions of the playability of this brand new Super Famicom 1 on 1 fighter!! Released today - April 10th 2017
  3. It's Easter time and what better way to celebrate than to play a new Atari Lynx game from Atari Gamer - Eggsavier's Cackleberry Rescue. This is a LCD style game in the theme of the famous Game and Watch type consoles. There is a little bit of colour and music thrown in on the title screen but once you get to the game itself, it's very reminiscent of these old style LCD consoles! Here's a short introduction article about this game - https://atarigamer.com/articles/eggsavier-s-cackleberry-rescue---a-new-game-for-atari-lynx You can play it online via the Atari Lynx emulator here - https://atarigamer.com/lynx/play/EggsaviersCackleberryRescue/926170969 ...or download the ROM here - https://atarigamer.com/ag-api/lynx/rom/EggsaviersCackleberryRescue/926170969 Here are some screenshots...
  4. ok here you go! Gravity Gravity-1v1.ATR Entry for the Abbuc software contest 2015 A new Turbo BASIC game for the Atari XL/XE by Jason Kendall © Kendallsoft 2015 Music player RMT Music "brainless 3" by radix/solitude Files: gravity.tur program game file grav.hi high score file will be automatically created rmtmono.ply RMT player brainl.ssf exported RMT music file If you want to save the high scores the disk must be write enabled Instructions: Press Fire! That's it! More? Ok... Drop your moving blocks onto the highest row of the blocks at the bottom of the screen. Any blocks that miss fall off, and are lost... forever... too dramatic? Yes, as you may get extra blocks for completing a level! If you make it to the top you will reach the next level. If you don't lose any blocks you get a bonus. Every 3rd level there is a bonus game and a chance for some extra points. You are not out if you don't get a bonus. The more blocks you have left the more chances you have on some of the bonus levels. What a load of blocks! Have fun Jason v1.1 Released 25th October 2015: fixed first bonus screen bug with block disappearing and reinstated the colour variations. As it's a basic game, rememeber to hold fire for a second to make sure it registers, a quick press may not be detected. Works on NTSC too but I've not slowed it down, so please let me know if it is too hard Post your scores for Gravity or any of the games, in the High Score Club's play-every-game-from-2015/ thread
  5. After a lot of assembles here is my game Ramp Rage v1.2 I've commented on just about every game released in recent times so here's your chance for revenge, comments welcome, good or bad. Yes it's probably still fairly hard on the default level "normal" but easy is easy. Once you've played a few times you should get through a couple of levels and start to learn what is what. It is intended to offer a lasting challenge. The high score club guys play tested v1.1 and I've since made a few changes; hopefully not sanitised the game too much! I've struggled to get all the game elements to work together, probably as I have stuck with movement in a window, rather than fixed vertical position like in other vertically scrolling games. It will never be perfect and probably v1.3 will come after some of you have played it more! Full instructions here Ramp Rage - Instructions v1.2.pdf Download the Game here Ramp Rage - Boot Game v1.2.ATR (1050 enhanced density) probably could be made into a file version but I've used lots of odd addresses. Post any scores here Ramp Rage High Scores Video of level 3 (spoiler: shows docking) Ramp Rage Video #2.wmv Video showing PMG shield Ramp Rage Video #1.wmv Let me know if it doesn't run on your system or you need a file version or single density disk version creating. If you have NTSC and PAL systems I would really like to hear what you think about the comparative speeds, and if one plays better than the other? Possible issues: NTSC TV's: speed gauge may not be fully visible (probable), please post if you can't see 4 segments of the gauge. May lose a life, even with the PMG Shield: if collecting power-up and baddie at same time (probable) Some levels may not have enough fuel (unlikely) Baddie may get stuck in margin area (possible), if you collect last target docker will not appear until this goes off screen, may take way too long Non-moving obstacles may make sections impossible to pass (possible) Have Fun trbb
