  1. Hello fresh from Outline Online 2021, I have something new for you: https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=88999
  2. At SillyVenture 2k12 Lamers group presented simple intro called OldSchool in 16kB Intro Competition. Now we're proud to present remastered version for VBXE card It's just the beginning but we think it can be a good start to bring some life to the Scene in that area as a lot of people have that extension already. Let's support it! People that have no that luck to have it, can use Altirra emulator that emulates VBXE fully, or see it on . 3. Hello folks, here's something new for you: some plasma ----------- Another little intro, I coded this year. This time I walked to new spheres of coding, at least for me. Never made plasmas before. Hope you like them. Music has been brought to POKEY by mk. He used RMT and the newly created RMT2LZSS tool by rensoup. So I had to test how to play back these LZSS packed data on ATARI. Initially I thought, I just have to change the LZSS player code by dmsc to work with my code, but that was wrong. There have been some strange errors, so that the sound didn't play correct. And I had listened so many times to the song on ATARI at beta test, that I could not recognize this - mk maybe had been crazy about this. Endless versions I created with little changes - nothing worked correct. I got frustrated and the intro was on the way to the trash can... But then, we got the info that rensoup - the creator of RMT2LZSS tool changed the LZSS player a bit to work with his tool. When he released his source to the public I could correct the issues and finally whe are here :) PM has been painted with Gury's Mad Studio and source code typed in and assembled using Jac!'s WUDSN IDE and TeBe's Mad Assembler. Thanks for all these cool tools. Have some fun watching and listening to our little intro! -----------PPs+mk--------------May 2021------------stay ATARI!------------ You can leave a comment (if you want) and download on pouet or here: pps_mk_some_plasma.zip Have fun with this little intro. EDIT: Forgot to mention: NTSC Version should better be named '60 Hz version' and PAL version '50 Hz version'. The intro runs fine on PAL 60 or NTSC 50 when right version is choosen

  6. Hi guys! I and my friend decided to bring something new to you. The joystick. But we need some feedback before it. Description: We decided to find out a way how to make new Atari Joysticks and similar joysticks with 3D printer. We try to have as similar as possible construction for the same impression of playing games like the original old joysticks. But we have one thing in our construction different. Our Stick will be exchangeable and modulable. We will have more types of sticks and you can choose what type you want. Sticks will have different shape, size etc. Our questions are: 1) Is this idea interesting for you? 2) Are you looking for some new joystick because your old was damaged? 3) What types of sticks do you prefer? What joysticks do you like? What was your favourite joystick in 80/90's? ( CX40, QuickShot etc. ) 4) Would you like exchangeable stick at your joystick ( when you will get tired of the old type of stick you can simply change it for another one ) or you'd rather buy another new joystick when you want to exchange the stick? 5) Is the autofire function important for you? 6) How long stick movement do you prefer? ( short movement is like pressing a small button, long movement is like pressing a key on your keyboard ) 7) Do you like an idea that you can buy only the 3D data for your 3D printer and make it for your own? 8) Do you have some tips why this idea doesn't make sense? For example you can buy really new QuickShot on Ebay etc. Progress: Thank you for your time, sharing and answers! Best regards, EnJoyStick Team
  7. My contribution to the Chaos Constructions'2017, tiny intro: ROM image, source code: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=71620
  8. I forgot to post this a while back. It's a 128 byte intro (demo) for the Atari 2600. It placed 2nd in the 128 byte competition at Outline 2012. It doesn't work correctly in Stella, so you need to use MESS (with the 4k ROM) or a real machine (via say Harmony). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s91ujoAgdkc Links: http://www.pouet.net...php?which=60483 - pouet page http://www.acc.umu.s...s/hectoByte.zip - release, including source code
