  1. Hello, I'm new here on atariage, because I need some advice. I have bought in 2008 from Atari2600.com 2 Original Boulder Dash cartridges for the Atari 5200. Yellow one with serial: 080 of 100 Red one with serial: 085 of 100 I have only opened the shippingbox they came in and never the games them self, so they are new and in the seal. So I have the Original shippingbox and bill and email proof form JC Atari2600.com. They are Original FSS release by Atari2600.com see year 2006 (https://firststarsoftware.com/boulderdash-htm/) I only want to know what they are worth today? Many thanks!
  2. In my latest episode I interview game programmer Thomas Jentzsch. Many of his games are available in cart here on Atariage. He has made some great homebrews and there is more to come. I was really happy that I got a chance to talk to him about his games, his background and what's to come.
  3. AtariAge and First Star Software, Inc. are hosting a box and label design competition for the recently announced Boulder Dash® Atari 2600 port (see detailed news here)! The winning design will be featured on the game cartridge, the manual, and the box. Plans are to release the AtariAge version of Boulder Dash® in time for Christmas. Now you can be a part of the effort to bring about this highly anticipated release! The winner of the contest will receive a copy of Boulder Dash® in cartridge form with box and manual, featuring their winning label design, signed by Andrew, Thomas, Albert, and Richard M. Spitalny (president of First Star Software, Inc.) The winner will also receive a $50 gift certificate in the AtariAge Store. The contest will run until 11:59pm (CST), Sunday, November 27th, 2011 and all submissions must be received by this time! After the contest has ended, AtariAge, First Star Software, Thomas Jentzsch and Andrew Davie will select one of the entries as the label to be used for Boulder Dash®. Full details about how to enter the contest are here! Good luck, and we look forward to seeing your entries! Boulder Dash® Label Contest Note! The contest has been extended another week and now ends on November 27th, 2011. This will give everyone an extra week. Those in the US can potentially benefit from some time off from work due to the Thanksgiving holiday!
  4. Hi Atari fans, my name is Mirek. :-) Me and my brother Sebastian, like many of you, were raised on the 8 bit Atari and now we're working together on our first game - Box Kid Adventures. It's a top-down puzzle game, with action elements, where you play as Box Kid - a toy made out of carboard - going through various levels, full of nasty enemies and brain challenging puzzles. It offers simple but deep gameplay, that refers to classic games like: Robbo, Boulder Dash, Sokoban or Chip's Challenge. Short story: "In the age of electronics, the toy-robots became kids favorite playthings. However, young, ambitious designer, created a new toy. A Kid. A Box Kid! A toy made out of cardboard. A toy that should breathe life into the world of imagination. But company's CEO wasn't impressed by that idea and he threw Box Kid into the garbage chute... But was that the real reason? Unveil the truth, as you help Box Kid discover his destiny!" We submitted Box Kid to the Steam Greenlight, so if you like it, please consider voting: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=509854181 We'll appreciate your help and feedback. :-) http://boxkidadventures.com/ http://trexinteractive.com/ https://twitter.com/trexinteractive https://www.facebook.com/BoxKidAdventures https://www.facebook.com/TRexInteractive http://www.indiedb.com/games/box-kid-adventures Cheers, Mirek
