  1. It's tested and works 100% - - Got it with an XEGS off amazon. It was dirty and the trigger seemed to stick. Cleaned it off, re-glued one sticker on the side (other is missing) and put a light coat of vaseline on the trigger "bar" and now the trigger feels normal. Tested it out with Bug Hunt XE (included if desired). Looks fantastic other than the missing sticker. I use an LCD TV and have zero plans of ever using a CRT. Things I'd trade it for: Atari recorders, either model with an SIO pass thru 1010 or XC11 (with PS & SIO if not built in) or ***EDIT 2*** Just going to buy a data recorder. These guys will be up on eBay soon - thanks for looking.*** XF551 (with appropriate PS & SIO) Maybe something else - though, I'm really wanting a good recorder - just make an offer if you have Atari stuff you think I'd dig. ----------------------- edit: In addition, I have Flight Simulator II with it's two books, map and control reference card.
  2. From the album: My Game Collection

Bought it at a local Recycler/Resale Shop for $10, had all controllers, cords, and light gun. all works.
  3. okay, I saw this Amiga lightgun by actionware on ebay. It's still live: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Commodore-Amiga-Actionware-Light-Gun-Gray-Phaser-/272807926381?hash=item3f849e9a6d:g:NrAAAOSwutpZlGZK The gun looks exactly the same as my xg-1 lightgun. It even looks like there is red left from a peeled Atari sticker. Also, note the insane price (dunno... seller may just be delirious). I read somewhere that Actionware often repurposed and resold nintendo zappers with their lightgun games. I haven't seen evidence of this, but it sure as heck looks like that is what they did with the xg1 here. Now I'm wondering if the xg1 works on the Amiga and C64 or if there is some mod done to the guns. I have a c64 and I love lightgun games so having it work on another computer would be a plus. I'm also thinking... heck... maybe I should just do the mod and sell my xg1 for 120 bucks on ebay lol (okay not really but there may be others that might want to).
  4. Is there a way to navigate the menu with the lightgun? If so, is this an add-on to future firmware updates? I have a BEST electronics lightgun playing Sentinel. I have to switch ports so often, joystick to navigate the menu to Sentinel, then unplug and plug in light gun...Will eventually mess up the ports. One solution is to get the real cartridge. Another would be to navigate with the lightgun, if that is possible. When I click the button, it moves through items, but does not have a way to select one. Orion
  5. Today I received my third XG-1 lightgun, and I noticed some differences. "Made in Japan" written outside, Newtronics PCB, low finder, metallic joystick plug: Witways PCB, higher finder, normal joystick plug, shape like red G1 light Gun:
  6. Hi, I am trying to get the screen to flash when the trigger on the lightgun is pressed. I tried the following: lda INPT5 ; a 0 in bit D4 means the fire button was pressed bmi SkipCheckFire ; if the fire button wasn't pressed then jump to SkipCheckFire lda #$01 sta FlashState ; set gun barrel anaimation to true lda WHITE sta COLUBK ; set the background color to white SkipCheckFire However it only works when the fire button is pressed on a joystick controller. Does anyone know how to check if the fire trigger was pressed on a lightgun? Sincerely, Primordial Ooze
  7. Have any copies of this game been found yet?? If yes, are there any repros out there being made. I would love to play it once I get either a modded Flashback 2 or a 2600 JR. Also, what force prevented its release in 1989? :? :?
