  3. I have five (5) Atari Jaguar reproduction game boxes available: Alien vs. Predator Brutal Sports Football NBA Jam: Tournament Edition Rayman Wolfenstein 3D I had originally purchased these from eBay but they took three months (!) to arrive, so I wound up getting them from a different source in the meantime and no longer have a need for these. These are NOT universal game cases with a sleeve insert. Rather, these are game boxes made of thick paper/card stock similar to what you would get from the Atari ST ports by Gaztee but not quite up to the quality we have all come to expect from Marc O. and the AA Store. Would be happy to sell as a lot or piece out a la carte. Asking $10/box with free shipping. Each one also comes with a cartridge holder (as pictured). If you want more than one box, I can shave off some $$$.
  4. So I just received my shiny new Jag CD (first one I’ve ever owned!) and I’m pretty stoked about it (mostly for collector’s sake). I already know which official games I plan on picking up but I’m also curious which are the best homebrew/posthumous releases for the CD. I’ve enjoyed some of the Jaguar HB games, now it’s time to look at the CD games. Thanks for any suggestions!
  5. Help me finish my CIB Atari Jaguar *official release* cartridge collection! I only need Double Dragon V and AirCars at this point. If you have these games available to sell, please shoot me a PM. Willing to pay what it takes. Thanks!
  6. Hey all! So I’m loading up on stuff for my newly purchased Jag CD. I keep coming across a “Bypass Cartridge” while looking for Memory Tracks. Curious if someone can tell me what that is? You’d think it would be easy to Google but for some reason I’m not having much luck through Google or YouTube. I’m assuming it’s completely different than a Memory Track? Any help would be super appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Lately I've seen some downright bizarre auctions on ShopGoodwill, where the prices shoot WAY up beyond eBay value. Here's one good example, an in-progress auction for three pretty common Jaguar games and the official gamer's guide: Checkered Flag CIB Club Drive CIB Theme Park CIB Gamer's Guide $216 and counting plus shipping with 36 hours to go...huh? Based on eBay sold listings, the value is around $100. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/70479842
  8. Dear All, I have just started writing Atari Jaguar reviews for Arcade Attack. Please enjoy my first review of Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy. I will hopefully aim to add a lot more in the coming months: http://www.arcadeattack.co.uk/trevor-mcfur-jaguar/ Kind Regards Adrian
  9. Could the release of the infamous Black Ice/White Noise saved the Jaguar and even Atari? Myself and the rest of the Arcade Attack crew have recorded a special Atari Jaguar CD podcast for Arcade where we discuss the ill-fated peripheral, why it failed and whether Black Ice/White Noise could have helped save the Jaguar and even Atari! Please give it a listen if you get a chance and let me know if you agree with our verdict - here are all the nice links below: http://www.arcadeattack.co.uk/podcast-july-2-2017/ https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/arcade-attack-podcast/id1174983594 https://soundcloud.com/user-960533620 http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/arcade-attack-retro-gaming-podcast http://arcadeattackpodcast.podbean.com/?source=pb https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCb6cTE7T1yiBMdrb6qcrRXw If you enjoyed the podcast, please feel free to subscribe for future episodes. Please also enjoy a nice interview with the main man behind Black Ice/White Noise - B.J. West: http://www.arcadeattack.co.uk/bj-west/ Kind Regards Adrian
  10. Looking to buy a nicely used blue/gray Power Pad controller for the ST/Jaguar - Name your price or let me know what you're looking for and we can do a trade. Please PM or reply here if you have one you're willing to part with. Thanks!
  11. In the latest Atari Jaguar based interview for Arcade Attack, I am delighted to introduce my lovely chat with Fight for Life legend Francois Bertrand! He also worked for SEGA and the legendary Virtua Fighter! I ask him about his career at SEGA and Atari and get all the gossip on how the underrated (but admittingly rushed) Fight For Life was made (just!). Plus more on his stellar career. https://www.arcadeattack.co.uk/francois-bertrand/

