  1. Atarileaf asked this question and I thought it was a cool question so I did a video response on it. I would love to hear everyone else's answers on the question. The games don't haft to be for the Colecovision but since the Colecovision should be everyone here's favorite system I figure it will be mostly all Colecovision games here. You don't haft to do a video response you can just post the answers here. I would love to see pictures or video responses as those are the most fun to see. ****Remember you must have the cart only in your collection for it to be "wished" to turn into a CIB(Complete In Box).**** Here is my 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0r5YxvqGnfE&feature=youtu.be
  2. Hello! I purchased this game last year at a thrift store a year ago and was wondering what it's worth I've been looking for information on how much it's worth for awhile and haven't come up with anything yet. It's the rarer color label and it's complete in the box. Does anything know anything about this game? I added a picture to show what the condition is in. DH.bmp
  3. I own the Cuttle Cart, let's start with that. I'd like to know if there is a way to get normal ROMs like what you can download from this very site converted to the audio files that the Cuttle Cart and Super Charger use(I believe they're called binary files, but I'm not 100% on that). Supposedly there is a program that can do that on Stella Gets A New Brain, but surely that would be super outdated now, over 20 years after its initial release, and at the very least require several special plugins to get it to work on a newer computer like mine. I'm also not going to sugar coat it, I last used an emulator over 10 years ago in high school, and have never really programmed anything, so I probably face an uphill battle with this anyway. I'm hoping there is someone out there who can help me if it is possible, I would really appreciate it.
  4. Recently I was looking for homebrew games and noticed that many (not all) don't have a rom or I just didn't find them. And if there are no roms of These how does Atari age get their footage fot the YouTube channel? Why do many homebrew games don't have roms, and when they have where can I find them?
  5. Basically, the Coleco Gemini, which was an Atari 2600 clone, had this cool controller that had a joystick on the top part and a paddle on the bottom. Will this work on a normal Atari 2600 system? I kind of like the dual controller style.
  6. Hey folks, I'm trying to self-teach how to program the Commodore 64, and a lot of folks have already recommended to me a bunch of books. But I thought I would also start a thread to post more specific questions as they arise, and tap into the community of knowledge here. My first question is pretty basic (har har). I just wanted confirmation that the DEF FN command (in Commodore 64 BASIC) can only create single-variate functions of a floating point variable. I find this very limiting and would very much like to know if there's any way to define multivariate functions, and also on arrays or strings or integers etc. I don't think there is, and I have tried stuff but nothing works, and the books I have read so far are not 100% clear on explaining this function. Thanks in advance for any help and advice. I hope that other people interested in C64 programming can join in and we can build up this forum.
  7. I just recently picked up a TI99/4A at a thrift store, however it is missing its "w" key. Anyone know where I can get a replacement?
  8. Hello! I've been thinking about getting back into retro console repair and modification. I attempted to, a long while back, but then my life got kind of dumped on. NOW that I have the time and money to get back into the hobby, I wanna get back to trying to learn. What would you include in a retro-console repair kit? What sizes of tools? and so on.
  9. Recently i bought a bundle of 8 pal 2600 games to kickstart my collection, in the bundle was a cartridge of adventure, i have tried looking it up online and cant find any record of a cart that looks like this, there is none on ebay currently apart from 1 that is slightly different, my cart has a little p on the end label and i can find one like this online, i was just wondering how much this would be worth if anybody could help me, i have pictures but i am new to the forum and i am writing this on mobile so i cant figire out how to post them but when i figure it out i will. ( i looked on tge rarity logs for this website but i couldnt find it on there )
  10. I was pointed in the direction of this forum by some good folks over on Reddit. I have come into the possession of what seems to be a PAL release of Star Strike by Telegames. I have not been able to get much information about it, other than a few mentions, and its appearance in a few databases. http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-star-strike_7809.html and http://www.completeroms.com/dl/atari-2600/star-strike-telegames-pal-/1760 I've been provided with a little more information about Telegames and how they came to license the game, but putting a value on it has proven very difficult. There are no eBay listings that I have been able to find, let alone a finished auction. I am aware this game -even though, perhaps rare - might not necessarily be that valuable. I'm not an Atari collector, my preference lies with the PC and PS1/2 consoles for now, so this game would probably be part of a trade in the future. https://imgur.com/a/1XhNZel Thanks for your time.
  11. I've wondered this for a While, and as far as I know, there are no multi-disc Sega CD games! Why not? Is it beyond the system's handling, or was it just never tried?
  12. I recently found an Atari 2600 in a box in my garage. It has all the original paddles, joysticks, etc. with it. I took multiple pictures of it and from my own research I believe its a heavy sixer. I'm brand new to this so I apologize for my lack of correct wording when it comes to Atari. I also have multiple games including Combat with the case and with the Program instructions as well as the Atari Catalog that came with it. I'm just trying to figure out more info on this and would love if someone could help me out with it. I'll attach the pictures of the Console as well as joysticks and paddles. Hope this helps! Thank you, Nick
