  1. I got a 3d printer, Creality Ender 3 V2 Neo, for Christmas and am trying to learn how to use it. My TIPI/32K has been just hanging out between the TI99 and speech pack, so I decided to try to design a case for it. I use two 90 degree mini USB adapters to provide power to the PI and hook up a USB mouse, so I had to provide openings for these. As I was also concerned about keeping the PI cool, I provided an opening over it which also lets me see its activity light. I almost forgot the need for a hole for the LED on the TIPI/32K to stick through. Here are some pictures of the final result.
  2. Does anyone have a solution for replacing a broken/shattered screw post on the 800 top case? In particular, take a look at this example of the four posts that the 800 keyboard is attached to. The attached images show an example of a good/intact set of the four posts labelled "1" thru "4". When these shatter (due to over-tightening, age, brittleness, etc.) and you are unable to superglue them back together... what are your options? Here is my thought and I wonder if anyone has tried this. Challenge to all the 3D printer folks out there !!! My Ideas: 1) Post 1 may be tricky because it is so close to the RESET key however, posts 2, 3 and 4, if there were completely cutoff and sanded flat... could a 3D replacement post be made that has a large 1cm X 1cm square base? The base may be big enough to superglue into place. I think if the base/post angle were correct it may be worth a try. 2) If there is enough of a remaining post... something that could superglue over the remaining post and could then be cut to size. Call it a glued-on post replacement sleeve. Other ideas? Picture1 - Showing all 4 keyboard attachment posts (in good condition) Picture2 - Close-up showing posts 1 and 2 (in good condition) Picture3 - Close-up showing posts 3 and 4 (in good condition)
  3. Have a multicard for the Magnavox Odyssey from @Boojakascha and @Mikebloke and got a handle for it from Laserbear. Took measurements and with the new handle, it's about 11cm x 9cm, and about 1.5 cm thick. I'm looking for a hard case or possibly a shock box to store it, ideally with a little bit of extra space, so I can line the case with antistatic plastic to protect the PCB Does anyone have any ideas on what the most similar cartridge would be in terms of size? (NES, SNES, Megadrive...?) Or if repurposing one of those wouldn't work, does anyone make custom cases that would fit it? Thanks!

    Empty Case

Hey all, For various reasons I am looking for an empty Atari TT, Atari MegaSTe, or MegaST case. I've tried Best, but they've been sold out for eons. I've tried looking for non-working systems, but haven't come across anything yet. Is there another place to find these things, or maybe someone can make them? Or maybe someone has a defunct system they want to get rid of? Thanks!
  5. For those who still prefer to purchase on eBay, i've moved all my 3D printed stuff to a new account: c0d3m4st4_3d The other account was shared with a friend, and we were short of free monthly listings, so i decided to move all my 3D printed stuff to a new one Same items, support, quality and communication, only low feedback for now.. hopefully that will change soon http://www.ebay.es/usr/c0d3m4st4_3d IMPORTANT NOTES: UPDATE: seems transit times to the U.S. are shorter now (finally!), still not as fast as last year, but all parcels should be there in 15 days max, let me know if not received in 15 days after i send you the tracking number. - Shipping to Mexico and South America, absolutely at your own risk. Unacceptable customs delays in most cases, and some unexpected returns for no reason. If returned (safe, of course) i will only refund 80% of the item cost, but won't refund the postage cost. If declared lost, i will only refund whatever compensation the Spanish postal service offers (this is the amount payed for postage + a small compensation). - U.S. buyers can purchase from www.arcadeshopper.com when he has stock available Hey there. Some of you may already know me or even purchased from me on eBay or the Ti99 forum. I'm listing here all my 3D printed cases from now on offering cheaper prices (item + shipping) than on eBay (no eBay fees, no PayPal fees). Only shipping once or twice a week... mostly mondays and fridays, but not always... (kinda random shipping days ) so please, be patient... max you will wait before getting a tracking number is 5 working days. Please note, due to the manufacturing process (home 3D printing with non-professional equipment) cases might have imperfections here and there... but they will do the job. 3D printing is not comparable with mold injection Payments should be made by PayPal (in euro) using the send money to friends/family option (if you have PayPal funds or bank account linked to your account, if no funds and only credit card linked to your account, final price will be increased in 3.5% + 0.35 which is the PayPal fee). All cases include screws when needed. 