    SOLD

I have Rebooteroids as well as Xenon 2: Megablast for the Atari Jaguar I am looking to sell. Both purchased from the AtariAge store last year. Both have only been played a couple of times and are in like-new condition and come in box protectors (fitting is a little tight, but they work). Looking for $57 shipped for each one in a small, flat-rate USPS Priority Mail box (tracked/insured). I could do $100 shipped if you take both. Only looking to ship within the USA and am taking PayPal only. I might be listing some other games here and there in the coming weeks, I just have to go through my collection first.
  13. Please watch in darkness, your sound cranked, 480p full screen a must. Enjoy the movie. Thanks Jeff! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqmKA_NB4MM This is the best quality Tempest 2000 video ever uploaded to the internet, bar none. Video clarity, audio quality and gameplay. I'm not bragging but I am a great player of this game too; Been playing since 1994. I use a regular Jag pad, no rotary. Just stating facts so don't be mad with me, just watch this movie and enjoy, it's better than most movies. So ya, amazing trippy visuals, amazing techno music, amazing frantic gameplay. This game NEVER gets old. Never.
  14. Please enjoy my 2nd Jag review for Arcade Attack. This time I look at the awesome Tempest 2000: http://www.arcadeattack.co.uk/tempest-2000-jaguar/ Best game on the console? Kind Regards Adrian
  15. Greetings everyone! This is primarily a Facebook giveaway but over the 12 Days of Christmas, from December 25th to January 5th, we'll be giving away Jaguar gifts every day that include physical games, unreleased items, hardware and more. Check out the link for information to enter and I'm trying to find a way where being a Facebook member isn't required but am definitely encouraging photo submission upon gift receipt so we can share with everyone to enjoy. https://www.facebook.../AtariJaguar64/ Just wanted to give everyone here a heads up in case you're interested! The Jaguar wrapping paper is real and if you win, your gift will come wrapped in this awesome Jaguar wrapping paper!
  16. Here's an xmas morning Jaguar release, featuring some French realtime 3D fun! It's a quick invitation to Sommarhack 2016 in Sweden 8-10 July. If you download the binary (4mb ROM), be aware best results will be had on hardware. It should be OK on PAL or NTSC machines and will run at 50 or 60fps accordingly, but emulation might lead to iffy audio syncing, which isn't ideal in such a prod. Here's the video for the lazy xmas lamahs :0) Merry xmas, Jaguar fans. wiggle.zip
  17. So I just realized the 'tune' during the jaguar boot is actually the "Have You Played Atari Today?" tune. Commercial for the slogan: Atari Jaguar Boot: Has anyone ever realized that? I thought that was kinda kool.
  18. Dear all I just wanted to point all you lovely people to a new retro gaming podcast. On Arcade Attack's first ever podcast, myself and two of my close friends discuss many topics. As a huge Jaguar fan (and collector) I give my views on this misunderstood console. Please give it a listen and let me know what you think: http://www.arcadeattack.co.uk/podcast-november-2016/ P.s. While listening back, I noticed I made 2 clear errors about the Jaguar, no prizes for anyone who points them out!!! Thanks all. Adriano

  20. Hi all, Been playing my Jaguar again and ejoying Tempest 2000 and started to wonder. If Atari had some money back then and a good game making team, could the Jaguar handle PS1 quality games? Weren't the PS1 and Jaguar similar in hardware? What are some homebrews that show excellent qualities of the Jaguar? Let me know, cheers! Yan

  22. So after many years of sitting on this disc of gameplay footage that Gatzee sent me forever ago (12 years or so), I could ever only get a few minutes out of it here and there as of recently. I've finally had the disc professionally resurfaced and brute force copied over to my system and have posted the video in its entirety on the Jaguar Facebook page, which can be viewed here: https://www.facebook.com/AtariJaguar64/videos/1275656109128368/ It's almost an hour long. Sorry if you don't like Facebook. Enjoy!
  23. These pictures are missing my PS2, XBOX 360, Wii, N64, Genesis, NES, and my extra Dreamcast and 2 Atari 2600; and some games. It has grown by leaps and bounds since I joined Atari Age a while ago. I had to take them all out of boxes so I could just take these pictures. Still doesn't compare to some beautiful collections that I've seen here in the forum. Love collecting! Who doesn't? Thanks for looking. Cheers, Yan
