The title says all, I have converted the existing schematics into Kicad. This is the 1.0.0 release, and hopefully there will be no erratum. https://github.com/sporniket/kicad-conv ... /tag/1.0.0 The release provides a PDF with the schematics, a PDF with the silkscreen of the motherboard reconstruction, and a ready to use Kicad project (libraries included). For the schematics, I have decided that : Symbols for the ICs will show the physical layout of the pins, as it makes it easier to spot the pin on the real IC (for me at least). And because thanks to that, the GSTMCU still fits on an A4 sized sheets. On one occasion I deviated from this choice (for the dma sound amplification and filtering) as it obfuscated too much the circuit. Each original sheet is splitted so that each sub-part is printable on a A4 sized sheet. A Table of content I also have mentionned some fixes that would be usefull/mandatory. DMA pull-up on databus WD1772 pull-ups LMC audio mix fix RGB Video ghosting fix C415 that should be reversed The projects contains an approximative reconstruction of the motherboard's PCB. It will be good enough to locate a given component and to know how a signal is distributed accross the board. And it allow to make nice 3D renderings.

Hi, for some time I've been developing opl player with support of OPL2/3 hardware on Atari ST and up. Here is current summary with some recordings from several devices (OPL2LPT / OPL3LPT / OPL3 Express): https://nokturnal.pl/2023/12/opl3-play-preview-for-atari-st-and-up . Hello, For my own needs, I have converted the Atari STE schematics (6 sheets of A3/A2 size) into Kicad : 28 A4 sized pages + a table of content page, the same annotations between the original and the conversion. Wanted to see if anybody could use them before I donate them to an electronics retailer. Just pay for shipping and you can have them - I'm only shipping within the US because of C19. I believe these can be used as replacement memory for latter A500 Motherboards as well as some variants of Atari ST - there is 24 of them. I believe these are similar to the above These are also memory chips for A500's but for earlier models - I don't remember which ones exactly Rev.6a and before possibly? Spare socket for Atari ST Blitters(Possibly the GLUE and MMU too). Known as the 'Funky' Socket according to Exxos(Chris) Two chip UK Rainbow TOS 1.04 Six chip US Rainbow TOS 1.04 The holy grail! The rare 2 MB Fat Agnus for A500(and I think A2000 as well) 2 - 1MB SIMM's for Atari STE's Various chip converters.

What's going on everyone, I'm looking to purchase a refurbished/upgraded Atari Mega STe (preferably US model) with US (or UK) Keyboard or a US 1040 STe. The unit must be in great condition internally and externally and DMA (specifically Sound DMA) must be fully functional. I am looking for an Atari STF/M/E/ or MEGA with 2MB+, TOS 1.04 or 1.62. I would It needs to have a Blitter but doesn't necessarily need the DAC of the STE (that is nice to have though).

Hello fellow atarians! I have a problem with my atari STe. As the title says when I turn it on it gets a weird screen like so: Here are the specs and what I've done so far: - Atari 1040STe, 4mb memory, hxc floppy emulator - Strange rev board: - No visual damage to the board/components - 4 mb memory upgrade (tried multiple different simm's in different combinations and tried these on a other ste & worked) - Replaced shifter chip (facebook ste group came up with that one, didn't work unfortunatly) - Pushed all the chips in their sockets - Also tried working floppy drive with floppies. - Hold the reset button for 10 seconds when turning on. - Video: 13pin din to composite cable - Video: RF via TV - Video: 13pin din to scart - All gave the same result, see this short video: https://vid.me/e/UxCW - Pressing keys on the keyboard give the typical beep sound so sound works I guess? - Hxc floppy emulator works great on other atari's, on this one it doesn't seem to load much. See this short video (beep = st cold reset): https://vid.me/e/dojE - Tried a different, known working, PSU still same result. - TOS roms are soldered (so no socket's damnit, I have 2.06 roms laying here though but too scared to solder and fecking the board up) Even after all that, I can't figure out what's wrong. I have ordered a HI-res din to vga cable to test out if the ste is maybe stuck in HI-res mode or something. (read it somewhere, can't remember). Warning, I don't have much hardware knowledge (so pls not too much jargon) and I don't have precise soldering skills and money ( ) Is there anyone here who might have any idea what it might be?

I have a Mega STE that is working perfectly but has some cosmetic damage to the upper half of the case. I know it's a long shot but If someone someday has a non-functional but cosmetically fine MSTE, or one that has been rackmounted, I'd be interested in the upper half, or even the whole case.

As the title suggests, I'm looking to quench some nostalgic lusts... Looking for a loaded Falcon030 and/or C-Lab Falcon/CT60, a very nice condition 130XE (no yellowing), Atari STE (no yellowing), CD32 with games/etc and shoot me any offers on Jaguar dev goodies, notably an official Atari Flash cart or Skunk board. Also, if you have an ST Book that's collecting dust, drop me a line. I'm willing to pay upwards so I'm only really looking for extremely well cared for machines, though I may consider otherwise if the price is right and I can swap whatever is defected if something is wrong.