3D printed case for FinalGROM 99 - 17.50 euro 4 colours available: green, white, orange and black. Design as pictured (for color options, please check FlashROM 99 case until i get some cases printed in the other colors). All cases include two 3D printed buttons in green and orange colors for the reset buttons (if you prefer them both in the same color, please, let me know when you contact me to purchase). Necessary screws included as usual. This one is for the fully assembled PCB including LED and push buttons. SD card inserts completely in the case... not an inch is left outside. I took the pics with it "ejected" from the socket. 3D printed case for FlashROM 99 - 20 euro --- Ω --- blog entry for this case HERE 4 colours available: green, white, orange and black. Design as pictured. All cases include 3 x 3D printed buttons in different colours, one matching your case, and 2 random ones to test where to sand or cut the plastic post in the button to match your reset switch height. 3D printed case for NanoPEB v1 - 20 euro IMPORTANT: Please double check to make sure your NanoPEB is the same i used to design these cases. Check with these pics, or contact me including a pic of yours to make sure it is the same model if you have any doubt, as i've seen different models of v1 floating around. --- Ω --- blog entry for this case HERE Available in black color only at least for now, i don't have much stock of other color filament. Since it seems there are many versions of these devices, please, check following pictures with measures and exact model to make sure yours will fit in the case. Ask me first if you have any doubt. The rough surface near the switch is caused because this is printed upside down and need a support structure in that area, so first layer is not very well done This is the only way to go to make it easier and faster to print, and getting a plain surface on the front. Slide-in lid to access CF card, works quite well. Please note if you have big fingers you will still have some problems to extract the card properly, you can lift it a bit (there is extra room for that) to make it easier. 3D printed case for CF7 - 20 euro IMPORTANT: Please double check to make sure your CF7 is the same i used to design these cases. Check with these pics, or contact me including a pic of yours to make sure it is the same model if you have any doubt, as i've seen different models floating around. --- Ω --- blog entry for this case HERE Available in black color only at least for now, i don't have much stock of other color filament. Thanks to schmitzi for sending me CF7 and NanoPEB so a case could be made. 3D printed case for jedimatt42 32K expansion - 15 euro --- Ω --- blog entry for this case HERE 4 different designs for top cover (plain, with logo, plain with window for expansion port, or with logo and window). Snap-in lid to cover the expansion port window in case you don't want to use it for now but you go for the window version for future use). Fits nicely. Will include an extra lid just in case, as it is the weakest part (should be good for normal use, but no doubt it will degrade and fall if you keep inserting/removing it a lot). 3D printed case for Amstrad C4CPC flash cart - 12 euro Mod of the original case to replace the weak tabs with screws and fix text for FDM 3D printers. Available in creamy white color only. 3D printed shell for Turbo Ever Drive v1.x flash cart - 5 euro With or without USB socket. Suitable for PCB revs. 1.x (not suitable for v2!). Available colors: gray, creamy white, orange, dark green. 3D printed case for MATEOS burner / dumper - 9 euro This is a redesign of my previous version. Now with screws. Available colors: gray, creamy white, orange, dark green. Suitable for PCB rev. 1.4 Fully assembled Tapuino - Commodore 64/VIC20/C16 datasette emulator - 50 euro Allows you to load .TAP files (tape backups) directly from a microSD card (not included). You can also save your own programs and copy to/from tape by connecting a real datasette to the port on the back. Fully assembled in a screwless 3D printed compact case. Upgradeable firmware. I can flash it in your desired language (English, Spanish, German, Italian or Turkish). Basic usage instructions included (in English or Spanish only). Professionally made PCB. For C16 compatibility, you need an adapter, which i haven't built, so i haven't really tested C16 compatibility, but it is in the firmware and project docs, so guess it should work. More cases coming soon Shipping cost (everything is shipped from Spain): I always ship boxed, and with tracking number. Sometimes the tracking numbers do not work with some postal services around the world, as i ship as "letter" to keep it cheap, and it seems they don't scan them on arrival, so contact me after 15 days if you haven't received your parcel so i can claim and they can start investigating the issue with your postal service. 