  4. Even to this day, the PlayStation 2 is my favorite home console. After all, the PS2 had thousands of games to choose from, a DVD player and backwards compatibility with the original PlayStation, among other amazing features. I still own dozens of PlayStation 2 games in my collection, but I know I missed several games a lot of people are passionate about (I never got to the play Persona 4, Ratchet & Clank, Timesplitters, Sly and Disgaea.) So apart from sharing some of my favorite titles, I encourage you to share yours. It's never too late to play some of those classics. Top 10: My Favorite PlayStation 2 Games

  7. Just added 17 Playstation 2 games with no sports titles. I have not gone through and tested all of these, some have scratches, fingerprints, etc. A few are missing manuals. Therefore, I'll keep the price low. $45 shipped in the USA. I'm selling 15 different Atari 5200 instruction manuals. A few have the overlays. $12 shipped in the USA. Picture is below. Let me know if you have any questions. Box of junk is new and improved with a few more intellivision games. Still has the labeless 2600 games (Frogger, infiltrate, lost luggage) and Intellivision games (Buzz Bombers and I think, Bump n' Jump?) The Colecovision games have not been tested, neither has half-life. Asteroids handheld does work, but screen is scratched. There are about 21 different titles when you take out the dupes. $15 shipped USA.

  13. The PS1 and PS2 are great systems that have a large pool of games spanning many different genres and styles, with a lot of developers experimenting with the content they release. This is why I wanted to make this thread to highlight some of the weirder, lesser-known, or discussion-worthy games available for the system, to help everyone bolster their collection, to start a discussion on the design of these games, or simply to share some awesome experiences! You can post any PS1/2 game here that you like, with the condition that the game is interesting and it is unique in some way. With that said, post away!
  14. I’ve accumulated many video game systems over the years, which I’ve finally decided to sell. All gaming systems come with one original controller, A/V cables, and power cord. All systems and controllers were game-tested long enough to play multiple games and are sold “as is.” I’ve priced these systems BELOW the lowest price listed on Amazon and/or local stores. Playstation: $25 (Additional original controllers available for $5 each) PS2 (fat): $50 PS2 (slim): $50 Sega Master System (my personal favorite): Base system (one controller, A/V and power cables): $65 (Additional original controllers available for $5 each) Super Master System (base system + light phasor gun + 3-D glasses and adapter): $120 (lowest price on Amazon for a similar bundle is $185) Sega Genesis (model 1 or 2): $30 (Additional original controllers available for $5 each) Sega Dreamcast (tested over long-term and works great): $45 (Additional original controllers available for $7 each or two for $10) Intellivision: $60 I’ll gladly provide video of the systems working (and with corresponding serial number for proof) to anyone interested. Buyer pays shipping (~$10). Pickup (Cleveland, OH) is welcomed.

  17. This sells new in box on Amazon for $35. I am selling this one for $15 plus shipping. It looks brand new and I was told that it was only taken out of the box but it was never used. The foam pad has been attached but it really does look like it has never been used. The controller looks new and the SSX3 game (which is the GH version) does not have any marks on the disc at all. Everything looks great, includes the instructions as well. Works great. PM me if interested! Thanks

  20. Yet another WTB thread of mine - looking for a Japanese PS2 Slim in "Cinnabar Red" in excellent condition with hookups and one controller. Don't care about box/manual. Please reply or PM if you have one for sale! Thanks.
  21. From the album: Games and Their Stories

Although I don't have the system anymore (Mom gave it away to a goodwill when I upgraded up to a 360), I still have the box. I remember how hyped I was getting this console for my birthday. I had it up until 2010, as I arrived kind of late to the 7th generation. I clocked in hundreds upon hundreds of hours into the system, and it never once had any issues. I don't really have the heart in me to throw it away, hopefully it's out there still kicking it!
  22. By "best" I don't mean most powerful (the current one would always win), nor do I mean the most technically advanced in its day (that would have to be the PS3). I'm talking about legacy, and sheer awesomeness. Consoles only please.
  23. Is there a specific model that is better than the others? In regards to dependability, A/V, etc. Are these all backward compatible with the PS1 games? Thanks, Roger
