  1. Hi ! I recently found an Atari 130xe in excellent condition (EU - PAL version, never used but without original power supply), but ran into a problem: 1. All graphics tests run fine - no artifacts, GTIA is from early releases and looks like it's okay. 2. All system tests run OK. 3. To load programs I use SDrive2 (sdrive-arm) disk emulator, and this is where I start having problems - most games do not load, or they load but do not work. Failure options: - garbage on the screen after loading; - images only in the first line of pixels, the rest of the screen is black - cracked/hacked games are loaded and I can see some hackers intro/welcom screen with fancy graphics and credits, but when the actual game should start - black screen or artifacts - the game is loaded, and even works, but instead of a part of the sprites - garbage - as in the picture below, instead of the character - a vertical line of garbage, but the game works and the character can move. - for some games, I could not find a single working image - I tried all the variants I could find (atr, xex), a couple of dozen, but none of them worked 100% - at the same time(!), I still can launch some games - and they work perfectly, no any graphics or loading issues. - today I got Sophia2 and tried to install it instead of the original GTIA - unfortunately nothing has changed, I see the same problems with games. Do you have any idea what could be the reason? P.S. Most of ATR/XEX roms marked as [US] but my Atari is EU(PAL) - but I can't find any EU/PAL rom for 400/800/XL/XE platforms And some of this [US] games work good. 20210618_220816.mp4
  2. I have a bunch of Atari floppy drives I'd like to test (810s, 1050s, an XF551, a Percom and some others). I've looked around for New Old Stock 5 1/4" floppy disks and I've found some, but I'm not sure which sources to trust. When did manufactures stop making new 5 1/4" DD disks? I imagine it was probably in the early-to-mid-1990s. Is there a reliable source in the United States for double-density 5 1/4" floppy disks that are still shrink-wrapped? Adam

  4. I have a RAM 320XE/576 complete in enclosure with Covox for sale. The item is in great condition and fully working. Sale due to my 800XE being upgraded with U1MB + POKEYMax so the RAM320 is surplus to requirements. This unit is compatible with the 800XE, 130XE and 65XE with ECI port. The unit supports a number of different RAM configs : 130XE, 320k RAMBO, 320k COMPY SHOP, 576k RAMBO I am located in the UK - happy to ship outside the UK. Open to offers, please PM.

  6. I recently bought a 320xe upgrade which works nicely, but now looking to see what can be done with it as regards true expansion. i also have an IDE plus 2.0 Rev C (with 20gb IDE laptop drive ready to be hooked up) questions: 1. how to i configure the IDE plus so the atari can boot from it via the 320xe? 2. what files do i need to do this? 3. where can i get them? 4. where on hard drive do i locate atari program files? 5. will atr/xex files run from this? cheers for any help
  7. An Atari 130XE 64KB with a Omnimon XE ROM upgrade for software development. The Omnimon mod is switch select on/off for compatibility. Includes one Wico Commander joystick with the grommet repaired. I am old skool tech from 1990 onward. Cleaned, inspected, works great. Includes 1.5 A power supply brick, not the cheap 1 A. Built in programming BASIC ROM. Includes monitor cable for composite, luma/chroma (best), and mono audio. The case is slightly yellow, but a good candidate for retrobrighting. The 1702 monitor was the best television computer monitor in its class with great color and low dot pitch. Works on Apple, Commodore, Amiga computers. It is also a great regular NTSC television.
