Hi all, I don't know whether this is oke to ask. But after (very) long thinking, I've decided to sell my Atari Falcon.. I haven't been using it enough to keep it really.. It looks and feels like new, is complete with the internal metal shield and speaker, the original 84 MB Connor harddrive is in the (bit noisy though) and a spare harddrive, 14 MB ram, software, switcher to connect the Falcon to the old ST displays, etc. I included a bunch of pictures of it working, and the whole package.. For some strange reason, some of the pictures are sideways and can always be reshot... Oh, it hasn't been recapped yet... I know (from the forum) that most people prefer it this way. The drawing tablet will go to Portugal, so is not included... Asking price: 1300 euros, or US$1450 (that should, according to my local exchange rate be just about equal). Shipping costs are separate extra. Of course depending on where it needs to be sent to... Of course it will be send with insurance and as properly packaged as I can manage If you have questions: don't hesitate to ask! I speak English and Dutch, I read and understand German as well, and a bit of Spanish and French... Bas.
Happy 4th to my fellow Americans here. Happy Thursday to all else. I've mentioned elsewhere that I came across a large lot of Atari hardware/software/etc. and in this are a bunch of manuals and system/language disks that I'd like to re-bundle as correctly as possible. However, due to the somewhat generic (to my eye, anyway) way Atari labeled some of these disks, I'm not able to make a guess as to what they came with. Is there a site somewhere that lists the bundles of manuals and software that came with each line of ST/TT/Falcon systems? I've done different searches online, but maybe I'm just not creative enough to figure out what might work best. Thanks! Greg
Hello, I am planning to purchase a Firebee Coldfire and put it on the atariland.org network.. and if you have a remote desktop account thru us I will be allowing direct access to the firebee for remote users.. We will host the firebee at Coldfire.atariland.org and if you get a remote desktop account thru us we will give you access to use the falcon clone. We also will be offering DSP/Audio and other services thru the coldfire unit. also we will be expanding our falcon libraries and software areas: at http://atariland.org also after a week of upgrading all file libraries are back online. -=Rick=-
In case you've missed the news Douglas Little has released an 'alpha' version of BadMooD, a fully playable Doom conversion enhanced for Falcon030. You'll need the WAD file(s) from the original game but the BadMooD binary download is hosted here: http://devilsdoorbell.com The game requires a stock (unaccelerated) Falcon030 with 14 MB of RAM. As it's the first release there are some features to be implemented, some bugs and a wish list too! If you have programming or graphics experience and would like to help then let us know through the above website! Source will be released, but probably not for a month or two while things are tidied up. A BadMooD specific level with enhanced graphics is possible. See the download binary for more Readme information.