2 weeks should be enough to arrive to U.S.A. but it may take up to a month (even more) for Asia and Australia. I ship to most destinations, but not all, so contact me to check if i will ship to your country if not listed below. Postage prices updated on Jan 1st, 2018 - To Japan / Australia / USA / Other countries : Up to 100 grams: 7.50 euro Up to 500 grams: 14 euro - To Europe: Up to 100 grams: 6.50 euro Up to 500 grams: 10.50 euro Feedback: Please, when your items arrive, it will be good if you can leave your feedback here, so everyone knows how i'm doing.Thanks. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/255013-c0d3m4st4/ If you have any problem or question about with your item, contact me first!
  6. Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has done any fancy mods to their ST's to change the way they look. My Atari ST had cracks all over the plastic which I fixed with Epoxy, but this still left it looking damaged. So I decided to get some vinyl wrap and turn it into a little DIY project. I've attached a WIP photo below, still a long way to go. Anyway, I'd love to see what others have done with their ST's and to hear about how their project went on.
  7. Hi @all, I´m currently looking for an empty ATARI XF551 case, if possible with the matching side rails for a 5.25 inch drive. If anyone want to sell, pls make an offer. Thanks in advance! andY
  8. As per the title , due to terrible packaging by an eBay seller! I'm in the UK so UK/Europe preferred
  9. Hello guys With permission of Steven Tucker, I have published the dimensions of his AtariMax cartridge shells on my Docs page. Thanks to both Steven Tucker and Dropcheck (for asking). Sincerely Mathy
  10. Hi all I'm looking for an Atari STf upper case, mine didn't survived to a retr0brighting session. Alternatively, I could use a non working Atari STf Thanks for your help !

  12. Yay, my new TIPI case arrived in the mail today! I'll be putting this bad-boy together this weekend. Thank you Thomas, it looks GREAT! When I bought my TIPI and 32k board, I screwed up and bought a "shorty" thinking it was "shorty" because it's a small short board. Not that the connector was too short to support any upcoming cases. So, Thomas also took care of me by sending a board with all components except the chips (at a great price). A simple chip-swap and I'll be able to use the new Case! Here's a pic. of that board...
  13. Hi all So, this is my first post. I recently got my TI-99/4a from my dad, who recovered it from the attic over Christmas. It was my first computer, and even though I didn't really appreciate it then (be easy on me, I was 4), I'm falling in love with it now. I've been lurking, reading all the really cool stuff that everyone's been doing, like Erik's FPGA, Jon's carts and such, and I decided that maybe I could do something with my skills as an industrial designer and machinist. So I whipped up this in my CAD program and I've ordered two prototypes to be printed. Hopefully they'll snap right together. The printing's a bit on the expensive side, so it might not be a great candidate for large number of carts, but I have always been interested in mold making...;P Enjoy, Will B.
  14. Hi Guys I hope you don't mind me posting this here. As you know I have an Atari 800XL which has a Simius RGB mod and an Electrotrains Ultimate cart. However some of my fondest memories were from the ST, so I created an Atari ST case for the Raspberry Pi. I've recently got a new filament colour that I think is pretty close to the original case. https://retropicases.com/collections/raspberry-pi-cases/products/atari-st-retro-raspberry-pi-case I make these to order and usually ship in 7-10 days. I hope you like them. You can run an Atari emulator using Retropie and the Hatari emulator as per this link: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Atari-ST-STE-TT-Falcon Steddy
  15. I just discovered this product: http://www.plexilaser.de/shop/Acrylgehaeuse-fuer-ATARI-800XL-Teilesatz It seems you can make your personalized cases. It could be a solution for 1088XEL or Eclaire XL.

