  1. I have a Framemeister XRGB-Mini with an RGB input (looks like an S-Video) connector. Is it possible to connect my IIgs to this and use a regular HDMI monitor? I have an IIgs monitor but, I'd like to cut down on how many monitors I have per system. Thanks!
  2. I found this at a thrift store for $12. It has VGA in and out. Plugging my iigs straight into an ex 1970vx lcd screen yielded no picture, but when I plug it through this thingy the picture is near-perfect. (far better than the GBS board I used prior.) I believe it has something to do with cleaning or amplifying the sync signal, I think it is meant for long cable runs.
  3. Just wanted to see if anybody had a basic Apple IIGS setup(monitor, keyboard, mouse, some kind of floppy drive, maybe joystick) and get an idea of what they're going for. Fascinating little system.
  4. ALL SOLD GONE NO MORE YEAH! Nothing to see here folks. So here's the deal, I think Some of the IIgs disks were non-functional, but it's been a long time since I've checked... the CD's are all good, and No idea about the Amiga title which is sealed-in-box still or the loose disk either. I'm asking $28 $18 shipped within the US for the whole lot of it. Apple IIgs: Dream Zone disks A&B BattleChess Skate or Die Tunnls of Armageddon The Bard's Tale Amiga: Hardball! Disk Tracy - Still in shrinkwrapped box Mac Dragon's Lair: Escape From Singe's Castle - comes with a not-in-photo copy of the codesheet nessesary for starting the game. Where in the U.S.A. is Carmen Sandiego - This is actually also for Windows as well.. it's a dual format disc. Sam and Max Hit the Road Day of the Tentacle
  5. After pulling my Apple IIGS out of the attic, I plugged it in to my modern LCD TV via composite. However, upon boot up, the screen is garbled and jumpy. If i wiggle/twist the RCA connector at the IIGS end, i can fix the garbled video and jumpiness, however the colors are all wrong, as in they look very deadened/muted. Medium blue appears as a dark blueish grey, dark red looks like brown, yellow looks very faded, etc. Is this caused by the failure of a certain chip, should I replace the capacitors, or what? EDIT: I should also add that if I flip the switch on the back, and turn it on again, I have to wiggle the RCA cable all over again for a while to get the image to work. When viewing text, there are also several pink/green artifacts. Knowing that it is an Apple II on a color display, this could happen, but I just wanted to put it in here to be safe.
