So im a huge fan of bootleg/obscure hardware, and two of my favorites pieces of my collection are these old 1993 Megadrive clones i bought. The first one is a Nasa New 16 bit, the clone lacks a lot of features like the headphone jack and the MegaCD port, and is incompatible with the 32x and some multitaps, but the console has a great built quality. The second one is the infamous Kw-501, which i was kinda disappointed that the built quality was very bad, but the console has most of the features the Nasa lacks. Any of you guys owns an old Megadrive clone or similar?

It's 36"x72" It's in perfect condition. As you can see, the sides of it are slightly folded in. This comes by it being rolled up for awhile. Story: I got this from my sister a long time ago when she worked at Suncoast before they closed. It was for promotional purposes and she got first dibs on it. 😁 I have no idea..what do you guys think it's worth? 😅 *edit: I'm also open to Genesis games and stuff. Taking offers! If there are any problems with the price that you find please and kindly correct me via PM and not publicly. Thanks! 🙂

So as we know on the Atari once something was popular there were other publishers rushing to have their own version. With clone games being mirrors of each other which one did you like better? Phoenix or Demon Attack Battle zone or Robot Tank Space Invaders or Gorf Star Raiders or Starmaster Kaboom or Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em You can name other clone pairs and pick your favorites. Feel free to comment below and if you feel a game is unfairly labeled as a clone but is substantially different comment as well.

Hi! I would like to share with you the "Kenia" model, imported and distributed in Argentina by the local company "Kenia Fueguina" in the 80's. It is a European Coleco with Revision D board, adapted to the PAL-N standard. The game included was "Donkey Kong". CLONE GAME > ORIGINAL Aventura > Venture Androides > Frenzy Jungla II > Pitfall 2 Dragón > Dragonfire Tuberías > Zenji Pimienta > Pepper2 Delta Competición > Omega Race Croac I > Frogger 1

It occurred to me the other day just how many jaguar games were clones of successful titles on other systems. The early to mid 90's was a golden era for gaming so its hard to blame them for hopping on some bandwagons, but just for fun i wanted to start a list and see what other people could come up with. I actually like a lot of these games and this isn't about judgement, it's just about fun, making connections, and video game knowledge/history. 1. Atari Karts--Mario Kart (SNES) 2. Blue Lightning--Afterburner (Arcade, Genesis, Etc.) 3. Brutal Sports Football--Mutant League Football (Genesis-Arguable as they came out around the same time) 4. Bubsy--Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis-debatable because Bubsy appears on genesis first as a clone on that system) 5. Checkered Flag--Virtua Racing (Arcade/Genesis) 6. Cybermorph--Starfox (SNES) 7. DDV/Dragon--Street fighter 2 clones? (not sure on this one) 8. Evolution: Dino Dudes--Lemmings (Every system ever) 9. Fight for Life--Virtua Fighter (Arcade, 32x) 10. Kasumi Ninja--Mortal Kombat II 11. Super Burnout--Super Hang On (Arcade, Genesis) 12. Towers II--D&D Games (assorted systems) 13. Ultra Vortek--Mortak Kombat II 14. Zool 2--Sonic The Hedgehog (Genesis) What am I missing?