  17. I have a ton of games mostly old school classic Atari INTV & CV Carts. My favorite way to display your collection is CD DVD Media tower and book cases with adjustable shelves. I am continually buying and reselling extras so the probably have 2000-3000 games. Here is some of the racks. They can get rearranged a bunch depending on which system I might be enjoying the most.
  18. So I bought Shantae Half Genie Hero yesterday at Lamestop (only place locally that had it) for all of $32 dollars including tax. It was one of the best game purchase values of my life as far as the packaging/price/contents/game quality mix goes. It came with no less than: -Box -Game in case -Thick full color Manual -Accompanying soundtrack CD If all games still came packaged like this i'd still be buying new consoles and games. The kicker is, I inserted the game and it fired right up, no hour long updates or servers to log into. Fun game too.
  19. Hi all, I'm looking for an Atari H6 top shell in good condition, especially in the frontal faux woodgrain part with the logo. I have to replace mine which got ever more ruined in a rather clumsy attempt of restoration pm contact. Thanks. Andre
  20. The brushed aluminum on my 7800's case is pretty scratched up and I'd like to restore it. Please PM me if you have the upper shell of a 7800 with the metal in good condition
  21. I know that's outrageously underpriced, but I got a big chore list here. Also, I'd like them to be american releases (NTSC) and in the hard clamshell cases and in good condition. PM me if you'd like to sell some. * indicates that I need a game with a better label too. For those we can discuss a price on that case. As for the rest of them, I have the games, just need the cases and manuals. Also could use some empty Sega Saturn cases. I'll pay 5 dollars for each empty case. Make sure they are not broken. I will also need manuals for Rastan and Shinobi on the Sega Master System. I will pay 2 dollars for each manual.
  22. Hey guys I have some PS1 manuals and jewel case slips up for grabs if anyone is interested. They are all in decent condition. No sticker marks, mild corner creasing etc. Misadventures of Tron Bonne Front Mission 3 Megaman X4 Megaman X5 Um Jammer Lammy Looking to sell as all together. I know epay prices for Tron Bonne is pretty high right now so that in itself might interest someone looking to make a CIB. $20 + Shipping for the lot Keep in mind I live in Canada and Canada Post is slightly more expensive than USPS.
  23. Hi all, long time Atari user here and first time poster. I still have sitting in my recording studio my trusty Atari STE that still gets used for midi sequencing and other such applications. However, ideally I would like to get this Atari installed into a rack-mountable case. I understand that there used to be a few companies that have produced purpose made cases for the Atari computers over the years (Such as the Space Case by Lighthouse) with all the necessary holes etc pre-cut, connection for external keyboard etc and was wondering if anyone here knows of anywhere/one that may be able to help me source such a case? Many thanks in advance.
  24. Hi! I'm looking for some advice on replacement Dreamcast CD cases. I have seen quite a few on Amazon that look suitable, such as - - http://www.amazon.com/Memorex-Jewel-Cases-Clear-Tray/dp/B000067VC6/ref=pd_cp_e_2 And here's some "chubby" double CD ones, which I also need http://www.amazon.com/DOUBLE-THICK-CHUBBY-JEWEL-CD2R24DG/dp/B001JPDK1G/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1333377341&sr=1-1 As those of you who collect Dreamcast know, the original cases have a certain "thickness" and "shine" to them that is hard to imitate. The double CD cases are tricky to find, too. What have fellow collectors used or who have you bought from? SQUARE DEAL there on Amazon looks ok, but . . . . The other alternative I have heard is to purchase a lot of some sports title, discard the contents, and use the cases, which I am also considering! Thanks for any advice! -a2a
