  1. I have already put this item on eBay but thought I'd share it here in case the item was any significance to an enthusiast. I'll be truthful, I don't much about Atari provenance, I stuck it on starting at 10p. Serial: 860204457 I'm selling it as spares as I can't test the visual output and don't have a controller to test. When plugged in and switched on the red power light does come on (as pictured). Bundle includes the console, original power adaptor and games. Games included: Atlantis Wizard of Wor Space Monster Fishing Derby Donkey Kong Ms PAC Man Dodge Em There is no controller included. It would be interesting to know if there is anything that is significant here, either way, here is the eBay link for anyone interested.
  2. Hello! I just bought an Atari 2600 Jr. I usually don't watch TV and I don't have channels on it ( I usually use a Chromecast). Now, the Atari works, the light is turning on but I don't have any channels. What can I do? I tried to search for channels but of course, it won't work because I don't have any cable.
  3. I booted up my Atari 2600 JR the other day, and I found that both controller ports were unresponsive to any input from the paddles or joystick. I popped it open and took a peek at the board, and there’s no visible damage. I’m using the attached schematic and a multimeter to try and find the issue. I’ve tested C20 and L3 but they both work fine. I suck at reading schematics. What components should I be focussing on to test?
  4. Hello everyone!!! I was wanting to buy an Atari 2600 Junior model. I already own a Heavy Sixer, Light Sixer, 4 switch Wood Veneer, and Darth Vader models. I wasn't into the juniors at first, but decided to invest in one to complete my genuine Atari 2600 console collection. Anybody looking to part with one or any extra ones preferably In very good condition. I don't need games, cables, controllers, and hookups as I am stockpiled with them. Let me know by PM me or reply. Thanks!! :-)
  5. Hey, So my friend wanted me to fix his atari 2600 Jr which has a broken reset switch. Is there a way to fix them/order a replacement part that would fix it? Thanks!
  6. I have an Atari 2600 JR model, and I don't know if this is normal for the jr model. But when I put the power cord into the console sparks fly out the back of the Jr... I don't know if this is normal I just noticed it today XD
  7. Does anyone know the size and thread type of the Atari 2600 Junior plastic case outer screws? I inherited a free Junior 2600 that works but has no screws holding it together.
  8. Here we've got an Atari 2600 Junior boxed console bundle with 10 games. Everything has been cleaned and tested and works great, unless otherwise described below. Please see pictures for exact condition of all items. Looking for $100 with FREE USPS or FedEx shipping. The bundle comes with all of the following: - Atari 2600 Junior Console in original box (console has a small chip in the plastic casing in the front left corner - cosmetic only and unseen from normal placement position - see picture) - Atari OEM power supply - One PointMaster joystick - One "Atari" joystick with Atari in quotes because this was actually converted from a plug-and-play system into a joystick compatible with original hardware - pretty cool, right? - RF cable (has some cuts in it) with RF adapter - no clunky switchbox required! Note that while functional, the picture provided with this RF cable isn't great. I have confirmed that it is the cable that is at fault and NOT the RF modulator in the console, as it had a beautiful picture paired with my own RF cable. I just don't have better spares at the moment, so you might want to consider getting a new $5 RF cable to improve the picture quality. - 10 Games - ALL "period appropriate" Atari Corp. games: Two (2) Complete in Box - Double Dunk and Radar Lock, both still have most of the original shrink wrap on the box; Five (5) with manuals - Crossbow, Desert Falcon, Home Run, Jr. Pac-Man and Mouse Trap; Three (3) cart-only - Donkey Kong, Mario Bros. and Ms. Pac-Man - Atari Advantage 2600 Edition Brochure/Poster * Cosmetic issues with a handful of carts: Mouse Trap is missing a chunk of plastic in the corner (see picture), Desert Falcon, Donkey Kong and Jr. Pac-Man are all missing one plastic cart prong, which doesn't impact gameplay in the slightest, I'm just all about full disclosure! Please don't hesitate to shoot me a PM with any questions or to finalize a deal. Thanks!
